What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Another perfect stay! We are so grateful to the hosts and staff, who clearly are committed to cleanliness and attention to detail; they always provide outstanding service. Both the main house and the cottage (our fav!) are incredibly comfortable and stocked with coffee, water, and goodies. Wonderful location, very cool history of the home, beautiful rooms and decor, easy parking, minutes from I95. We are so lucky that we found MacPherson House! Thank you!!!

  2. My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! The house and our room were so beautiful. Very vintage and romantic. We were obsessed with how comfortable the bed was and how soft the sheets were. There was a coffee, water, and tea bar in the hallway. There was fresh cookies for us too! We were here for a wedding and needed to leave early and they were able to accommodate an earlier breakfast for us. The dining area was so cute and the food was great! It is an old house, so you do have to be respectful of noise! There is a nearby train track, so be mindful of that. We will 100% stay here again if we are in the area!

  3. We had a wonderful stay in cottage out back on our trip to Florida. The rooms were immaculate with a separate bedroom and living room, which was perfect as we were traveling with our son and two small dogs. We were so grateful our pets were welcome. We had an early start to the day and hosts had a wonderful breakfast left in our kitchen with everything you could want including muffins, fruit and more. We had a pleasant dinner to go at a nearby local restaurant recommended to us, that had vegetarian and vegan choices. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a welcome refuge after a long drive and I would gladly stay there again when we are in the area.

  4. We visited while on our trip from NJ back home to FL. Our family stayed in the cottage which was an amazing accommodation for our family of four. It was nice having some separation from our boys for the skating arrangements. In the morning we had a delicious light breakfast in the main house. The property is in a great location, walkable to the downtown area. We really appreciated our stay to help break up our trip. I am also a huge fan of older architecture so I loved this over staying in a boring motel.

  5. We love the MacPherson House! It has become our home away from home when we visit family in the area. It is comfortable, clean, centrally located and the staff is AMAZING- so friendly and helpful! The common spaces are welcoming, the rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed, the breakfasts are delicious and the extras- such as 24/7 coffee bar, snacks, water, etc. are really appreciated.

My husband and I stayed at Pineland Express for almost 6 months while he began the Q course and we were house hunting. This place is AMAZING, and was beyond our expectations in every way. The unit was newly renovated with super nice touches like a dual vanity, large shower and bathroom, granite counter tops, and LVP flooring. It had literally everything we needed to live there such as shelving and hangers in the closets, an in unit washer & dryer, fully stocked kitchen, and housekeeping coming every other week to clean the unit. (They are VERY thorough and this was an absolute highlight.) The king bed was super comfy, there were pre-paid streaming services setup for us, and the fence/gated entrance made it private and safe. If you’re in the area for any reason, short or long term, I would HIGHLY recommend staying here! It beats a hotel in every aspect, and is above and beyond what most Air B&B’s offer as well. Truly top notch, in both accommodations and customer service.

I wish this place existed 10 years ago. At a government rate, you get what is essentially a fully equipped studio apartment with assigned parking in a gated area. You share a wall with one other person (2 apartments per building), and during my 7 week stay, I didn’t hear a single noise from the other resident. Everything in the room is very updated – the shower I had was nicer than any I’ve ever had in any of my houses (2 rain showers, a normal one, and a wand. And the tile is super nice). I like to cook, and it’s usually a huge waste of money to live in a hotel room and only have a microwave, and be forced to eat out. This hotel provides you with a full kitchen (full size fridge, microwave, oven, range, dishwasher, keurig), so you can actually buy groceries and be more frugal. The room comes with a washer and dryer, so you don’t have to deal with getting quarters and leaving your clothes in a communal room, or going to a laundromat. They have cleaners come through (and they are VERY thorough) every 2 weeks. I take it some people would like it more often, but for me, this is the right frequency. The TV is pre set with just about every streaming service, so if you’re like me, and don’t want to put personal account info on the smart TV, this is for you. If you’re military, and you’re there for tdy, they have a policy that allows you to leave your stuff in place for up to 5 days, no charge. Sometimes courses announce that you’ll be somewhere else, and this is a lot easier to deal with than claiming dual lodging. I don’t know if this was a special case, but my stay at this hotel included a membership to the fit4life gym chain. The one on Owen Drive is pretty great, and the manager was very easy to work wit Lastly, Jess – I don’t know what her role is, but she was very communicative about when the cleaners would be there, when my card would be charged, and if they needed in the room for any reason (I.E., maintenance). She was awesome.

