What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. One of the larger locations in the East Bay (comparative to Dublin) with more selection and inventory to choose from.

Come here for greeting cards (Hallmark for 2 for $1 and “handmade cards”
For $1), gift bags (tiny to giant sizes), and colored tissue paper, preschool and school-related items (great resource if you homeschool), seasonal decor (great resource for all the major holidays) and candy, cough drops and facial mask.

Store is usually stocked, clean, organized. Friendly staff: You will get welcomed as soon as you walk through the doors.

Aisles are wide and clear if you use a walker, wheelchair, or push a stroller.

Plenty of free parking in the lot with the blue handicapped parking spaces right in front of the door.

  2. MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT AFTER MONTHS OF ITEMS NO LONGER COSTING $1.00.

AFTER MONTHS or price increases this store still advertises products as $1.00 which misleads hundreds of consumers to spend unintended amounts of money and it inconveniences any customer by REFUSING REFUNDS through it’s policy.

So you advertise a price. The consumer buys it later checks the receipt. The consumer returns to the store to request a refund but Dollar tree refuses…SCAM.

I should be able to trust EVERY MERCHANT in this country to honor it’s advertised prices. If there’s a class action lawsuit, my name will be at the top.

  3. I’ve been to a lot of Dollar Tree stores and this has been the best by far. The shelves are stocked, and organized. neat as posible (remember that the patrons make a mess that is seemingly impossible for the staff to maintain-but not here).

The staff are always pleasant- Tina and Lakiffany were very helpful and polite. Customers not so much. It baffles me how one can be mad at the Dollar Tree! 🤷🏽‍♀️

  4. good selection and helpful and kind clerks. most of the dollar items are now $1.25 they have wonderful cards at reasonable prices. a very fun store to go to with all kinds of containers and supplies.

  5. Great selection of things from household to automotive to pets. No fresh foods, which is fine. The new selection and quality of merch had improved dramatically. Yes!

My son loves Gabby’s dollhouse. It’s a show off Netflix and the Facebook group online says at a Dollar tree. There is a lot of Gabby stuff since you really can’t find any of their merchandise in the stores unless you go to Walmart and I’m not going to Walmart for nothing. First of all I want to say this is the cleanest Dollar tree I ever been to and it was so unbelievably clean that I technically had to be on high alert of my own kids. Whatever stigma you have about the dollar store get it out of your head because honestly they had a lot of good stuff here and they had the Gabby stuff that I needed.

Stopped by dollar tree for a few items. Bought a few simple toys for the kids, gliding planes, stirafoam doesn’t last forever but they do love flying them. New track toy with balls to hunt for the cat. Also got some cleaning supplies for the house spices, frozen berries and hot pockets. They had new organizing boxes that looked good, just the right size I needed. New set of reading glasses for me…I broke my last cute pair stepping on them. They have fathers day gifts in plus memorial and 4th of July decorations. This place is well stocked, clean and clerks are helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking shared with the rest of the shopping mall.

The store has issues. It’s often closed, can you find out after you drive there. Happened to me three times now so that’s annoying.Several of the checkers are really great and long time employees. But they’ve got the air conditioners hooked up backwards so it’s over 100° in the store even on cool days. (They have the AC unit sitting right in the store so well it’s blowing cold air out the front, the exhaust is going right back into the store making it even hotter! )

It’s a Dollar Tree. Not small, but a good size. They have stuff back in stock after a while which I didn’t see the last time I was there. The cashier said they don’t always get what they need from the trucks. I saw the larger refill soap which they were out of stock for a while. Everything else I was looking for was in stock. They have hand sanitizer in stock and hydrogen peroxide too if you’re looking for those items. This is as of 10/9/20. 1/14/23 I came here looking for isopropyl alcohol and I hit the jackpot! For some reason this store almost always has it in stock for me when I stop by. The other two Dollar Trees in Concord (Monument and Salvio St.) doesn’t seem to have it in stock. This is one of the bigger Dollar Trees in the area and so I can see why they have more items in stock. The only bad side is that they don’t have enough shopping carts in the store for use. 4/23/23 I came here looking to see if they had rubbing alcohol and they usually do. I was able to stock up. They also had more shopping carts in the store. Of course, you can’t take them outside so be prepared to either bring your own or ask for bags or bring your own to save on the bag fee to take the items outside. They did have a nice selection of planter pots some of which I have seen on the Dollar Tree website. However, the print that I was looking for they were out of stock. I was bummed out about that. I guess I’ll have to wait until next year or just put my plants into different pots. They still had some bulbs that could be planted of the flower that I have actually bought at Lowes, but I don’t think they have anymore of the Freesia bulbs. The planting area is smaller as spring is ending and they’re setting up the store section for graduation and summer.

Great prices and wide variety of goods. This store is not managed properly and owners should be ashamed. The air conditioning unit is non existent and is on a container overseas is what they’re saying . It’s too hot not only for customers but those employees that are working on that sweat shop. Also understaffed. I went in at lunch and literally asked the sole cashier if she could call for a back up cashier and her under stressed response was she’s at break and she looked beyond the register to see 15 people in one line . Thanked them for patience.. yet, when I get to check out she says yo me … do you think we overtly plan this!.. Was not about to twist her words – or argue with an employee who shouldn’t be working in these conditions . Close this place and get the facilities working and organize the crew a tad better . Way too much going on .. Greedy owners !! Shame on you and don’t blame the managers or staff .. You can do better !
