7 months agoThis was the PERFECT venue to host our 2022 Board Meeting / Holiday party! We hosted about 50 people and brought in catering and there was plenty of room for everyone to conduct both business and casual mingling. Our guests had no trouble with metered parking and the location was perfect as most folks were coming from all areas of Lexington. This space was incredibly impressive and all of our guests were blown away! Highly recommend and we have already planned two meetings for this year as a result of the excellent level of service by the owner in addition to quality of the facilities.7 months agoStaying at this historic mansion in Lexington was truly an unforgettable experience! With the ability to sleep up to 16 guests, it’s the perfect choice for a family vacation or a large group of friends. The location couldn’t be more ideal, as it’s situated in close proximity to downtown, Rupp Arena and only a 10-minute drive from the famous Keeneland racetrack. Everything you need is right at your fingertips!The mansion is not only spacious but also inviting and elegant. The decor is beautiful, and the house is well-equipped with all the modern amenities you’ll need. The host is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. It’s also a great venue for events.
Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Lexington. Don’t even think about staying anywhere else!

With so many bedrooms this is a great value, very luxurious, and would be a great place to host a evening party of weekend gathering for locals.

What a place! There was 8 of us on our trip and we absolutely loved it. The pool room – tv room and bar gave us so much space to lounge around and watch some football for a great Saturday afternoon. Restaurants and bars are walkable as well. I highly recommend staying at the Bourbon Hous…Cheers!
Gorgeous design. Dynamite location. Wonderfully furnished. Completely renovated historic building which feels clean and hip. Walk-able to bars, restaurants, and the UK social scene. We did a guy’s weekend here and had a ball. Refined space, yet able to host a party – open spaces, built-in audio system, pool table, big screen TVs everywhere (one with Mario Kart 64!). Perfect space for a couples/family/group gathering (yet still able to sneak off to the comfort of your own room/ bathroom). Will stay here again – this place is awesome!
Bourbon Hous is an incredible place to use as home base for a trip to Lexington/UK/Bourbon Trail. I stayed Aug ‘21, very well appointed, it’s a historic conversion with addition, the history is really cool. Brian the owner is a great communicator and a fantastic host. Easy walk to downtown, UK, there’s a walk up liquor store across the street that’s interesting and convenient. Sonos audio system, fully stocked bar, so much more. Our group of 7 guys were comfortable and loved the late night billiards. Enjoy!
We rented Bourbon Hous for my groomsmen and their significant others to stay in during our wedding weekend in September 2021. Each night, Thursday through Saturday, various wedding guests would come by the house to hang out as the after-party spot and everyone had a blast! The living room, bar area and pool room are great gathering spaces complete with an N64 and house speaker system, not to mention the bedrooms are clean and large, beds are comfortable and each has its own bathroom. Brian, the owner and host, was responsive, accommodating and went out of his way to ensure our stay was memorable. He and his team did a fantastic job modernizing this beautiful, historic property into a unique rental. The house was clean upon check-in and as the name suggests, the bar was stocked with some of KY’s finest. If you’re looking for a classy, luxurious and fun place to stay near downtown Lexington for a group, look no further! Support this local business owner and stay at Bourbon Hous!
We don’t have enough amazing things to say about The Bourbon Hous!!! Brian & Leslie are simply amazing. We rented the house for our wedding week, and it did not disappoint! We hosted a “bourbon & brunch”, after party, and it was the perfect get ready spot for my girls and I on the morning of the wedding!
All the bedrooms are large & spacious, provided privacy for all guests and allowed for everyone to be comfortable but all under 1 roof which we loved. Brian even was able to recommend a bartender who was amazing and set up/cleaned up the bar for our after party.
Brian & Leslie provided excellent communication and top notch service to all of our needs. They were extremely flexible, allowed us to check-in early and overall provided an amazing experience not only to us but to all of our guests. I would give Bourbon Hous 10 stars if I could!!! You will not regret your stay!
