  1. Me and my fiancé had a decent experience here that could’ve been better.
    First off I’ll talk about the positives:
    The hibachi I got was delicious and didn’t take very long. Most of the buffet items that were put out were tasty and there was only a few things that we didn’t enjoy. The sushi was made relatively fresh and was also fine. The real problem here is cleanliness, especially since they’re one of the only Chinese Buffets nearby. As you can see in my photos, there was dust and grime on every single heat lamp above the buffet line. This is unacceptable and there is without question dust that falls onto the buffet line items constantly. The hood above the hibachi grill also was disgusting and dripping with grease. The dining areas were well kept and cleaned for the most part, however the ceiling tiles in the one dining room are rotting and should have been replaced a long time ago. Overall the food we had here was passable, but the cleanliness definitely needs to improve. Only after these issues are fixed can I truly recommend someone here.

  2. I honestly wasn’t expecting the sushi bar to be so good!!! I wish there was a place like this near me! The staff was friendly and quick and the food was AMAZING! I will definitely come back when I’m in the area again!

  3. My last visit was in February. Haven’t gone back since. The waitresses do ALMOST nothing aside from grabbing your drink, and even thats questionable. The price they charge is unreal. Me, my wife, 2 kids (7 and 8) was almost 60 dollars and the drink fetcher stood at our table when we were doing the check, and had the GALL to ask “you give me tip?” How dare someone expect that.. in a day and age where your prices are that high for cold food, empty serving trays, dirty silverware, you EXPECT a tip. I dont think so. Much rather go for hibachi and get FRESH food at Tokyo for that price.

  4. I went for dinner and was not disappointed! As with any buffet most of the food was great some so so. But that is per persons taste. The only thing I was disappointed about is there was no soft serve ice cream as a lot of the buffets have and that kind of makes it even more better.

  5. Food is horrible and cold. Use to be good went there today didn’t eat and was still charged. Never go back again

    This place was fantastic! I just flew in and stopped here on the way in from the airport. The women that helped us was wonderful (although I didn’t catch her name), and the sushi was really good. I have to admit I didn’t expect much from the sushi in Scranton, but this place was really yummy. And their mango smoothie, although a little sweet, was also quite good.

    It was late, almost closing time. Ordered steak, chicken & calamari hibachi and some appetizers. Gobsmacked….!! They were really really good. Even though it was late, still the place was full. The waitress was friendly. Guess it was the place.

    My clients picked this spot for lunch and they ordered online. I ordered the salmon teriyaki. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and apparently spoke to the wrong person because he basically ignored me. When the lady server came out she greeted me and took my name and payment. Another nice lady came out and said the food would be ready soon. The food came out after about 5 more minutes and the nice lady handed me everything. When I got in I ate and the salmon was ok and so were the vegetables. I had a decent experience.

    Been coming here for years since I worked in downtown Scranton. The owner is an absolute dream to chat with. Super friendly, wonderful people, and the sushi is delicious.

    This restaurant has been around for over 30 years and there is definitely a good reason. The sushi was fresh and hibachi was amazing. The service was phenomenal and very friendly. I can’t wait to go back.

    I have Been buying food from China moon for year’s (9 + )and I believe that this is one of the best Chinese restaurant in the Scranton area! they give you a lot of food that’s what I like you are paying for what you’re getting!! Yeah the prices Went up a little but you get more food than some other places..the staff are nice I see people complaining on the reviews about no delivery Grub hub delivers from this place!! You mus try the fried dumplings 🥟 The chicken wing pork fried rice with 1$ shrimp you won’t be disappointed the chicken and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, pepper steak is good and so on you need to give this place I try !
