What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Like most grocery stores in “our” area, this store is under served compared to Krogers in “their” neighborhood. Shelves are sparse and lines are long. It seems as if corporate/management have given up on this store.

Maybe its the pandemic but I shop at other Krogers (Scottsdale/N.Decatur Rd) and it’s so nice in those stores.

    EDIT: Updating and warning.

Be very cautious. This store is selling Kroger money orders….but Kroger’s not cashing ANY money orders. Also they’re hard to cash at other cash spots. Why would Kroger sell the money orders and not honor them when it’s time to cash them? This is a scam. This is mostly happening in Black/Middle class neighborhoods.

These stores / store managers are enforcing this no money order policy (even the ones they sell) while still selling these useless money orders.

The money order was sold to a client at the Kroger on Cascade Road which will not honor the money order.

The following Kroger stores also will not honor their Kroger money orders (or any money order)

Flat Shoals – Store: #475 Manager: Mr. Mongo
Wesley Chappel – Store: #375 Manager: Erica Walker
    S. Harrison – Store: #354 Manager: Edward Orr
Memorial Dr – Store: #303 Manager: Ms Nadja
    N. Decatur Rd – Store: #459 Manager: Tommy Gladen

Kroger should not issue anymore money orders until this is resolve. Or there should be a strict warning from the cashier before selling these useless things.

  2. This store is TERRIBLE. I refuse to shop here again. I see why I NEVER stop here. They are forever selling EXPIRED MERCHANDISE!!! They have items on the shelves dated all the way back to 2021 and we are in 2022 approaching 2023 in a couple of days. This is LAZY BUSINESS. I’m most definitely calling corporate. Then to make matters worse , customer service SUCKS HERE. I won’t be returning!

  3. I stop by Kroger to pick up a eight piece fried chicken. The only chicken they had was the one in the warmer once I got home, I realize the chicken was burnt and fried in old dark oil. I was very disappointed. We had dinner with sides, and no meat. I spoke with the manager the next day I had taken pictures of the chicken as well yet as brought in my receipt she did give me a refund with a $10 gift card. I do appreciate that for making it right.

  4. I come to this location for the deli. Their lunch and dinner menu items are always hot and delicious Plus The daily staff provide great customer service. However the security guard could probably better detect possible thieves if he was not too busy macking on the women that walk by instead of watching the registers in front of him and then accusing people of not paying for their items. Do Better.

  5. The Farrington Road location in Lithonia is the absolute worst place to do curbside pickup, second to last time I was approached by a young Walmart worker after checking in, she wanted to know if I was the delivery guy?? No I’m waiting for my order, after 20 mins I walked in where a young lady told me someone will be right out and to go sit in the car after about 10 minutes she came out and asked me if I got my order I did not. She went in to pull my order duration 33 minutes. The very last time I ordered some products after 20 minutes I saw one of the young Walmart kids in the parking lot and I asked him about the individuals bringing out the products he had no clue, I tried calling the number on the pick up sign and it was only a full mailbox. I canceled my order on the app which is still pending two days later I will never come here again for curbside . They have these young employees standing around on their phones and not doing what they’re supposed to do.
