What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. These people open whenever they feel like it. Store states it opens at 9am and even looks open but the doors are locked at 9:15 a.m. Two other customers ended up leaving because no one was answering the phone or door. Unfortunately for myself I am going on vacation tomorrow and have no choice but to wait. This is a great way to lose business

  2. My fiancé paid off her phone at this store and instead they marked her as still needing to pay about $800 dollars. They made a fake deal saying they will provide us watches for $100 dollars each. I agreed and paid them off. Instead it says I owe $350 dollars on both watches still. They stole a lot of money from us and I will be drawing a complaint. Bank statements prove it all.

  3. We walked into this location, one employee sitting at the back of the store greeted us. we asked to see the apple 14 phone and he pointed to the wall and started by saying “the only thing we have is the 14” i said, great can you showed to us? he pointed to the wall and said “its exactly like the 13” so i looked at him and asked, do you not want to get up? of course still lounging in his chair just looked at me like i was out of my mind. Gladly, there was another gentleman named Saad while closely watching what was happening and came out and directed us to another table where he finalized the purchase.

This isn’t really a Verizon store but their licensed authorized dealers should be trained on customer service, at a minimum, they need to be trained on professionalism and courtesy.

If it wasn’t for Saad, I would have walkout and simply could’ve purchased my phone online directly from Verizon.

such a shame that “service” has completely lost its meaning.

  4. These guys were really great, personable, knowledgeable. I was in and out very quickly. However, they did not have any of the iphone models I was interested in in stock. I had no problem waiting when the employee told me they would need to order one… until my mother in Alabama got the shipping information email. I was under the impression they were ordering a phone to the store, or restocking their supply. At no point did anyone think that maybe if I am at a Virginia store, I am not at the Alabama address to get the package? Or communicate that they were mailing me a phone? Both my mother and I attempted to reach the store again that evening to get clarification. No return calls yet. About to waste a lot of money for her to safely overnight me the phone whenever it eventually gets to her. Meanwhile, I am stuck using voice dictation on my janky old phone even longer than I would have if I had just ordered this online to begin with.

  5. This is a 3rd party store.
Meaning they don’t have access to all the Verizon items (per Verizon). They ordered phone/watch/pad for us and said they called me. We never received the items they first said they had them, then didn’t, the pad has always been backordered.
Bottom line; they don’t have a handle on inventory; iffy on customer contact and facts.
Had to cancel the orders and spend hour on phone with verizon fixing billing and charges.
I found it hard to believe anything they said.
Their only positive was that they’re pleasant.

I recently started service with a phone that I brought to Verizon. My phone was cracked for 3 years, yet still worked. As I left AT&T, I used the old Verizon device to start service. After a series of updates, my phone crashed due to not being able to handle the updates (as I was told via a Verizon Customer Rep). My screen began glitching and phone was dropping calls after about 10 minutes, every time. (Thanks, Planned Obsolescence…) I went to the store in hopes of upgrading. Once there, I was put in que, although there were other reps standing around. The representative finally helped me find a phone. We got to the payment process, when I was told I had to go home and provide documentation for their Fraud Prevention department. (I found this to be weird, as I am an active Verizon customer, and didnt understand why I’d need to go through a Fraud Prevention process, when I have service, and had my proof of identity present). Because my device was not working, I was told the only way to verify my identity, was to drive home, upload my ID and supporting documents and come back to the store to finish the process. Once I went home, I had an issue with uploading the documents since I had to scan the files to upload. I decided to take the documents back to the store to see if they could assist me with the issue. Upon arriving back at the store, I told the rep that the link provided was not allowing me to upload my info, and asked if they could verify my identity in-store, due to having no working camera device. He told me they couldn’t allow me to use their device or a computer to verify my identity. I was also scorned by the phone representative I was placed on the phone with during my return visit, to which the phone rep began to laugh and was very condescending, when I told her I was having issues with the system not accepting my documents. The entire process took the majority of my day, having to fight traffic and endure rude and condescending representatives, who did not care to help me remedy this situation. There’s a LOT more to type, but they’ve already unnecessarily taken enough of my day yesterday, and I am left with a bad experience with the service I was provided. I will be transferring service after yesterdays ordeal.

