What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. When I first enrolled into the program the clean up was good and I have had it for more than 6 months; cleaning was great and workers would pay attention to everything but lately quality is getting terrible not sure how they vacuum or clean the inside of my car. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. On the pictures I attached my mats were cleaned which really they just get them sprayed but no bushing or anything. And vacuum well you can see how much small debris was left.

    Update- cleaning still terrible

  2. Very much overly priced, left my car dirty after 36 dollars for a drive thru war wash.. every tire rim had dirt and debris the inside still had a drink spillage marks on dash. Re wash or give me back my hard earned money.

Follow up a week later…. Chris the mgr called me and was extremely nice offered to correct the issues. Went back and I’d like to say I was so much more happy… and special shout out to David on the interior cleaning line he made sure I was happy! Thank you Chris & David! 😊

  3. They put so much chemicals and those heavy foam cleaning clothes when washing the cars. This is the 3r time in this year I take it there, and had never left very happy with their service and this last time my car left this place with very noticeable little scratches all over in the roof, front and back, not much on the sides. They said that after several washes the cars start looking like that (my Family and I have had cars for years and never seen this before) and my car is 7 y.o and has always kept it in a very good shape. Another reason he gave me is that someone might have washed it and buff it hard. Well, of course it’s what he says and what I say. I take my car to these car washes because I don’t have time to wash it myself, which I’d prefer.
But what did he suggest?????? To take it to the Herndon location for a ceramic coating for $70.00, yeah right!!!!
The inside cleaning is port also, they do it so fast that it’s never a satisfying service, windows still look dirty and not well cleaned. Very poor service AND I DONT RECOMMEND FLAGSHIP CAR WASH.

  4. I originally had a glowing review for Flagship One Loudoun from when it first opened not too long ago. We also had the Flagship Unlimited monthly subscription for a while before canceling. In the beginning, they really did a decent job with the cleaning for our car, both inside and out.

Unfortunately, I can no longer in good faith recommend this business, and we really gave them a fair chance to prove otherwise.

The exterior wash is fine, we never really had a problem personally, but I’ve heard of recent incidents where certain cars got damaged while in the tunnel. Flagship would offer to help out those involved but then allegedly not follow through. If this is true, then add that to the list of issues with this company.

Our problems lie with the customer service and the interior cleaning. On each visit, we always opted for the Flagship cleaning, which is the best package they offer. I have to say, they did an absolute lazy job vacuuming and cleaning the interior. There were still dirt on the seats and the mats. This was a Sunday afternoon and not very busy to justify the work they did. And let me reiterate, this has been the case on each consecutive visit, with us thinking that they’ll do a better job next time.

Also, on our most recent visit, I noticed they did not clean the interior of our trunk storage area. We have a Highlander SUV, and in the past they always cleaned it without us asking. When I approached someone about it, they claimed that I had to “open the trunk for them” so they’ll clean it. What a confusing thing to say. First of all, that was never an issue before. Secondly, just behind us, the service workers opened the trunk of a Mercedes and cleaned it without intervention from the owner. What’s the deal with this?

Apparently, I’m not the only one experiencing this level of dissatisfaction with Flagship. Judging by the reviews, there have been several similar issues spanning many many months. That means that regardless of all the dissatisfied customer reviews, they’ll simply respond with a “sorry about that, please contact us to fix this problem” and not actually do anything to improve the customer experience.

To whoever is working there in charge of reading these reviews: instead of offering people to contact your business to rectify the situation, PLEASE instead make improvements to your services. Whether that involves retraining your employees, providing better equipment, or whatever the case is, I think everyone would appreciate you all getting it right CONSISTENTLY rather than offering a bandaid after the fact.

  5. Brought in my Atlas and the back seat was a mess after a road trip with 2 kids. Asked if I could show the manager first to make sure they could get stains out. They did a better job than I expected, Chris and his team are the best.

I have been a member of their club for a year, I pay $75 a month for the top of the line interior and exterior cleaning and I am always disappointed with their service but I have always given the benefit of the doubt to go back and try again.

Exterior – the outside of my SUV is now scratched from their washers, be warned you will get your vehicle scratched. They also did a terrible job of wiping down the exterior leaving my car actually looking worse than it did before I got it washed from the wax drying on the surface.

Interior – it’s inconsistent and sloppily done for a $75 job. I just went through their wash today and it looks like they barely even put any effort into cleaning the inside of the vehicle.

I try to support local chains and I have used Flagship at other locations and have been satisfied but beware if this location, they are not what they used to be and I am very disappointed.

Save your money and frustration and do it yourself or find another place. They won’t be taking my money anymore.

I did the full interior/exterior service. I noticed immediately that it was obviously not thoroughly cleaned, but the guy who was finishing up the interior was coughing a ton and not covering his mouth so I didn’t ask him about it. The front grill had dirt/bugs all over it, there was dust all over the interior dash, and my rubber floor mats were pooled with muddy soapy water that literally splashed when I got in.

