For years we ordered our medicines online whenever possible, but since I also have to treat my four-legged family members from animal welfare very often (see photo), I decided a few weeks ago to buy what I needed faster locally again. I chose the Neue Apotheke because of the customer card discount, although the basic price for the calculation there is usually higher than the AVP of the online pharmacies 😉 .

    I ordered 2 packs of homeopathic capsules by phone early in the morning and should be able to pick them up at 1 p.m. I was there at 12:48 and the first variety was already there; the second drug should then be available at 2 p.m. – delivered from another place. When I appeared again in vain and according to the friendly employee it could take even longer due to traffic jams on the motorway, she offered to have the missing capsules delivered to my home; I agreed, paid for this item as well and received a proof of delivery indicating same day delivery.

    Nothing came and I called the next morning for details. They couldn’t help me and I was supposed to report again at 10 a.m., which my husband then took over. The lady on the phone, Ms. O…, immediately asked him who had told us that the delivery would be made and he gave the name that was on the delivery note. When she didn’t believe him even after she gave me the additional receipt number he asked for, he handed me the phone and I tried to explain the matter to her. She immediately interrupted me and claimed that I had only called at 12:48 p.m. the day before (wrong – at 12:48 p.m. I was standing in front of the counter and was already given the first medication I had ordered!!). The aggressive lady then agreed to have the pills delivered to me on the same day and I explained to her that I would be in Uedem all day, wouldn’t be back until the evening and would come the next day myself.

    A day later I drove to the pharmacy and tried to clarify the problem with the manager. Ms. Koglin disappeared briefly to talk to Ms. O…, but then very quickly came back alone and made it clear to me that this lady was always very nice and that she herself had no interest in finding out anything. I would only talk alone (unfortunately I didn’t even get around to that!!) and she doesn’t attach any importance to that.

    Maybe Ms. Koglin doesn’t value customers like me, my neighbor, a former schoolmate and a few friends. I myself now go to the pharmacy “around the corner” for urgently needed medication with the same discounts and otherwise buy online again at the cheapest price – without personal advice, but also without the most unfriendly service.

  3. Due to the fact that I have unfortunately had to submit an antigen test every day for the last 2 months, I have visited the Neue Apotheke test station very often.
    Here I was tested by nice and friendly employees. The waiting times were relatively short and the results were always emailed within 20 minutes.

  4. We had made an online appointment for a PCR TEST for our upcoming vacation today and were fobbed off on the spot with the words: “We’re not doing a PCR TEST today”. At the same time, friends of ours were able to do the same at the Wanner test station. Very unfriendly staff and zero competence! Luckily we were able to make an appointment online in Wanne, where we were welcomed by the friendly staff.

  5. Today I redeemed my prescription online for the first time and called again to be sure because it was online I should then send the prescription by post and then the order would be sent

    A not very friendly employee answered and said very briefly and just about that’s not true what’s online I misread it I can just give it to the driver and then just hung up

    Due to my wife’s illness, we were very often in this pharmacy and I can only say absolutely TOP service. The medicines were delivered quickly and the delivery person was very friendly and reliable. The pharmacy also communicates directly with the family doctor if there are any questions. In a particularly urgent case, the medication was delivered to my home outside of the normal delivery times. This without additional costs, not even a tip was accepted! If, like us, you are looked after as well as we are with a serious illness, that is really great and makes things a lot easier.

    Staff very nice but sold me the wrong medication. Wanted to buy a medicine for my son (2 months old) and the pharmacist just sold me a medicine which is from 8 months. I told you my son is 2 months old. I don’t think it’s okay. It’s a shame that you can’t rely on the staff. I specifically asked for a recommendation as it is my first child.
