My only issue is, every single time you try to call there too see if they have something in (because they’re always running out of milk, cleaning supplies, medicine, etc.) the phone is ALWAYS busy! It’s annoying to not be able to reach the store, then drive all the way there and find they’re still out of something, when a simple phone call would’ve prevented the trip. Many times they’ll tell you they’ll have whatever their out of the following day or the day after that, and will tell you they haven’t got it in yet when you waste your trip, or they’ll say they got it, but it’s in the back and nobody has unpacked the truck delivery yet. It makes you wish the old owner was still there, as this was rarely an issue in the past, but since new owner it seems to be a weekly occurrenceBy Stacey Marie (2 years ago)This store is drastically better than it was before the remodel. It got to the point where I just stooped going to this place. The store was disorganized, merchandise on the floor, nothing where it was supposed to be. When you would walk in the front door you would run right into the checkout lines. On top of that the store felt dingy and dirty. Happy to say all those things have changed for the better. Except for the clutter. Sure is taking a long time to get all there stock put on the shelves. There are 3 or 4 aisles you can’t even really go up and down. It does seem like they are trying to get things right. Finally. Hope this was helpful in some way.By Jason Brewer (4 years ago)All the employees are pretty nice , but the one that’s in there is always outside smoking almost everytime I go up there and that’s like 3 time a week its crazy. The store was just remodeled but when you go in there is always carts all over the place so bad you cant get down the aisles to even look at things . If the store wasn’t ready to be open then they should of opened it if it’s a reck all the time , or maybe hire a 3rd shifter to stock and organize things.By Tiffany Ohmer (4 years ago)I came in the store to buy a couple items. When it was time to check out all three employees were outside smoking. I put the items back and left. Family dollar is just next door. Best retail establishment in town! Was a million times better than that trashy Kmart and I’d rather shop at DG than Kroger but they have a limited inventory so I’m pretty much forced to go to Kroger for most grocery items.
The girls at this dollar store in Versailles Kentucky are the best employees I believe I’ve ever ran across working in public. Everyone has the best attitude they always have a smile and talk to you like you’ve been friends forever if every business was ran with it please like this one the world would be a much better place in my opinion shout out to the girls at the dollar store in Versailles keep smiling and I’ll see you tomorrow LOL
This dollar store is awful. You can never get through the aisles. They have stock everywhere which makes it impossible to shop.
Workers seemed overwhelmed with keeping inventory rotated and stocked on shelves for ez shopping. Aisles are always clogged with pilots of products that employees don’t have the time or help to process.
This is the WORST store I’ve ever been in. Today I went in and besides every isle being blocked by unstocked product, they put Saturdays ad up way before 7:00 p.m. when the system recognizes the savings. When confronting the manager about not honoring the price posted, she refused and was completely rude and unprofessional.
