- Reviews:This a fair size supermarket. If you don’t want a super big place which so many aisles this is your place. Their ready to eat Sushi and Asian plates are good. I also enjoy to stop by and get some already sliced fruit for snack. Where is all the produce?!?! The store is huge with very little in stock. Unless you want a really cool kitchen item this is not where I will be coming. - Reviews:I’m never disappointed. 1st choice for reasonably priced higher quality produce. Store brands are as good as name brands and cost MUCH less. This crazy economy has me focusing on costs more than at any other time in my life. I don’t drive my car any more than necessary. I am finding the only time I do grocery shopping at Walmart is when I have to go there for a bunch of “Walmart stuff” and will do all my shopping in one stop. Some of the upscale HEBs, we call them Gucci B are a joy to wander through… tortilla machine in the bakery, huge fresh fish and meat departments BBQ grills cooking up a storm, fresh sushi guys doing their thing and sooo much more. I love their barbacoa on the weekends, i wish they had barbacoa tacos for breafast, I would tottaly buy tacos everyday. Their rostitaty chicken is amazing and i love the flavor of the lemon pepper one. They are not over cooked or raw, they are just on point. Horrible customer service, I went to purchase a videogame and no one was in the Electronics station, I asked an employee if I could get help and she told someone to go help me and cool I thanked her and went to wait half an hour and no one arrived. Employees saw me waiting and they made like I was out of sight no one asked me if I needed help. I was viewing the item that I wanted and couldn’t purchase it because there was nobody to open the cristal door. I work for customer service too at another place and here in this Walmart my experience was really poor, honestly.
Did a pick up order as an alternate. I showed up a little late parked and was check-in really quickly. Order was ready and staff was super nice. One of the best customer service I’ve had in a while.
Walmart is an excellent place to find many items that you can’t find in other places so easily. I think that in the last year prices have risen somewhat, so I recommend being cautious before going to the checkout, they have self-checkout boxes, they have staff In case you get confused when paying, it was nice to find the Mr. Beast chocolates my son wanted and we found them on sale for $1.50. Parking is free.
Last year they have been very pleasant. I see more employees on the floor for when you need help. The store recently remodeled and did a reopening. Give a new fresh vibe and lots of new brands and merchandise! There has been a cashier more often lately. Aside from the self checkouts recently.
They never answer the phones when you call from home for information. And, when you are in the photo section, they never have anyone available. So, now I never ship for photo gifts online. I would rather shop at Walgreens for that.
