Nice views and clean, but buffet was thoroughly Westernized and food had sat too long under heatlamps – staff were efficient but ignored buffet allergy safety (same tongs for meat as for veg) – dishes were tasty and plenty, only loosely based on popular dished from China (sweet+sour sauce with noodles/veg and duck/chicken) or Japan (sushi is safe but mostly California-type rolls, very limited nigiri) plus an ice cream/dessert area for kids. Restauarant allowed dogs, had no dress code. Suitable for tourists but the Chinese food fan won’t find it above a 3. Please note I edited/expanded this review in response to the owner’s request.

  3. Food service location cleanliness everything is absolutely good. The selection is average but they try to make it memorable so definitely worth the money

  4. My experience was great and I will come back to shoot a movie and publish it on YouTube. I am a YouTuber and I like to see my followers as a comfortable place to spend time with family and friends and how much the food is varied and delicious

    Horrible. Bad and rude service. It says you can pay by card on the door but you can’t. Oily or dry food. Do not GO!

    Let me start out by saying. If you have any handicap or have trouble using stairs this place is not for you. Large staircase to get in and out. The food me and my companion had was very fresh and prepared. However we both thought our vegetables were very undercooked. Aside from that it was very bland to us. None of the typical wok sauces had been used.

    In September 2019 ,we visited my mother in Hagen and had a super lunch at the Grosse Mauer,we come from South Africa and our Rand is very weak against the Euro,We were 5 People,the service and the food were really great,the price was just under 100 Euro,that was a welcome surprise. We really recommend and God willing, will certainly be back .Thank you!
