  1. I recently started laser hair removal at this location and was not expecting to love my experience so much that I write a detailed review.

    Firstly, Stephanie should be the face of Ideal Image. I think any beauty aesthetician needs to have enough social skills to make you feel comfortable, but she’s just got this personality that makes you feel like you’re talking to your best friend you grew up with.

    I had done minimal research on Ideal Image before signing up for laser hair removal during a good sale, once i signed the contract and couldn’t go back, i looked at various reviews and ended up terrified of this company. BUT,

    Just 2 weeks after my first appointment and my hair is shedding like a dog. Granted, I am the ideal candidate for laser (light natural tan, dark hair, coarse in some areas). I was not burned (the laser HURTS in some areas, but it’s worth it) and thus far I have not been scammed. My thing is, if you’re going to spend money getting waxed each month like i was doing, just put that money into laser. why not? In the words of the sales rep who couldn’t wait to get her commission from my agreement: “do it girl, you’ll love it”.

    But the only reason i did this is because i tend to break out whether i shave, wax, epilate, whatever it may be. i also have lighter skin and dark, noticeable hair. If you don’t have those problems, I wouldn’t do laser. But if you’re putting money into waxing each month, stop it right now and “do laser girl, you’ll love it”.

  2. From the moment I made my appointment, I was greeted by wonderful front office customer service agents who worked to get a schedule built for me as I requested. Return phone calls were prompt, and my treatments were top of the line, I have been very satisfied with the service and results of all procedures. I recommend Ideal Image in West Port to all of my friends. Top of the line experience is what I have had. Great, courteous , educated team! Give them a call you won’t be disappointed ❤️ Kim was amazing with my fillers, Botox and BBL. I get so many compliments after spending Time with Kim!

  3. Saw Stephanie today for my 3rd laser hair removal appointment. She was the sweetest ever! She was extremely kind and helpful throughout the whole process being sure to pause if I needed a little break. I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff at ideal image. They are all extremely friendly and professional. The results of the hair removal process have also been amazing.. and Im only 3 appointments in. I can’t wait to book more services here!

  4. Don’t make personal phone calls on your cell phone at the front desk when the volume is so loud the people in the lobby can actually hear the conversation. Sorry your family member has a lung condition and needs a breathing treatment and got X-rays… on the other once I was finally taken to the back Stephanie turned it all around with her professionalism and genuine care. It made my birthday better…

  5. I went to both the Westport and North KC branches. The nurses who conducted the treatments were very nice, but that is the best I can say. Bottom line, run away from Ideal Image. Here are my issues:
    1. It takes forever to get an appointment.
    2. They cancelled my first appointment when I was on the way driving there.
    3. The first treatment the nurse applied the cool sculpting device low on one leg (almost by my knee) and high on the inner thigh of my other leg. I did not realize it until it was too late. I took pictures to document and show them. Nothing done about it.
    4. Their membership is a scam. They told me I could use the free treatment for the toning treatment on the areas I had cool sculpted but when I tried to schedule it they said sorry it had to be done within the first 6 months. So, it took a month to get an appointment and then they make you wait months between treatments so it was not possible for me to use it on the treatment.
    5. The membership automatically renews with no warning. Reputable companies give you notice, which tells you something about Ideal Image.
    6. Every single receptionist I encountered was rude. I’m a big believer in being nice to people in general, but especially those in a service role because those are hard jobs so this is not them reacting to me. They started rude from the second I walked in the door.
    I will never use Ideal Image again. Ever. Biggest waste of money and an overall terrible experience.

    UPDATE: So I was encouraged to post my first initial rating. Obviously it isn’t forced but I was pleased with the initial service. I’m now a year or so in and I don’t see the ROI here. I’m still having to shave in between sessions and I’ve gone up to the highest setting for my skin tone. We switched to a different laser frequency and I’m still not convinced this was worth the cost. I’ve taken into consideration that I often need to reschedule my appointments due to my travel schedule for work but have still met the 5-10 week fluctuation appointments. However, I’ve not since been impressed for many months now and have just been trying to wait it out in hopes that I will get better results. The laser techs are always really friendly and make you comfortable which is what keeps me at the location and brings the review up significantly. If you are considering laser hair removal as a woman of color, I’d recommend that you keep looking. I went with the first and only clinic I researched, but in hindsight I definitely would have chosen another place.

    I’ve been getting treatments here for about six months now, but had to pause them because I went to Spain and they were extremely understanding and make sure when I went back to them that everything was fine and that I was safe for continuing my treatments! Every time I get treatments here I get someone new, and they are always really sweet and make sure Im always comfortable. Can’t recommend this place enough!

    Laser hair removal was the last resort for me in getting rid of unwanted hair. In hindsight It definitely should’ve been my first option! Milan Laser Liberty location is amazing. The nurses are wonderful and truly care about your well being. The results are like nothing else. Thank you!

    I have been seeing the girls at Ideal image Zona Rosa location for a year now. I love my nurse Brianna and now new nurse Jamie and the front desk girls are always helpful and friendly. They make all make me comfortable.

    I was very impressed, and pleased with my experience as it was my first time doing Botox or fillers my husband was very skeptical, but he wanted me to be happy so he supported it, my R.N was Aubrey, and she was so knowledgeable! she went above, and beyond to make sure everything looked natural, and keep my unique features, just maybe soften them a little. She had a great vibe, and was so easy to chat with it really made everything so much more comfortable. I will absolutely be back! I have a couple of cool sculpturing treatments scheduled, and plan to keep up my filler and botox, the actual facility was very nice and clean, but my Nurse Aubrey was the one who made the overall experience 5 stars. P.S my husband loves it!