Store is understaffed and improperly managed. I had to wait over one hr to get assistance to purchase a new phone. Instead of actively helping customers, manager sat around occasionally adding the names of incoming customers to the ever-expanding list of waiting patrons. Once I was waited on, service was adequate tho I had to pay a $30 fee to get store to set up my new phone.

Had a new employee that needed to get a new phone and number upon returning to the United States after 20 years abroad. Keenan’s customer service and helpfulness were unbelievable!! He spent 4 hours (not his fault, corporate required a lot of proof) helping this man get everything worked out and was nothing but positive the entire time!! Keenan, Thank you so much for you kind, caring and thoughtful customer service!! I will definitely recommend the Verizon Wireless store in Pentagon City Mall to everyone because of your great service.

I had a wonderful experience here! Rafael spent hours to make sure that everything is set up before I leave. I got a new phone and a new internet service. Thank you so much, I appreciate all your help!

I will never do business with Verizon ever again! Verizon is more concerned with serving their fraud department than their customers. The savings I could earn from Verizon is not worth the bizarre and horribly awful customer service I have experienced over these past 3 days. It is very clear to me that the Verizon Fraud department has become its own little untouchable fiefdom within Verizon. As a result, no one from the lower level Verizon Store Managers to the top executive level have the tools necessary to mitigate fraud alerts placed on accounts due to their own dumb customer service errors. This says a lot about Verizon’s highly centralized, opaque and immutable fraud department. In the long run, if Verizon continues to empower their fraud department at the expense of their customer service arm, there will be little to no business to protect from fraud lol

This location is a complete scam and an awful representation of the Verizon name. After speaking to Loretta who was so very helpful and informative I decided to switch my plan and order a new phone for my daughter who lives in Arlington. Loretta made sure to order from a “corporate” store so that they would help her with the transfer of information for free. I verified that there wouldn’t be a charge at least 5 times. Well she went last night to pick up the phone and was charged $30. Not only that, it was 6pm so she asked if that was enough time or if she should come back. She was told oh no it’s plenty of time. At exactly 7pm the manager came over and told the employee that the store was closed. He said well this transfer needs finished. The manager said if she already paid then she needs to leave and figure it out. Now not only did she pay for nothing her new phone is not working!!! She can’t make or receive phone calls. I would like to speak to a customer service agent about this matter. And after being on the phone with 3 different Verizon reps today for several hours she now has no phone because they shut it down before contacting her to tell her to power off then back on. Sounds like Marcus at this location needs some customer service training. Reviews say it all!

Anthony the sales floor associate was unwelcoming and unhelpful. I drove from Maryland to Virginia without a cellular device to pick up a phone that I order online. Having driven an hour once I arrived I was greeted as if I didn’t belong there. I told Anthony I was picking up a phone and he looked at me as if I was lying. Once I gave him my order number he said that it wasn’t ready yet and I could come back in 30 minutes. I asked if I could wait in the store and he hesitated and said I guess. He was very dismissive and unhelpful and I received the worst experience.

Marcus aka “the manager” was very rude &intentionally unhelpful to everyone in the store. He was rude to children, elderly, disabled persons, &just people in general. He even yelled at a few customers. Every other staff presented themselves in a proper &appropriate fashion towards customers. Just this one individual in particular will make you never want to step foot in their location.

Was having trouble with my iphone(Verizon service) that was listed as lost/stolen as I could not find the phone. I found the phone and wanted to gift it to my niece but it was still listed as lost/stolen. I went to the Clarendon store and was told to go to Apple to see if they could help. Clarendon Verizon did not offer to call Verizon customer service. We were willing to pay if necessary. We we’re offered no meaningful assistance from staff. Very disappointed ☹️
