- Reviews:I first started doing laser hair removal at SEV Laser. I only had 3 sessions with them: 11|13|20, 12|21|20 & 2|3|21. I purchased a 6 session package for full body. My laser technician was Angelica who was a sweet girl but clearly didn’t know what she was doing. I know 3 sessions are insufficient to determine the efficiency of the laser hair removal treatments, but I will say that I saw no improvement at all within those 3 sessions. I did not even feel any pain during any of my sessions & this is a great indicator that the laser settings are way too low to the point where you’re wasting your money. Also, my sessions were rushed & a lot of areas were missed. A laser hair removal session for full body (head to toe) should be taking a minimum of an hour & that’s still somewhat rushed. An actual full body session should be taking around 1 hour & 15-30 minutes. When your full body session takes the actual amount needed in order to guarantee efficiency a little more after each session, that’s when you know that your laser technician is the best & actually takes their time doing your session. That’s when you will see improvement after each session & it only gets better after each session that you go to. If you want to waste your money & time, SEV Laser is the perfect place for you because they will literally start you at an extremely low joules setting & either keep it at the same setting or lower the setting for your next session. They do the opposite of what a laser place should be doing which is to start you at a minimum of 16J (joules) for your very first session & increase it by 2 for every session that you attend. I was coming here right around the peak of COVID & they had this ridiculous policy where if you were more than 15 minutes early for your appointment, they would have you wait outside even though they had enough space in there & literally 1-2 people (besides the front desk employees). You would have to wait outside of the building, couldn’t be inside the building at all. I found a much better place a few weeks after my last session at SEV Laser & I couldn’t be happier. My new laser place consists of laser technicians who are experienced & knowledgeable. Also, their prices are unbeatable. Nobody can convince me that their laser place has better machines, technicians & definitely, not better prices. I’m not disclosing the name of my new laser spot for obvious reasons. When I first started going to the new laser hair removal spot that I found, they told me to ask SEV Laser for the laser settings that they used on me for each session. Upon their findings, they were shocked to see that SEV Laser was using the most lowest setting & lowering the laser settings for each session. They advised me to get my money back from them. SEV Laser had already refunded me for the full amount that I paid for my 6 session package without me even asking for a refund because they knew themselves that they were ripping me off.By Sirin G. I wish I could remember the woman’s name who did my laser treatment that day because she honestly turned my entire day around. She was super friendly and personable and just had a really positive vibe. The laser appointment was quick as usual (underarms tend to only be like 5 min) and she did an excellent job with that. I’m 5 treatments in and am definitely noticing a difference. When I entered , there was no representative available to greet me. By the time I checked in, 10-15 min later, other clients came after waiting in the seated area. The representatives of the front desk were having personal conversations in the back. I’ve been going to Laser Infinity Spa for the past year for underarm hair removal so I feel I have a very good sense of how they operate. I’ve gone consistently at different times and days of the week on a regular 8 week schedule and every session I’ve had had been great. The techs are extremely professional and efficient, making sure you’re comfortable and in and out of the room. The ladies managing reception and appointments have always been polite and try to work around my schedule whenever I needed to reschedule.
I’m now finishing my underarm sessions and can say there’s definitely been a reduction in hair growth so I feel it’s been very worth it for me.
The place’s ambiance is lovely. The location is at NYC heart and near train stations. Staff always try to help and book your appointments at your best convenience. Lastly, technicians keep you comfortable. Great place for your laser treatment or touch-ups
I have been doing my laser hair removal at Infinity for over a year now. The results from having treatments at Infinity have been phenomenal. I saw fantastic progress after just the first few sessions . I would definitely recommend as this has stopped a daily issue of dealing with excess hair growth, so for me- pretty life changing! The room is clean and neat and the staff are excellent! Highly recommended!
