2 months agoI liked you parked on the same floor as your condo. It was very clean and peaceful. The pool was beautiful at night with the colorful lights. It had grills and picnic tables It was walking distance from the Arlington music hall which was why I booked there to start with. The streets felt safe. There were police patrolling all night. We would definitely stay there again2 months agoBeautiful property close to so many fun things to do with my family. The room had everything we needed and was gorgeous and clean. The virtual check in and all the added security made us feel extremely safe and we can’t wait to come back!!!4 months agoWish I had stayed longer! The location is amazing, with delicious food and things to do in walking distance. The place itself is immaculate, everything is provided for and the costumer service is legit 10000000/5. I cannot express what a wonderful experience it had been with just words honestly. I’m looking forward to going back just to stay at this place in the near future. Texas never felt so homey and luxurious.4 months agoThe communication was excellent. The check-in instructions were crystal clear. The apartment was clean and well stocked. And when I needed to speak to someone during the booking process there was a human on the other end of the phone. Can’t ask for much more than that.4 months agoRoom was clean and decent. Hallways were kinda sketchy had some odd smells floating around Room clean and decent and it was close to Arlington Music Hall for the Stryper show so you couldn’t beat that. Just a few things you have to do to gain access to building

6 years agoI loved it. I called booked a room with two beds. Very clean and welcoming. Terri has a goofy sense of humor that I loved! He gave us brief background of the inn, restrooms are clean and beds are so comfortable. They were so sweet and provided me with a to go yogurt as I was rushing out the door for graduation. I highly recommend.3 years agoThey treat you like family from the start. Terry is the perfect host! Louise is an absolute delight. If you want to be treated like a favorite relative then this is the place for you! The accomodations are quite nice. The area is beautiful and within walking distance of some really neat activities and eateries. I cannot say enough about this place! We loved it!3 years agoI lived here in 1990 before the hotel was restored. The Grahams have transformed it into the best version of itself. The place is full of history from as far back as 1894. The current owners are the very best of people and will take excellent care of you. If I was visiting town for a sports event or a convention this would be my first choice to stay at.6 years agoGreat value! Very home-like atmosphere, yet maintains professionalism as well. The innkeepers are sweet couple who live in another building on property. Upon check-in, you get physical keys (one to a shared back door and one to your room) and access to mini fridges filled with soda, water, beer, and wine. In the upstairs common area is a Keurig station with coffee, tea, and cocoa. The rooms are upscale (lots of hardwood), fully updated, and clean. There were robes in the closet and full-sized toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and face wash in the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable.Having plenty of off-street parking was a great amenity in such a busy part of town. Easy walking distance to the University of Texas at Arlington, and a short drive to the stadiums.
Breakfast is included and was delicious. Coffee, juice, fresh fruit, bacon, and homemade breakfast casserole was served family style at a table set for six. They will cater to any special dietary needs as requested!

5 years agoTwo of the best owners I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The room was huge yet intimate and cozy. The morning breakfast was an amazing corse of California style breakfast tacos and the owner was willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions if we had any. Me and my wife are making this B&B our anniversary tradition.

Overall, this was a lovely place to meet friends for a reunion. The property is charming. The courtyard and outdoor seating area were so lovely and inviting. The staff was courteous, helpful and had wonderful attitudes. We had several meals at the restaurant and overall enjoyed the selections. The meals were overpriced for the quality, but the ambiance lent itself to me being willing to spend the money on the meals.
What I really want to convey is how sad it seems to me to have such a wonderful property and allow it to be in the state of disrepair this place was. If the manager, or perhaps even the housekeeping manager were to simply walk through each room and inspect it for things that needed repair, and then actually do them, this would definitely be a top rated bed and breakfast. I know it’s an older building, which is a significant part of its charm – but fixing the poorly draining shower, scrubbing the mold from the grout, replacing light bulbs in the bathroom mirror – items of maintenance, would go such a long way to bringing this hotel back to the top notch establishment that it once was.
My pillow case and comforter were both stained with dirt – a fact that I discovered the morning after I slept in them. Made me wonder if the sheets had been changed between the last guest and myself.
I do think I will return to The Sanford House again, if given the opportunity. The price of rooms, meals, bar items should make it a top tier stay. Hopefully some love and attention to the property can help make that happen.
This place was absolutely amazing to begin with. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I stayed for my birthday and although I’m local, this felt like a vacation. The food and drinks were 5 stars ! I had breakfast, lunch and breakfast and had no complaints. I wasn’t able to get into the spa so BOOK EARLY but overall I can’t wait to come back ! High recommend! 10/10
Stayed in the Vivaldi room, it was clean and spacious with a desk and a king size bed. There was plenty of room to move around without tripping on anything. The only draw back is that the walls are thin so the next room showering and talking in the hallway was noticed. The staff checking in and out was fantastic, the process was nice and keyless entry to both the room and the after hours access was one less thing to have to keep up with. I was travelling as a single person, therefore, parking and neighborhood become a concern after dark, neither were an issue during my visit. The location is 5 minutes to ATT Stadium, 7 minutes to Choctaw Ballpark and 9 minutes to the Convention center…all of which I visited while I was there. I also dined in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Overall…I will be checking availability for my next trip to Arlington.
Attended a baby shower there so didn’t get to see the rooms but I’m sure they are charming! The grounds itself are very quaint and well kept. I would have loved to learn about the spa and possibly do a staycation there!
The Sanford House I feel is an amazing hidden gem for the best brunch! My recent visit there was nothing short of amazing with great food and service. Jacob was the absolute best at making sure we were taken care of! This is definitely my go-to spot now.
