What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. My mom went to Home Depot in Concord to replace a refrigerator that she had for 18 years. She found a terrific one but when it was delivered, I had some problems with it fitting. She called to return it and bought another one, which then didn’t fit down her hallway. Ultimately, she got a great one that fit in the space. All along the process, we dealt with Laura Baker at the Concord store. She was knowledgable, professional and incredibly patient and kind. We were very lucky she was there. She absolutely exceeded our customer service expectations. Big box stores are sometimes very impersonal and she made the purchasing process feel very personal. We would definitely go back to that store again.

  2. Horrible customer service! They don’t accept Apple Pay. I think this is the only place in Bay Area doesn’t accept Apple Pay. come on! You are in Silicon Valley and even the tacos stall outside does have it. I had to place an order online to get the stuffs I needed and turned out they didn’t let me pick up the order because I don’t have my Id with me even I provided them the order number and the receipt they sent to my email. I went with my toddler and was so handful and there was no exception for this. I will never go there again. worst customer service ever! It’s funny that Homedepot didn’t want to sell things for me but I am able to buy tacos in front of them easily with my phone. You guys big corporate does need to catch up with technology and customer service!

  3. Dirty, unorganized, long lines of patrons waiting at self- checkouts. Ten plus registers sitting silent, that was at four o’clock in the afternoon.only one member at self- checkout. Now that the depot has bought out or put out of business, all the small ma, pa hardware stores. The choice to just leave and shop elsewhere is all but history. Home Depot was a wonderful concept in their infancy . Today, is it a contractors paradise? or a homeowner dream? It needs to conform to one or the other, trying to do both its starting to look and smell like k-mart, we all know how that ended.

  4. Fairly decent Home Depot. Seems to be a little bit smaller than the average one with the aisles a little more tightly packed. That might just be a perception issue because the last few times I’ve been there it’s been very crowded. The biggest complaint is they just don’t ever seem to have enough people working the aisles — yeah she have people standing around by the self-checkout or near the aisles but they don’t seem to be doing anything to help customers. I’m trying to get support while you’re on the floor is almost impossible if the place is even remotely busy. So if you know what you want and you go there at a not too busy time, it is a good place to shop but other than that you might want to stay away.

  5. Pretty big store, typical Home Depot layout. Many items now in locked cages/cabinets which is annoying to regular law abiding customers. Usually doesn’t have huge lines at checkout, so better than many locations.
