a year agoGreat experience from beginning to end. We were turning over a rental property during a heat wave. The air conditioning went out and we reached out to them to move the cleaning twice and both times they were understanding and willing to accommodate our schedule. When we couldn’t get the ac running in time to get it cleaned they came anyway and did an AMAZING job. The house and appliances look brand new. My wood floors are gleaming! It couldn’t have been easy but the crew was thorough and went above and beyond what I expected even with the heat. I’m so impressed.5 years agoSmart Touch Cleaning does a fantastic job. They are a very reliable and trustworthy company. I am always so happy to come back home after they clean my apartment because they make everything look impeccably clean. This is the best cleaning service I ever used!! From the moment I called for a quote to the last minute in needing an extra service, they were very accommodating. Hicham even helped me find someone to remove a lot of unwanted stuff in my home. Everyone was professional and they did an amazing job. I got an automated text last Wednesday that they would be coming on Thursday. Nobody showed up. I texted, called, FB Messaged & it is now Monday and i have not had a single response from them. 3 years agoThis place is awesome. My fiance and I rented out the entire hotel for our engagement party and to stay the night in. Haydee was a great host. She met all of our needs. The bartender that is provided by the venue was also great. She was able to keep the lines down and make everyone happy. The space is clean and aesthetically eye pleasing. I will be back!4 years agoThis place is incredible! Such a unique and beautiful venue. They hosted a party for us and provided 2 rooms for out of town guests to stay overnight. The rooms are distinctive and the art is beautiful. Haydee and the rest of the staff are super accommodating and delightful to work with. One of my favorite aspects of their unique business model is that a portion of the proceeds go to the local artists displaying their work. Support your local arts scene and check this place out! We had over 40 people at our event and everyone kept commenting on the beautiful and interesting venue. It’s a hidden gem in downtown Winston-Salem. You will not be disappointed!4 years agoAMAZING PLACE!! I had my wedding reception here in June and stayed in the green room for a few nights beforehand. Haydee is the best to work with! She was so flexible with us and really went above and beyond to help make our reception come together beautifully. Staying in the green room felt like I was in a fairy tale. The Wherehouse Art Hotel is such a unique, hidden gem in Winston-Salem. Highly, highly recommend – for private events or just staying the night, this place is awesome! 🙂4 years agoAttended their first ever Art Mart. It was very interesting, but finding the front door was a real challenge. This place is not clearly marked from the street. Entered the building thru the coffee shop and discovered a hand written sign with an arrow pointing the way. You must be able to climb stairs in order to make use of this space. I did not see an elevator or any sort of handicapped access to this hotel.4 years agoI booked a room here through Air BnB and the whole experience couldn’t have been nicer. The hotel is located above Krankie’s coffee and looked to have several guest rooms. The room I stayed in was big, staged for 3 guests, and full of light. Easy to find and convenient to downtown W-S, I would definitely stay here again.

My mother and I stayed at the Shaffner Inn in January for a long weekend. It was a beautiful experience! The breakfasts were all amazing, delicious, and made so hot and fresh every morning. Even though the Inn is right in the middle of Winston-Salem it has such a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. We spent our morning on what most would consider, the enclosed front porch, which we found out was the “Harp Room,” from our wonderful host, Neil. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the home and so wonderful to talk with. He served us every morning with a wonderful mood and cheery atmosphere. Katie welcomed us the night we arrived and she was wonderful and helpful as well.
We stayed in the Twin City room and we loved being downstairs and out of the way. Only downfall was having to carry our shopping bags down there. We were always offered help though! Which was greatly appreciated! Overall, our stay was incredible and it was lovely having a place so cozy to wake up each morning and have a nice breakfast before starting your day in a new city. I’ll never stay anywhere else in Winston-Salem.
We hosted our baby shower here this past weekend and I can’t rave enough about the entire venue! To start, Kelli was an amazing communicator from the start. She made everything very clear and was super flexible with our preferences. The room itself was so lovely, spacious, and they assisted with all the tables and food setup. Speaking of the food…it was incredible!! I thought it would be good but they surpassed our expectations! We had mini chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits, mini chicken salad and cucumber sandwiches and a bruschetta. Everything was setup so beautifully and the full bar was a hit with our guests! The bar tender even made a signature cocktail named after our baby’s nickname (so cute!) If that’s not enough, they also assisted throughout our shower, serving, helping our guests, cleaning up. Speaking of cleaning, they do basically everything, it was just so wonderful! I can’t say enough about Kelli and her team and I highly recommend The Shaffner Inn as an event venue!!
Also, a few of our out of town guests stayed at the Inn and they could not stop bragging about the rooms, service, and the staff overall. We were so pleased!!!
Stayed a few months ago. From Greensboro and no longer drive at night, in town to enjoy the Haunted walking tour downtown Winston. The house was beautiful, quiet and everyone was so pleasant. Exactly what I needed for the night. Loved being able to walk around the house and see the historic architecture. It was nice surprise that they keep the non-occupied rooms open so I got to see much more of the house. The breakfast was outstanding, staff were professional and so accommodating, wonderful coffee (which is a big selling point for me). Perfect accommodations for my short stay needs, but could easily have stayed for a long trip.
Holy cow wow.. stopped in which is the Saturday before Mother’s Day and was packed however we were not turned away. While many were dressed very fancy they had no issues with my shorts flip flops and T-shirt so everyone is welcomed. The food was amazing and the drinks were best around. I had a Bloody Mary that was next level with BLT highly recommend this place only down fall is the hours I wish they were open all the time but that is selfish on my part. Overal amazing
We visited the restaurant on a Sunday, after church. We arrived a little before 11:00. The staff was pleasant but too busy to provide good service. The food was fine. We both had a cocktail, mine was exceptional! I had a salted Caramel martini. My husband had a Bloody Mary and it was ok. I had to get up and ask the hostess for catsup and salt and pepper. Not as nice as we had anticipated.
