We had a great experience for years, but when it’s bad it’s really bad, our beautiful 12yr old long haired dog was shaved to the skin on her body, leaving her head and tail hair untouched without permission by a “new stylist”, even though we booked her normal one. No one supervised her, no one stopped her. She didn’t even do it well, it looks like she was mauled by a razor. Since coming home our little doggy has been hiding in the corner and limping around the house, I’m assuming she struggled given the dig marks all over her body. My wife and I are distraught. We just cannot understand someone could do this and have the audacity to try and pass it off as an honest effort at grooming by an animal lover. Store is also always poorly stocked. Horrible customer service. *Update* I called the store and after waiting an extended amount of time, Patrick answered and told me that the cashier’s name is Hazel.By Andron McElveen (2 weeks ago)I reluctantly went to petsmart to buy some more fish for my 55 gallon tank, I was reluctant because every time I buy fish from not just this store but any petsmart I lose all the fish usually overnight and adding them to my existing community of fish I have actually lost all my fish. Now I had to go get my dog because I called to check on my dog and they said that they were going to kill my dog because he was not getting along with people I thought this was a no-kill shelter. But when I went to pick him up he was getting along well with the other staff members but they had him locked in a cage with the vicious dogs. When I received my dog back he will not eat. My dogs were lost or stolen, and they helped me search for them.By Ve Medlin (4 months ago)After having a friend bring home a dog with parvo from the Guilford County Animal Shelter which spread to our other dog, we became really cautious about going there seeing as how they assured me that they have their dogs checked by veterinarians before adopting them. It seemed kind of sketchy to me. Anyway, my friend and I kept going to the Guilford County Animal Shelter trying to find a dog that would work with our needs, and they seemed nice towards us until today when they told us that we were put on their “Do not adopt” list for reasons that we did not realize that one could be put on a “Do not adopt” list. They never gave us a warning. They never explained this list to us. They just expected us to know the qualifications for being placed on this list. I guess that they just figured that everyone is psychic and should know these things. This final experience was the last straw when it came to our ever going to the animal shelter again. I mean, we were more than gracious with them. We were more than gracious with them, and they basically spit in our faces. Not only will we not be going back to an animal shelter, but we will encourage others not to adopt from them either. I have no qualms with doing so either.By Jon Elliott (a week ago)

My Gordy went to get groomed here and he came out so soft and smelling so good! He had a smile on his face the whole ride home, like he knew just how handsome he was. He went in nervous but came out seeming confident and comfortable which was lovely to see and shows how nicely they treated him 🙂

Made the trip to Greensboro PetSmart to look for a frog as a pet option for my oldest grandchild. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable about all the frogs and lizards we specifically regarding entry level ownership. He was able to show the easiest frogs and lizards and habitats. We didn’t discuss the other more unusual pets such as snakes and spiders. We did buy some other things while at the store and check out was quick and easy. We enjoy the store environment that allows you to be able to bring your pet as well.
Good pet store to shop. Staff is helpful. Fish section could stand some improving but its ok. I usually go to a fish and supply store for my aquarium needs anyway.
Had my 3 dogs groomed on Tuesday. Took them out today n got quite a few compliments how well groomed they were. Shout out to Ms. Crystal for a great job!