I recommend this place to everybody already, and from what I understand, it is very well tailored towards military and first responders. Check it out if you have a stay in the Fayetteville area. This is going to be my new go-to hotel.

*Note: The surrounding area isn’t great, but it never had an impact on my stay. There is a gate code that they change often, and there are cameras all over.

Luxury! It’s a unique lodging experience ! Feels like a luxury apartment with hotel accommodations! The property management is immediately responsive to any concerns! There is a very professional cleaning team that works with your schedule to provide you amazing service ! The property is beautiful and gated for your safety ! I moved in on a last minute notice because I did not have accommodations for one night I thought I would stay for a night and then find another accommodation for my three months in Fayetteville. The next morning I called to ask if I could reserve the place for the entirety of my assignment ! It’s perfect and the owners, the management, the grounds people and the cleaning team are really kind and professional ! Lori B

I recently stayed in the studio for 4.5 months as I too am a healthcare traveler, and it was the best set-up ever. The studio was perfect for me…. completely furnished, fabulously decorated, safe, secure, private, convenient, pleasing and quiet. So much better than a traditional apartment or an extended stay place. The owners are great. They got me checked-in on time when hurricane Florence was bearing down on us and almost everything in town was closed or without power. They make sure everything is right, and they’re available if you need something. They emphasize safety and privacy and responsibility, and they provide wonderful accommodations for their tenants. If I’m ever back in Fayetteville, I’m definitely calling again.

Wonderful year long experience at the Tuscan Villa Cottage!!! I would certainly come again if I were ever in Fayetteville for an extended period of time. Cottage is conveniently located next to plenty of shopping and dining, as well as a 10 minute drive to Ft. Bragg. Neighborhood is quiet and safe and ideal for walking, jogging, and bike riding. As for the cottage itself: Super clean and fully furnished with everything needed including internet access for a longer stay, personal driveway for parking, and a fantastic patio with gazebo and charcoal grill for outdoor BBQs. I highly recommend the Tuscan Villa Cottage for extended stays!!!

Stayed in the cottage for about a week and we absolutely loved it. This is a very clean little home away from home. Pictures don’t do it justice. It is in an upscale and safe area of Fayetteville/Fort Bragg. This two story cottage has a cute stairway that brings you upstairs to a beautiful quiet bedroom. Kitchen has all of the supplies. The owner totally stocked this kitchen with everything you need. I would stay here again anytime.

I’m a travel RN and was looking for a place I could relax at and retreat to on my days off and feel safe. I found this little gem of a place and was so fortunate. I actually stayed in the studio which was absolutely adorable. The owners provided everything I needed except my own person items. It was convenient to everything and yet nestled in such a beautiful neighborhood I could walk on my days off and enjoy the peace. I love it had everything I needed including a washer and dryer. I hope to go back and visit again and stay here. The owners completely respect your privacy but are there if you need anything. Safely is also a priority and I appreciated that. Thanks for the lovely 3 months!

My husband stayed from Nov 9th to Dec 19th 2018. It was very secure, clean well equipped, furnished and comfortable. Very reasonably priced, safe location, close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. He travels for work and this was perfect. Owners very receptive of check in and out and pretty much left him alone (privacy) Would highly recommend staying again or as a long term/short term for military, medical or business. Much much better than a hotel/motel. Deposit was paid promptly after he left. Thanks!
