What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Super cool place we was first timers and will definitely be back wasn’t to crowded for a Sunday and was not really to expensive at all
Snacks and soda available and lots of TVs and was cool to watch the game while we played so that was nice too so we will be back and we had loads of fun thanks guys !!!!!

  2. Honestly I was very excited to hit here and it went down hill the first time I went in. The people aren’t the kindest when you ask simple questions. The batting machines are fine with the exception of a few bad pitches. What really concerns me is there’s nowhere to warm up because even if you are a platinum batting machine member you are not allowed to warm up in the side cages and if you want to you have to purchase a separate lane every time. Everyone knows that the key to a good work out is it good warm-up I think this is something that they should start incorporating to their platinum/unlimited batting cage package.

  3. I was literally the first customer at this D-Bat facility 2 1/2+ years ago. It is one of the nicest places to train in the area. I was so happy to finally have something like this in the city I was born in—Canton, Ohio even though I drive a half an hour to get there. I hit every week on average. I have the platinum membership which is the most expensive membership for unlimited pitches in the machine. I loved using the HitTrax technology in the cage. When properly calibrated, it is an invaluable tool to improve and monitor your hitting progress instantly. I wish this existed when I was a kid. I’ve hit 10s of thousands of baseballs with it. I even topped the national leaderboards for maximum distance and fastest exit velocity. The #1 ranking lists the facility and city along with my name on the leaderboards, so I figured the facility would be happy for the free advertisement to potentially attract more business. Over the summer, the people who work for HitTrax came to recalibrate it after the company partnered with MLB. Now it doesn’t work properly anymore and no longer reads any hit over 300 feet. I take bp on real fields too so I know it was calibrated accurately before for hitting distance. Why would they target this specific facility and place a governor on the technology when other locations aren’t restricted? Well I believe it is done intentionally because they no longer want me (a non pro baseball player) hitting harder and further than current MLB players, minor leaguers, college superstars, indy pros or the best hitters working out at the Driveline facility, which is a premier training location for MLB players. I told management about this and they didn’t seem to care and showed no indication of doing anything about it. I feel upset and disrespected by all of this. A staff member said he didn’t know what HitTrax did to recalibrate the technology, but confirmed it happened.

I hate to write a mixed review because I like this place. The other problem is the D-Bat baseballs aren’t replaced as often as they should be. This makes a huge difference in your hitting experience. The HitTrax cage (#13) should have the balls replaced twice as often because it is twice the credits to use it. Even if you use a different cage you need to have newer balls otherwise you’re not getting what you pay for. You’re getting balls with rips, gashes and torn stitches. These balls come out of the machine wildly and are more likely to hit the ground or go over your head. Messed up baseballs don’t read well with the HitTrax technology either. I’ve noticed the balls get replaced about every 3 or 4 months. My overall hitting experience is much better in the first month with new balls. I’ve only ever hit in the cages on my own so I can’t speak for any of the instructors, but they do seem mindful of baseball and a worthwhile resource to tap into to improve your game.

  4. I went in on a Saturday and couldn’t believe how empty it was. Great facilities! Lots of options. Only rated four stars because I thought it was a little expensive.

  5. Great place to raise your kid in baseball or softball. Professional and a lot cheaper if you just remain a member. They only have 4 batting machines though and like 12 lanes of just T ball stands, so if the get more machines then I’ll give 5 stars.

It wasn’t at all what I expected and it was great. Had the whole place to ourselves so we got a ton of practice in! Even with 5 of us we all got plenty of time to play.

Clean. Decent facility for pitching and hitting. Limited room for much else. Nice to have it here!

Mike and his staff are First class – facility is clean and up-kept. They have all the training tools you need. The staff there offers a variety of lesson options. I have had a pitcher and now a catcher/ hitter that use this facility. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. 10star if I could

I’ve been participating in the VIP pitching program ran by Mike Grady and his staff and I am really enjoying it. There are multiple coaches in the facility while guys are working out. So, they are able to pay close attention to detail while guys are pitching. On the other side you have a weight room. With coaches that push you to get better. Then, on top of it the facility has top equipment. With 3 radar guns on ever mound. And multiple rapsodos.

Incredible instruction and organized clean facility. Great place for baseball training. There is a reason boys come hours to train here.
