  2. I’ve been a long time customer at this store, and I’ve trusted my pets to receive care from both Banfield and their grooming salon. I couldn’t be happier with any of the services I’ve received, from the dedicated and professional nature of employees and managers alike, to the absolute care that the salon and clinic have shown my fur babies. My ventures at the salon leave my pooches smelling delightful, and looking as stylish as ever. One is old and reactive to dogs, and one is a husky (self explanatory as to why he’s a trouble child) and they turn out stunning with little stress. They are done in a timely manner too! Always a joy heading here. 10/10!

  3. I did an online order for curbside pick up for dog food, I got there right at 7 I didn’t know it ends at 7pm. It says to come inside, I was going to go inside but my son didn’t bring his shoes with out me knowing! So I called the store asking if there was anyway they can please bring it to my car and explained my son didn’t bring his shoes, but if not it’s totally okay. She replies in a rude voice “ you know we are very busy right now”, “can you pull up to the front”, I said yes thank you so much! And she just hung up on me. I pulled up front, and I got out my car so she didn’t have to lift the big bag of dog food and save her time so she can get back inside, I thanked her twice and she just gave me a blank stare and walked away!! I never felt so uncomfortable. Soo rude!! This is the second time I’ve had a bad experience with customer service at this store. I won’t be shopping here anymore. My son said wow that’s a true Karen 🤣 Are people even nice anymore??

  4. I understand being busy…im a NURSE. What I don’t understand is waiting at the pet store 45 min trying to flag down help and being walked by 3 times and over spoken to get feeder mice for my grandsnake. I even went to the front and was told someone will be with me shortly. Sad that a cpl more attractive people were waited on before I was even acknowledged. 😪

  5. the most uncomfortable experience checking out. the older cashier lisa gave me the dirtiest look & had such a miserable aura, she was so rude.

    Alexis was so great with my girl! I wasn’t satisfied the when I picked her up, but to be fair we came in earlier than expected to pick her up for an emergency. She let us bring her back in the next morning to fix her up and she did exactly what I wanted. I can never find a good poodle groomer due to difficulty of their coat but she did amazing for my girls summer cut. I can’t wait to bring her back.

    Over the past few months, we have been in and out of Petco trying to determine how to get started with an aquarium for our little one. We wanted something that was rather simple to care for and was visually appealing for our son, who enjoys watching fish swim around. Mel, the aquatics supervisor at the Petco located off Texas Avenue in College Station, has been so helpful in our selections. Each interaction involved a different aspect; tank size, fish type and quantity per tank, filtration and lighting, plants, water testing, and monitoring the levels. She’s shared her own personal experiences and advice she’s learned from working with other professionals, which was extremely useful in making our decisions. We’ve come to see Mel as more of a friend versus a Petco associate and look forward to visiting with her every time we go in! Would highly recommend going to see her for ALL of your aquatic needs!!

    I HUGE THANK YOU to the young man in the aquatics department, ADRIAN. His wealth of knowledge on fish, aquariums, and aquatic plants was most impressive and a tremendous help to me. His passion and care for the animals and plants in this store is obvious. I ended up coming back a second time yesterday to purchasing more plants, as I realized that this store has the better selection than I can find in my area and thanks to A’s advice, I know my plants will do well in my set-ups. I will definitely be back on my next trip to College Station!

    Brought my dog second Yorkie to you guys first one was Chewbacca this one’s new one is pup pup and you guys are very friendly and I love that it’s very close to my home so I don’t have to really worry about the care of my baby in the safety of where he is love the place thank you for you guys’ services bringing him back for grooming next

    Shelby went above and beyond typical customer service when ringing up my items. I recently lost my job and money has been tight, but I always do what is best for my dog. When the total rang up to over $75 she even didn’t hesitate to price match all of my items online and I was able to save over $20. To most people thats not a lot, but to me it meant everything. Thank you so much Shelby!

    It was a quick, fast and easy process overall. I felt comfortable leaving my dog with them. They love on your pet like they are their own pets, and they do a wonderful job grooming! Her cut job was perfect, exactly what I asked for! Love this place! Will definitely go back!

    Worst service i have ever experienced! They will invent reasons to charge you extra money. $20 “handling” fee if someone has to “hold” your dog during the service. I managed a grooming salon for 5 years and know that sometimes having to hold a dog is necessary for portions of the groom, like nail grinding, it is just part of the job. But I would never even consider charging a customer for this normal occurrence. I want to add that the dog in question is a puppy who weighs 9.5lbs, he is not aggressive, he just fights a bit when they grind his nails. If a groomer cant handle him, maybe they should seek alternative employment. Also, they wanted to charge me extra for having an elderly dog. I mentioned that he had kidney disease and all of a sudden they had to get permission to give him a simple bath and they wanted to charge me an extra $20 to give him an express bath, which they quoted me would take about an hour and a half and I would have to sit there and wait for him. I refused their service and took all 3 of my dogs home. I’m disgusted by their nickel and dime tactics but I’m mostly angry that I wasted an hour and a half of my tightly scheduled day, and had to leave without getting my dogs much needed grooms. The green haired lady had obviously checked my dogs records before I arrived for my appointment bc she knew that my puppy needed vet records and that he needed to be muzzled for nails, so if they checked the records for my other dogs, they would have known about my elderly dog and contacted me about any concerns they had PRIOR to me driving 30 mins to the appointment. Altogether, horrible experience. Horrible customer service and will try to tack on ridiculous fees.
