I’m from NYC, so my taste is a little different from others so I can’t really rate the food based on that, I can however rate the atmosphere and people, I gave it a 3 starts because it’s very gloomy, empty the staff are not familiar with Japanese custom and culture so it feels like I just walk into a regular restaurant that serves Japanese food, the show was great love the fireworks, food way too salty, big portions but I couldn’t eat it.

  3. This was our first time dining here, and it did not disappoint. Service was great, the food was amazing and we will be back for sure.

  4. We visited here for a Sunday lunch. Service is very slow, be warned. We waited for over 15 minutes for someone to come over to our table to offer us drinks. I asked for Gyoza 🥟 as an appetizer and had to ask for another order. They were completely burnt. My husband asked for veggie tempura and it was clear that the oil had not been changed and these were soaked in oil as well. I asked for the Hawaiian and Hollywood rolls. My husband asked for the chicken teriyaki dinner. My rolls were just ok. My husband described his meal as average and he was disappointed that there were no veggies. This restaurant will not be among our regular visits.

  5. i went here before for my graduation and wanted to come back for my cousin birthday. food was good of course but the chef was very rude. he had bad energy coming to the table and also forgot my moms steak. when he had to go to the back he came back with the nastiest attitude. he didn’t entertain us like they usually do, he just cooked. none of the antics that usually comes with the service. i assumed maybe he was having a bad day until i seen him go to a table filled with white people and had completely different energy and did every single antic that usually comes with the service, the train, entertainment, etc. we also told them it was my cousins birthday he didn’t even say happy birthday or do anything to celebrate my cousins birthday. the chef also ran out of a sauce we all wanted and got an attitude with my aunt and all of us. he said that he’s not our server and that we can ask him for anything else. mind you the only thing we asked for was sauce, sauce he had on his cooking cart. food was good overcouse, the service was just terrible. it didn’t feel like a birthday experience our server was also a bit stressed so i can’t blame him much but he was messing up as well. as for the chef the only thing that i remember about him is that he wore a jade necklace. he was just very rude to us and i felt like it was more of a racial type interaction because when he went to a table of white people he was respectful and entertaining. we also spent a lot of money today and also had a big group so they got great gratuity and tips. i wish we weren’t in a rush because we should’ve gotten some compensation for that treatment.

    We visit restaurants to have an enjoyable time. When we went to this particular restaurant with our twin babies, we requested two high chairs, but they only brought one. I had to ask again for another chair, but they ignored me initially, so I had to ask once more. Secondly, in a restaurant setting, it is customary for the staff to not bring the check unless the customer requests it. The waitress should continue serving the table, such as clearing finished plates and refilling water glasses. However, the waitress was absent for most of the time and only brought the check while we were still eating. She stood next to our table, giving the impression that we should stop eating and leave. Throughout our meal, she appeared to be preoccupied with her phone. When I inquired if she had any questions for us, she replied negatively and went off to chat and laugh with her colleague. I put my credit card down, expecting her to collect it along with the merchant receipt, but instead her laughing colleague approached our table and impolitely asked how much I intended to tip. This behavior was extremely bothersome. I decided to express my dissatisfaction on the back of the check, only to find that the same person who was laughing with the waitress was now standing there along with other restaurant staff, observing and laughing at our table. As I was in the middle of writing my complaint, he interrupted to ask if I had finished. I expressed my ongoing dissatisfaction. This restaurant experience was extremely frustrating, and I have no intention of returning or recommending it to anyone. I would rate it with no stars at all if I have the option do that.

    The Mgr. Was great and The Waitress was Amy. She was so friendly and absolutely the best. As far as I noticed. All the help were great. I have never liked Chinese food. But after eating at China King in Mansfield. It was great. So I can say the cooks are great. I will definitely go back many more times. Thanks for settling here in my hometown of 48 years. Audrey

    My request to not be seated at back by drink service area where dishes cleared from tables are placed was not received well. Male employee seating guest deep sighed while reluctantly seating us at another table. Two server passed our table the entire dining time …which was about 30 mins before I had to wave one down to request a drink refill. Staff was rude and non accommodating. We had not dined at a buffet in months and this poor service, food, and atmosphere solidified why and NEVER TO DINE at China King Super Buffet Mansfield EVER AGAIN. I would NOT RECOMMEND this establishment.

    Got seated right away. Friendly staff. Table and seat was cleaned. Tried almost everything in small amount. Loved the small clam it was my first time. Stuff crab was delious. Egg rolls my favorite. The eggdrop soup was the bomb. Tried the different kinds of salads topping nice and fresh. The jello was very flavorful and the watermelon in season just right. Waitress was very prompt to pick up dirty dishes. Will come again. We enjoyed the service and hot food.

    Local here! This is one of my go-to lunch places, highly recommend. Service is good, we never had an issues with staff, they are always polite & stay on top of things. Wait time for good to come out is pretty good too. I’ve been when it’s slow and I’ve been when it’s busy, you’re never waiting too long and the food always comes out hot. I’m going to be that person, I like everything here, never been disappointed. I’d say my typical lunch order is the beef teriyaki bento box, even the sides are good I like their salad dressing and their miso soup. Upgrade your white rice to fried rice, you won’t regret it. For dinner, it’s usually sushi… the salmon crunch roll is my favorite & they have a good incredible role. Sweet potato tempura, yes! And cleanliness is an A+! Definitely check this place out!

    Got the Chicken Katsu, Shoyu Ramen, Appetizer combination (tuna nachos, gotta, fried tofu). The side salad is super good with a sweet dressing. Food is all fresh, hit, and delicious! Their Thai tea is a must!!

    A solid sushi experience. Nothing overly fancy, but the food is consistently good, the food is fresh, the prices are reasonable, and the servers are efficient. Worth checking out, but decent enough to become a regular.

    Service was real friendly, rolls top notch, wife got the chicken udon noodle soup (was kinda surprised to see that they also put crab meat in it, and it’s not listed on the menu). Sweet heart roll, incredible roll, and rattle snake roll are all great.

    This place has been my go to sushi place for the past few years. Service is always fast and the staff is always pleasant to interact with. They have a HUGE menu of all different kinds of rolls for whatever flavors you’re in the mood for. I personally love the soft shell crab fried rice. I could literally eat that everyday if I could. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for good sushi.
