What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Overall food tastes delicious. Ambience is good. Appetizers are must try. Lettuce wraps can be better. Portions are considerably good. Food is served hot. Just inform the staff if you want dishes to be served one after other. If not, they bring in all your orders at once.

  2. The atmosphere was lovely. Open, light and spacious. We went for lunch and there wasn’t a wait early, but by the time we left there was a ten minute wait for tables.
The server was polite and efficient and other staff were also attentive.
We shared four dishes and they were all fantastic.
Pork fried rice was good. The Szchuan Garden with shrimp was spicy and delicious. Cashew chicken was flavorful (the chicken is lightly breaded, so be sure to ask, if you have gluten intolerance) and the Kung Pao chicken was very flavorful with a nice kick!
We will definitely eat there again.
The price was a little high, but within range of any good restaurant these days.

  3. This was our first time there, but my wife and I wanted to try it out, since we always talked about it, but never had the chance. And I was truly impressed. The ambiance was very nice and serene, and not because there was a huge Buddha in the middle of the restaurant, but because it was not overly loud, the lighting was just right, and the service was great. The food was also great too. Most of our dishes were not salty and super yummy. The ribs we had were a bit salty and hard, but otherwise not too bad. The Thai Seafood bowl was yummy, as well as our other dishes. Wasn’t too impressed with the wonton soup bowl though. I’ve had better. Prices were a bit high, but worth it. I highly recommend going here at least once if you are here in town. You definitely will not regret it.

  4. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Dirty dishes on the table for use. As you can see in the pictures, there was 2 grains of rice on it. When I lifted the bottom, a few rice was smeared on the table. When I asked for new plates , they didn’t even clean it. The egg rolls were brought out and it was cold in temperature. I told the waiter and he got fresh ones made. The manager came to my table to apologize and I informed and showed him pictures of the table and plates, he did nothing to clean it either. So beware when you dine in. Check your dishes, glasses, silverware for cleanliness. I don’t recommend this location. Try El Dorado Hills.

The food was good and servers friendly. We ordered the yellow curry with prawns…NOT prawns. We ended up paying $5 extra bucks for 5 small shrimps. Will NEVER do that again as those tiny shrimps did nothing to add to the taste. All in all it was a nice restaurant and we enjoyed the food.

So, I can’t believe I haven’t given this place the full review, so here it goes. I have been going to Thai Paradise for years (before they had the expanded dining area). It has become a staple place that serves some of the best food in the area. A fact that hasn’t gone unnoticed by the numerous awards displayed. Whenever you visit, you start off your meal with a complimentary green salad with the best peanut dressing you’ve ever had. Like, it’s stupid simple, but amazing taste. I’ve tried many dishes here, but my hands down favorite is the Spicy Fried Rice with Chicken. The rice is so flavorful, the veggies so fresh and cooked to perfection. The chicken… it’s so darn good. I have to be honest, I don’t actually eat much food at a sitting… so I usually take home my leftovers. This makes my visits to Thai Paradise even better, because I get to eat it for a day or two after. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is consistent, the food… spot on! I love this place and I highly recommend it.

Best Spicy Fried Rice ever had, the rice taste so good, has a hint of black pepper in it and we added cashews to it Even the starter salad they give with peanut dressing is great ( it has eggs in it, so if you’re vegan get some another dressing) The Thai Iced Tea was super, it was refillable but was so full couldn’t refill once! The silver cauldron is the tomyum soup with fire in the center, we added tofu and veggies. It tastes sweet-sour which was amazing in taste! Do try spicy fried rice and the tomyum soup, we also had curry but was so full at that point that we had to do To-Go

Great Thai spot used to be our first choice for Thai. After a long time, I got to visit with my friends. Ambiance and service were great. I ordered drunken noodles with shrimp, and friends ordered the spicy fried rice and tofu drunken noodles, beef drunken noodles, and tofu red curry. Noodles were on the dry side and bit saucier than usual. The flavor was ok. The best choice of the night was tofu veggie red curry.

Our first time here because it was my wife’s birthday, and she’s been craving for some Thai food. The atmosphere and service were good. Definitely love the salad. It was delicious. The only thing I have to say is the crab fried rice. Although it was delicious, it was missing the main ingredient; crab itself. I didn’t see or couldn’t taste the crab in the fried rice. Not only that, the chicken pad thai was bitter. We just packed it to go after 2 bite of it.

Delicious Chinese cuisine! My girlfriend and I went here on a date and it was amazing! HOP SING BEEF So much flavor and super tender. I could instantly tell why this is one of their specialties. It was perfectly cooked with just a touch of color on the inside even though it’s a thin cut of meat and the right amount of sauce. Really melts in your mouth. SALT PEPPER PRAWNS Lots of flavor as well. The breading was crisp and the peppers and onions complemented the flavor very well. SPECIAL FRIED RICE Great fried rice. Lots of different things inside that all work well to bring together a satisfying flavor. I especially liked the sprouts which a lot of restaurants don’t include anymore. HOT TEA It was complimentary and was a nice touch. The light taste went well with all of the different things we ordered. Service was great. They were attentive but not too much. Atmosphere was more on the casual side. Overall an amazing experience. We will absolutely be going there a lot more.

I had birthday party with my friends on Saturday dinner. We ordered 6 different kinds of food and share. My favorite was Sichuan style eggplant&shrimp fries. The spicy taste of the sauce neutralizes the greasy feeling of the tempura. The second most delicious was chow mien. Noodles cooked soft and tender. It has a lot of ingredients like meat, seafood and some vegetables. 3babies on our table enjoyed chow mien. They gave food pretty generous and service was good. After I blew up the candles, they brought some extra dishes for the cake.

My husband and I found Hop Sing Palace by looking for a gluten free option on our way back from Apple Hill this past Sunday. We walked in and immediately asked if they could do anything gluten free. The lovely Lana enthusiastically said, “yes.” She quickly sat us down and gave us the menu. I did not see a gluten free section on the menu, so I just waited for Lana to return to the table. Lana returned to ask what we wanted, and we said we were not sure what to order. Lana said 90% of the menu was gluten free!!! Wow!!! We ordered Sesame Chicken, Fried Rice, Broccoli Beef, and Egg Foo Young. We were stuffed. We looked at the table and the plates of food were still full! So, we asked for to-go boxes and told them we had enough for 3 days! As we boxed up our food, Lana sat the bill down. My husband was estimating the bill to about $100.00. I looked at the amount and it was only $69.00! What?!?! No extra cost for having gluten free food? Thank Lana for not punishing me for having an allergy to gluten and charging me an exorbitant amount of money. So far, we have had lunch, breakfast, and tonight’s dinner. Hop Sing Palace’s food was yummy. It was nice to sit in a traditional Chinese restaurant with the traditional decor. It was lovely. I never dreamed I could have traditional Chinese gluten free food again. Thank you, Lana for allowing me to enjoy Egg Foo Young again.

Ordered take out. Cute old set up. but I was very disappointed in the food. It’s like all the sauces were forgotten in the chow mein and beef broccoli, and our general chicken was soaked in vinegar. I had high hopes since I saw all the good ratings and the fact that it has been in the area for a long time . Sadly, my family and I did not enjoy any of the three dishes we wondered.

Love the place. The front of the restaurant looks small, but there’s another dining room in the back beyond the iron gate. Loved their Mu Shu Shrimp. Fried rice was not greasy, walnut shrimp was delicious, but the Mongolian beef was on the salty side. Price is reasonable.
