  1. At Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton, none of them looked happy to work there for starters. The table was dirty and had to request for cleaning. Only the bartender was pleasant. The server was late, served food without cutlery, just a big serving spoon. I had to ask from reception so I could eat. Not the service I would expect from such place.

  2. Good and food was as expected. Wait staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean. Just a little on the expensive side. It’s nice that you can grab lunch and then browse the mall or vice versa.

  3. Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and food. Personal favorite is the Mongolian Beef, is a must order whenever I pull up. Was a bit busy and had to wait for our table, but the staff was attentive and helpful. Perfect spot to take your little siblings for a nice dinner when parents are on vacation.

  4. Had a reservation, waited about 3-5 minutes. Service was on point and wait staff was very attentive. Food is great as always. Restaurant is clean, the restroom needs a little attention. Reserve your table ahead of time specially on weekends. Will definitely come back!

  5. I’ve dined at a lot of chinese restaurants, and this one, sorry to say, doesn’t stand out! The food is average at best, and the price is way too high for what you’re getting.

I ordered four dishes to see how they tasted compared to other restaurants. Some of the dishes were too salty, while others were somewhat bland.

For a well-known restaurant, in my opinion, management needs to address the cooking staff in their food preparations.

The Cheesecake Factory had lines out the door. While this establishment had four tables to wait on. Something is wrong…..

    Just my observation and opinion.

My dinner was delicious. Chicken satay was fresh, hot, and delicious, and the greens it was served on were also very fresh. There was no skimping on the chicken they gave me. I’m very satisfied with this wonderful dinner and the value was great.

First visit and definitely visiting again as we have good experience in quality of food , service and the taste was superb. We ordered veggie fried rice, roti trio,Thai ice tea and dessert as fried banana served surf ice cream. I found the price also very reasonable as per the prices of Bay Area restaurants.

Update: Still too salty, but the papaya salad is always a winner. Server was very attentive & polite. Great food, a bit too salty as with many Thai places. Decent portions, large soup could be more generous. Yellow curry was yummy, side of white rice $2. Papaya salad was interesting, fresh & a nice start to our meal. Servers were available for water refills, brought each dish out as soon as it was prepared. Much nicer inside than what you’d guess from the store front. Nicely decorated with plants, flowers, paintings, carvings, etc. Will go back, hopefully if less salty next time, I’ll change rating to 5 stars!

First time. I looove Thai food was super excited to try this cute Lil place. I ordered the new year special appetizer and my favorite yellow curry chicken and rice. The appetizers were ok seemed like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for quite sometime. The curry was delicious 😋 the only thing was hardly any potatoes. But There was A lot of chicken so I was absolutely ok with it because the flavors were on point! I will definitely be back to try again. And the young man who took my order was sooo nice and so efficacious!

We stopped in for a mid-week lunch at this local favorite. Service was courteous and attentive and they had a spot available immediately even though it was packed. I ended up liking the broccoli beef and the potstickers the best. The hot and sour soup was good but the wonton soup was lacking flavor. I will of course be returning to this great little establishment. *Great for groups, families, friends, couples, and business lunches

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Pleasanton. We do take out from there frequently and also love eating in, particularly with visiting family and friends. The service is always wonderful and friendly! The food is fresh and always delicious. There has been nothing on the menu that we have tried that hasn’t been delicious.

This is part of the Uncle Yu’s group and is some of if not the best Chinese food in the area. I live in Fremont but whenever I am near Pleasanton or have any excuse to go there, I almost always stop there for a meal especially given the general mediocrity of sit-down Chinese restaurants in the Fremont area. For me the Uncle Yu’s group is the equivalent of Chief Chu’s in the East Bay. However, I must disagree with the price point rating as I would give it $$$ not $$. That said, given the quality and service I feel it is worth it. Normally the service is terrific but on my last occasion, stopping by after the County Fair, service was disappointing. We arrived around 7:30PM and ordered multiple courses around 15 minutes later. All the food was served at once and many of the dishes were cold when we got to them. We were then told that the kitchen closes at 8:00PM except on weekends when it closes at 8:30. This is obviously not a place for late night dining. In any case we had the cold dishes packed up, took them home, carefully reheated them in a microwave at low power and they were delicious. Some good points are that while charging for rice they do not charge extra for brown rice and unlike so many other restaurants these days they do not tack on a mandatory service charge or tip other than for parties. One of the negative points that seem common with the restaurant group is mostly bare walls and floors with poor sound absorption leading to a quite noisy environment during prime dining hours. That said overall this is a great Chinese restaurant.

Great place, wonderful service! After being ignored at near by restaurant we found Andy & Yu’s place where we were treated like guest at the restaurant should be. Great selection of dishes, wines, and other spirits. Leeche Martin very, very tasty.

Food was very very mediocre. For Asian cuisine I expect flavor. Nothing about this was flavorful, more like flavorless. Server was not very kind or timely. Would never come back.
