  2. This is definitely the best Martial arts school in the area. It is run by high level and knowledgeable instructors who always seem to take time out of their day to help and answer questions even outside of class time. From the instructors to the students, it is a friendly and safe training environment. I have been training at Triad for 14 years and I have no complaints. The school has helped me grow not just by teaching me karate, but also by teaching self discipline and respect. I would recommend this school to anyone, children and adults!

  3. This best place to learn martial arts and self defense! I have trained at trained at Triad for three years going on four and I couldn’t be happier! I started training just to learn self defense and I got so much more, I gained so much confidence in myself not just in defending myself but in everything. Everyone at Triad Martial Arts are always respectful, kind and very supportive and are like a second family to me! I would recommend them to anyone!!

  4. About a year into Triad and it’s been a wonderful experience! Everyone in all classes are so welcoming and supportive of new students young and old. I used to be scared to step on the mats but after one class I’m hooked and now in MMA, Karate and Jujitsu! As a woman I highly recommend learning martial arts for self defense!

It does not matter if you are a top athlete competing at the highest levels or just looking for somewhere to learn the basics, gain confidence, and get better, I highly recommend Triad. There are several top black belts teaching each class and the head instructor Daniel is one of the best you will find anywhere.

    I trained here for over 2 years when I was living in Huntsville. I just moved last month. Eric, the owner, is a highly knowledgeable black belt and runs a great room. He promotes an atmosphere that’s focused on learning while remaining fun and not overly serious. Hia curriculum is thoughtful and each lesson builds on the previous one. Teammates are a fun group that offer challenging rolls. Highly recommend training here. New gym location is a great upgrade. The other coaches, Chuck and Thomas, are great as well.

    Chuck and Eric are excellent at coaching they lead a fun and engaging classes. The gym is very clean and the mats are always spotless. The beginners class is perfect if you are new and need a slower more in-depth explanation. Chuck and Eric are great at teaching you in a way you will learn and remember.

    Been training here (inconsistently) for a little over a year and, though I’ve never been very coordinated or agile, learning how to move my body and realizing how much technique matters with all the movements has been great. The new location is a great upgrade from the old spot (better parking, less stuffy, more mat space) but still has the comfortable, familiar vibe. For anyone on the fence about trying it, there’s no need to put on a gi and belt to come to class, or even a skin-tight rash guard – just come as you are – and I think they offer free introductory classes, too. Open mat on Saturdays is all skill levels and, for me, was intimidating but after the nerves settled, I realized that no one there is trying to hurt you. The advanced guys don’t get their egos massaged by roughing up newbies and they’re always more than happy to teach or give pointers even as you’re rolling with them. It really does start to feel like a team and it’s awesome to see how many families are involved – fathers sticking around for class after their daughters, sisters and brothers attending the kids’ classes together – it’s welcoming to everybody!

    Hands down best Jiu Jitsu gym in Huntsville. Plenty of mat space and clean facility. The culture is open and welcoming to all whether you’re a beginner, an experienced jiu jitsu player looking for a new home, or someone from out of town just passing through or visiting. The coaches Chuck and Eric are very down to earth and will go the extra mile to answer questions, explain concepts, and break down the mechanics of every move. Both coaches have helped me develop my Jiu Jitsu game tremendously with an emphasis on leg locks and understanding leg entanglements which most other gyms will not teach you. Chuck and Eric are both hilarious and all-around pleasant people to be around. They also do an excellent job of keeping everyone safe by ensuring that everyone is operating within their scope of experience and using Jiu Jitsu techniques properly. Everyone who trains there is respectful and encouraging to each other. With all that being said, I find the winning “kill” mentality at this gym to be superior. There are plenty of excellent competition training partners which makes you feel part of a team. All in all amazing gym, exceptional people to learn from and experience the journey of Jiu Jitsu alongside.

    That Chuck is one cool dude. LOL ! Naw for real though I brought my 10yo daughter here 2 years ago from Maverick. It has become such a great decision. Chuck, Nick, and Alex have brought her along in technique, strength and confidence. She has won numerous brackets at tournaments in Nashville, Chattanooga, and Birmingham where we travel as a team to compete. I started along with her here and it has been a blast. I started at 38 and thought it was too late but Eric and Chuck make you feel apart of the 10th planet family and make sure you know to never down play yourself. I am 40 now and feel better than ever. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the beginner and kids classes. Give it a try and commit to the process and I am sure you will love it here. 👇👌 #10p4L

    Awesome place to train Jiu Jitsu and make new friends! When I first started out, I was really looking for a structured fundamental curriculum to break down Jiu Jitsu into bite size pieces and not feel so overwhelmed and that’s what I got from Arsenal. Professor Brian is extremely knowledgeable and is able to effectively communicate and teach these principles to new practitioners. He, Professor Kenny, Coach Chris, and the entire Arsenal family also made me feel very welcome and that they were invested in my development. I’ve been training here now for a little over a year and a half and seem to be having more fun with BJJ as time goes on. Would highly recommend Arsenal to anyone looking for a welcoming place to train with top notch instructors!

    The crew and environment here is absolutely amazing! My children and I love it it here. They have learned so much within these 4 months, and they are more confident. I see all age group and nationality. I’m thankful for this experience. Highly recommend!

    They have a ton of scheduling options and the coaches are amazing. They really take the time to make sure that you understand the fundamentals of the positions before moving forward. They also have a great atmosphere where I feel really comfortable.

    I was in town for work and the Arsenal family is a pleasure to train with. They have that balance of welcoming strangers and warrior mode during training. I hope to visit them again. Definitely one of the cleanest martial arts schools I have visited. Sensei Bryan was a friendly and professional when I schedule my first class. I could see Sensei Bryan loves what he does.
