- Reviews:The ambiance is relaxing , eating to the light tune of classical music. I loved it. Food is served on a lazy susan, so food is reachable for all guests. Every dish we ate was great. (a month ago)June 2023 – Party of 3, around 1030am on a Saturday. It was pretty packed! Waited about 15-20 minutes until our table was ready. Food/Pricing – The food was hot and yummy! As it should be for the price point. Service/Ambiance – Tea cup had leftover food in it (super gross) and it was difficult to flag down staff to request things. You order by scanning a QR code and staff come by to drop off items. The teapots are pretty. It’s too expensive for dim sum. Will return if family wants to but it’s not somewhere I’d visit regularly. Chicken feet, pork short-rib are generally good as well as the desserts. One might being faced with the long waiting time at weekends morning and noon. Will return highly recommend. There are several negative reviews I read before coming but I didn’t find any of them to be true. Service was good for a busy Chinese restaurant, yes you must call for service when needed as well as the bill, yes our water was served a paper cup, yes I got my own to-go box from the stack, and yes it was a bit loud but this is Chinese culture and the food was amazing and that is what I care most about. If the food is good you have my support! BTW the portions are large and the size of the dim sum are huge! You will see me eating from a huge bowl of porridge because I couldn’t get a server to bring me a small bowl or spoon. They were very busy so I made due with what I had. Chicken feet were huge plump and juicy honestly some of the best I have had and I’ve had some good ones in Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Overall very satisfied.By 小涵流瑜伽 (6 months ago)Pretty good! - Reviews:Absolute staple in SGV. 6pm on a Monday, got seated within 5 min. Outdoor seating or takeout only. Used to be only cash but now they accept card with a $15 min! Dark meat hainan chicken rice (get extra ginger oil) and pork chop curry. I could go without the curry next time. I’ve had the chicken in Singapore, and HK, so I know what is should be like. The rice was dry, chicken had no essence. Sauces were good. Took forever to get extra. Not enough but for three bites worth. Still don’t get why people wait here. It didn’t bother me but you should exercise some discretion, a food server petted a customer’s dog quite a bit, then proceeded to serve the table next to us their food. Pizza tasted liked boxed frozen pizza; no I apologize, frozen pizza deserve more respect than the one that was served. Pork curry was really tough and no flavor. The quality of food is great and fresh. This is a popular place and the chicken IA good, but the portions are getting smaller, wait staff not as friendly, and the presentation of the food is deteriorating. Delicious and super affordable food. My friends and I went there for lunch after a hike and boy did it hit the spot. We ordered the Sriracha Spaghetti, Curry Chicken, and Thai Boat Noodle. All super delicious and the portions were great too. I would recommend this spot.
Great good !!!! This is one of my fave restaurants if you love Asian food or noodles come here do yourself a favor this place rocks
Best Ramen in town
the place it’s a little old it used to be Big Boy restaurant and they never updated the place their bathrooms are not so clean and old
But their staff it’s very friendly and the food it’s delicious
Solid, cheap Asian food. Tons of rice dishes, noodle plates, and soups. This is one of their first locations I believe. They have multiple locations throughout the county. $10-15/per plate. Parking lot in the rear, and some street side parking up front. Some licensed Big Boy statues inside which seem to fit somehow. Go to dishes are the pad Thai, beef steak, and garlic chicken (well done). Be aware that each location has slightly different menus, and in some cases, like the garlic chicken, is cooked a bit differently. Is this gourmet Asian food? No, but it isn’t meant to be. It’s quick, cheap, and tasty. Friendly staff!
My first time at this location came with the family for the experience very very satisfying food we are all leaving with full bellies😅 even my 1year old😂 will definitely be coming again service is 👍👍👍