As I pulled out I went to use my back wipers to clear the water and all of that mud came out and dropped down the tailgate of my car.

I did a live chat with customer service who offered either a replacement wash or a refund, and I asked for a refund. When it hadn’t posted after a few days I emailed the location directly. I explained what happened and sent pictures. The manager replied that he doesn’t do refunds and I should have said something then.

I disputed with my credit card and will not be back.

The prices at this car wash has gone up a lot since the new owners took over the car wash. The owners say it is because they have put new equipment in the wash bay. This weekend I went in at 8:15am Saturday morning and 1:00 pm Sunday. Both time the car didn’t get wash because both times the wash bay was shut down. Only service they was offering was interior cleaning. Why would I pay to have the inside clean, if the outside is not clean? You would think with better equipment and higher prices this place charges. I could get my car wash, when is convenient for me and when I am off work. I don’t went the car washed when I can’t enjoy a clean car because I am at work.

    2023 Edit

2018 Old Review: This is the best car wash your money can buy, aside from just doing it yourself at home. Never a let down and always very consistent work. Staff is very friendly.

2023 New Review: Once Flagship purchased this car wash, it’s gone downhill, and everyone knows it. Quality control? Nonexistent. After a full exterior/interior cleaning, my front bumper was still covered with bugs. I had to ask an employee to clean it again. All door sills, wheels, wheel wells, mud flaps, and running rails were covered in mud and road dirt, and I watched as the car moved down the line and no one attempted to clean them. So rather than waste my time trying to get someone to clean something that’s obviously an acceptable level of dirty, I went home and spent 2 hours cleaning my car to the old Station Auto Wash standard. (I did not take any photos, I was just extremely annoyed when I got home and started cleaning.)

As you can see in these photos, something was sprayed on my rear doors. I went back, one employee said it was windex, and another had no idea. They tried to remove the overspray, but it’s still visible. Manager filled out a damage report and I’m waiting to hear back.

Another bone I have to pick: Flagship publicly announced they would still accept Station Auto Wash gift cards for the first year after their monopoly takeover. Yet every time I visited last year, the system was always “down” so they refused to process them. And now, they just don’t accept them.

Still awesome even with new management. Some of these recent reviews seem harsh, I don’t know what folks expect for a $39 car wash. Is it spotless, no. Is it a good value and better than what I can do myself, absolutely. I’ll take a 90% solution for the price and convenience.

Edit: 7/2023 – Docking a star – 13% price hike and longer lines than before, I’ve only ever seen one of the two detail lanes open. There is always an employee at the self serve kiosk pushing their unlimited service.

I really enjoy Flagship! It’s the only car wash I have found that really gets my cars clean! The employees are friendly as well and love the free vacuums, and the microfiber towels that are available to use to really detail the car which is really what won me over! I have referred Flagship to everyone I know and have heard great feedback from them as well! I wouldn’t change a thing!

The Unlimited Car Wash membership is a scam, it auto charges your credit card month after month at increasing rates, without ever giving you notice and even if you never authorized it to renew every month. They make it hard to cancel. And despite the lame response, they do NOT take concerns seriously because when I asked the person at the call center to refund my money, she said they have a no refund policy. Scam for sure. Avoid!!

Good evening neighbors, I would like to share a horrible and scary experience my husband encounter at the Flagship by 43324 Junction Plaza, Ashburn, VA 20147.

What started like a regular day, he went to flagship to get a car wash for his car since it was already due. the staff who guided him to the tunnel of the wash did not assist him like he should, did not make sure if he has his car was in neutral or whatsoever, did not give him the thumbs up to make sure he was aligned properly. He did not put so much attention to it since this was not his first time using a car wash. My husband did his best to follow with his knowledge. Not even 200ft the car got off him the trail and thanks to my husband he was able to get back in the trail and avoid any more damage.

We have talked to the manager, he has not done any right for us. We reached the corporate and basically told us that he was at fault, refused to shared the video footage. Even after the manage who admitted it was their fault, it was their fault because the employee who was supposed to load the car was not paying attention.

During this whole mess we met another woman at the same location when we went back to find a solution, and she unfortunately had a worst experience, the car wash broke her side mirror and the corporate is saying it was her fault.

We need a solution and would like this fix, apparently is nor the first time this happen and we want other people be aware of this so they don’t have to go through this.

This car wash has a lot to be desired since it’s transitioned over to flagship ownership. Half the vacuums are not enabled for customers and the car wash itself seems less efficient than the one 10 minutes down the road at their bigger facility at one Loudon. No tire shine at this one either.

The old car wash that was here was much better. This one is all self-serve so you have to clean the interior yourself. Today I finally decided to give it a shot. The car wash itself is pretty good, but when it comes to self serve towel dry and vacuuming the front service bays were full and the back was either blocked off or had no towels.
