What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. One of the coolest grocery stores I’ve been to in a while. All the staff was friendly and no one even questioned me taking pictures for a Google review. You’ll find everything you need here for your cooking needs for the family. This location is also very clean, and nothing seemed out of health standards.

  2. Sent my wife to Kroger to buy a pork picnic shoulder. She went to the meat department and the butcher sold her a boston butt and told her it was the same thing. He needs to be fired. Now I’m out $18. Went there the Friday before Easter at 6pm to pickup some items for Easter dinner. They were out of five basic items:
    – Whole carrots
    – Split chicken breasts
    – Kroger butter 1lb package
    – Whole buttermilk
    – Green Giant canned vegetables, corn and green beans
    My last time shopping here.

  3. 2 years in a row I’ve been burned. A year ago to the day I was writing another review about how upset I was with Kroger. Once again I’m trying to get a cake for my son’s birthday and I’ve got nothing to show for it. I show up at my designated time and they tell me there is no cake, they didn’t make it. We tried calling you ONE time. Damage control was giving me 2 1/4 sheet cakes when I ordered 1 1/2 sheet. AND I STILL HAD TO PAY! Kroger you’ve done this to me for the LAST time!

  4. Placed a Kroger pick up order as I have done before without any issues. This time when I got home I realized they put all 80 items in my trunk individually without putting them in bags. This included meat items not in a bag and leaking blood on my items and vehicle. They placed my hamburger buns at the bottom so they were completely flat and ruined. Then placed wrong items in the order instead of what I actually ordered. Requiring another trip to swap out the ruined hamburger buns and the correct items I ordered. The manager swapped the items out and admitted they were at fault. He also stated there was nothing else he could do and acted like he didn’t care. Was told to call the 1-800 krogers number if I wanted any credit. This is absolutely poor customer service, mistakes happen but the way they responded was unacceptable.

  5. A lady Lady in deli &bakery need to be fired no customer service skills at all acted as though I was bothering them didn’t want to assist me as they souldve, politely with a positive attitude in the bakery I actually had to go get a manager to handle the situation that manager was really nice ,accommodating ,if employees don’t want to have the right attitudes toward customers or don’t want to be bothered&give good customer services they shouldn’t be working there especially when it got the point that I had to get a manager involved to resolve the issue it’s too nice if a store overall to have some employees that shouldn’t be there

I don’t know how the management of this store isn’t embarrassed and can’t see changes desperately need to be made. Pic doesn’t do it justice, but a line longer than this for us to check our own selves out?? It’s bad enough we don’t get paid to do what YOU are supposed to do, but now you’re forcing us to wait in line because more than HALF your self-checkout registers are broken/offline. Disgraceful.

Clean Kroger with a fair selection but they NEED to get the front of the store in order. I am routinely spending more time waiting in line than I did actually shopping, to use the three to four self checkout’s they have with 10 to 15 other people. Today I left without buying anything because the $2 garlic bread was going to take 20 minutes to buy so I put it back. It is impossible to have a real person ring you up because they either only have one or two cashiers and people with full shopping carts are just parked there. The self checkout attendants either seem apathetic or overwhelmed. I can understand that the average age of the customers in there is higher than normal and that they may have difficulty using self checkout but that just means the attendant should be more keen to step in and help them instead of standing there watching them try to scan the same item ten times. When speaking to a manager, Sean, I got an “I’m aware” and a “we haven’t had a front manager for 5 months”. I wanted a solution not insight into the inner machinations of your departments. If median base pay for a self checkout attendant is $14 an hour then pay them more out of the $4.2 Billion y’all made in profit last year in 2022? We are paying an arm and a leg for groceries as it is.

There are no cashiers here and i have 2 carts full of groceries… Staffing levels are apparently low and im surprised someone didn’t open a register.. there were a few customer here with full carts… If Kroger is trying to replace real cashiers with automated one they need to stop

You don’t need another reason to hate shopping at Kroger, but I’m going to give you one anyway. You know that entitled White woman who shouts at you “put the item in the bag” the second you scan your first item? Well, the sadists in the Kroger IT department have made it so you can no longer put her on mute. Now customers can share in the feelings of anger and despair that their employees put up with on a daily basis! So thoughtful and inclusive!

Man, I just left there for the last time. This is the third time I’ve just left my cart full of stuff sitting there and walked out because the lines were so long. They only had one register open and three self checkouts. The line for the self checkouts was mayhem, people were branching off down different isles and creating like five different lines. Never again.
