a week agoI was looking for an item which should have been an easy find. When I couldn’t find it, I asked 3 different employees and none if them offered any assistance. Another shopper heard me ask and knew where the item was. The best answer I got from an employee was “I dunno”. I think corporations need to use “secret shoppers”, and weed out the poor employees.3 months agoTrashy. Not at all like other Krogers in nicer neighborhoods. I didn’t know a store could just leave tobacco chew unattended and unmonitored on the manager’s special rack for kids to get into.4 months agoI have gone to this location with a group of seniors, 1-2x a week for 6 years. We go here in the morning, from about 10am to 11:30, and the occasional afternoon now; do I can’t speak about other times of day. I have grown to like this store and many people I know prefer it because it is not as large and spread out like Westborn, which tires some seniors out. I read some of the comments here and there have been improvements. Carts are readily available including the smaller ones. The produce section is good, and they have added new refrigerators to this section. I always find what I am looking for here. I do know some people who specifically prefer this store for dairy items such as eggs and milk as they feel it is fresher than other stores. I always use self checkout, the lines have decreased and it’s fast every time once you understand how to use it (those who use checkout have complained about the wait, I have never felt that the few times I used these lanes). They have returned the benches to sit on by the exit that were removed during the pandemic, which is good for older people; many stores haven’t replaced them and there are people who won’t go to those stores because they can’t stand a long time waiting for their ride. The store varies in how busy it is but I feel I can get my shopping done pretty fast if I need to.a week agoNeed better cashiers. Most of them are rude for no reason. Horrible customer service. This is the closest Kroger to my house but I would rather drive to west Dearborn just because of the attitudes I usually deal with at checkout. Unnecessary!a month agoDON’T EVEN BOTHER CALLING IN TO TALK TO ANYONE REGARDING ANYTHING..THEY WILL NOT ANSWER. THEY AUTOMATICALLY PUT YOU ON HOLD WITHOUT SAYING HELLO FIRST.. THEN LEAVE YOU THERE UNTIL THEY’RE PROMPTED TO ANSWER. THEN AGAIN PUT YOU ON HOLD WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. THIS WENT ON REPEATEDLY FOR OVER 13 MINUTES…AT 8:45 PM ON A SUNDAY NIGHT!! WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS STORE & CUSTOMER SERVICE?? Y’ALL NEED TO TIGHTEN UP!!

a month agoMs. Lisa in produce made my day! Thank you again Ms. Lisa for your kindness and your time assisting me this morning . I’m writing this excellent update and using Ms. Lisa’s name with prior permission. Myself and our community appreciate you and your co team members for your dedication and hard work. I hadn’t thought of doing any updates to my prior reviews here on Google they were not so good .I walked in and over to produce and my mind was blown away! Ms.Lisa has it looking as if I stepped into a food magazine! Every single thing looked so fresh I didn’t want to stop staring at it!
Rest of store looked clean. Some shelf restocking needed but other than that it is looking a lot better!

a month agoStaff was very friendly and lines weren’t too long because they had a few lanes open, wish my formula was there but they had one he could use! Also veggies looked very clean and fresh wasn’t alot but what was there was good quality4 months agoEncountered an elderly woman attempting to shop for produce, yet could not get high enough to reach the produce bags. She stood less than 5ft. tall, said she suffers with arthritis, and asked if I could reach up for her to have a bag.Normally produce bags should be located throughout the produce department, and at heights that are accessible for all. Customer service was too busy to take the complaint. And later, would not even answer their phone.

3 weeks agoThey are way too rude & unprofessional @ this location one of the mangers came out super rude which was very unprofessional had an attitude she was actually worse then the cashier too sad.Krogers thus far is actually one of myfavorite groceries shopping centers Not this the location though…And the same exact manger that I am referring too I literally caught her giving me this very hateful evil look as if she wanted to try something with me…I pray demons Away on a daily so.
2 months agoI was in self checkout and a man with a baby left the store without paying. An old man next to me said oh well he was waiting on the cashier to help and she never came. While we are watching the guy put the baby and most of the groceries in the car the old man next to me did the same thing. SAD. But security should have been called. Not enough floating cashiers to help with self chechout.

You need more employees! The workers all look too busy and understaffed – you can’t even staff the second U Scan cell so the line isn’t going across the entire store? The meat counter has one employee whose expected to do everything 5 used to? The employees are good, they need competent management who gives them enough help. This place is a joke rn
I absolutely love shopping at this Kroger store. It’s clean, well organized, usually well stocked and offers great clearance items periodically. However, there is another reason that I enjoy shopping here and that is the pleasant employees who work there. One in particular, Karen, in the deli/cheese area, is absolutely amazing! She is aways cheerful & extremely helpful, greeting me with a smile and asking if she can help me find anything. It’s not usual for me to purchase more than I intended to, as she points out special deals that I may not have noticed. She certainly sets the bar high for excellent customer service. I hope that the store manager reads these reviews & knows how lucky they are to have someone of this caliber representing Kroger.
There is something wrong with the store management. I am leaving this review hoping they will address the staffing issue. I frequently have to wait for 15 minutes to check out. And today I really have had it, waiting over 30 minutes and counting to check out in the self help aisle, absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable, how will Kroger compensate me for my time and hundreds of other shopppers? Waiting in line to check out is time wasted for your customer, time is money I have better things to do than spending over 30 minutes waiting to pay for grocery
This location is usually very clean and tidy. The one big complaint is that they have a handle that is missing on the refrigerator door where the yogurt is kept. It has been missing for several weeks. Also I have found a lot of expired yogurt still on the shelf.
How is there a single good review of this store? It’s quite literally the worst grocery store on the planet. Lines are forever long, half of the self checkout lanes are off always. The machines suck. If it wasn’t less than 2 minutes from my house I’d never go here.
