  1. I first tried River Birch Lodge because of the large gluten free menu.

    They were out of the GF chicken tenders, which was disappointing, but the food I did get was delicious. I love Brussels sprouts when they are cooked well (well done) and these are some of the best I’ve ever had. The french fries were also really good. I’ve never had a rum cake before and it had a unique flavor to it, but it was delicious. Most importantly, I didn’t have any gluten reactions to the food.

    I don’t live nearby, unfortunately, but now I try to stop by any time I am in the area. I highly recommend it, especially if you are looking for delicious gluten free options.

  2. The food and service were top notch. We had brunch, and it was some of the best pancakes and chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. It’s an upscale-woodsy luxury cabin vibe. We will definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend!

  3. Service was quick & friendly. Food was far better than expected. The duck is well worth the cost as it is cooked to perfection with quality ingredients used for the whole dish. We had a loving dinner experience. Thank you!

  4. Great food, atmosphere and enough parking! I had the shrimp and grits! They had a good selection of drink options. I love that we were able to have brunch on patio and they were able to accommodate a party of 12! We had a breast cancer awareness event. The service was fast friendly and kind! I highly recommend this place. I’m trying the chicken and waffles next! 😊

  5. Loved the atmosphere and cocktail choices. The jalapeno business cocktail was my personal favorite. Our server was good overall but the food runners were very friendly & helpful. Got the scallops over pearl pasta as well as the goat cheese ravioli. Both dishes were good overall. The chicken on top of the ravioli was not as good as the ravioli itself and the pearl pasta made me wish it was risotto instead. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely go again.

    Everything and I mean everything we ordered was fresh, hot and delicious. No complaints here. The service was great also. The omelette I had(can’t remember name) but I should have order one Togo. The chicken and the fluffy waffle. Yes yes yes. And the grits were already seasoned. Everything cooked to perfection. A must go back and try again

    Love this restaurant. I love their Greek omelette and other items. My wife loves their Big Italian sandwich. The coconut shrimp is great but I didn’t prefer the small portion, and that’s okay. The staff is very friendly and our family and us love coming here. Recommend!

    We had a large party however this place was ready for it. Their menu is huge. They offer everything from breakfast to dinner.our server was a little forgetful with extras but our food came out correct and it was good. She was very honest with our questions of what to get and her not so favorites we appreciate that. If your near wake forest this is a keeper. And they even sell jars of apple butter and other jams at checkout.

    4 out of 5 stars. Good food. But owners, please switch to homemade mashed potatoes. The only thing on my plate that was bland were the mashed potatoes. Also, please switch to fresh cut fries. The frozen battered ones are not as good. Everything else was great. The staff were amazing. Perfect place for family.

    We have been here probably 10-15 times and have always had great food and great customer service. Tonight we went for my husbands birthday and as always had wonderful food but this time we had extraordinary service from our waiter! Andre was always giving us his direct and full attention when we were speaking to him and he made us feel comfortable. He went above and beyond the whole evening and brought out cheesecake for my husbands birthday. He really helped make this a perfect dinning experience! We really enjoyed our night and appreciate having such great service!

    Take your date to fancy dinner without having to spend so much. I would recommend Brazilian steak experience to anyone. Steaks tastes great sliced and served at your table. Several salad options to make yourself with. Soups and break can also be on the side.

    Stayed at the Fairfield inn cowboy Brazilian steakhouse is just across the street. Decided to go with the salad only. Yummy. Yes please I love red velvet layer cake was to die for.

    Everything was horrible here; they didn’t care about their customers. We called ahead and ensured the kitchen would still be running, and they said yes. We sat down, and they would come with one garlic steak for eight people. They basically wanted us to cut that little garlic steak into 8 pieces and share it like it was an elementary school pizza party. Then we also said NO PORK for our table, the “owner” came and said, “grill is closed, only pork I can bring that for you guys,” knowing we do not eat pork, it is against our religion. The amount of disrespect we received is unacceptable. We requested what we wanted to be brought to us, and they came with the opposite. Never got what we wanted. First time in my life, I’ve seen my card stay GREEN throughout my whole time there. Every other Brazillian Steakhouse I have gone to has satisfied and pleased me by bringing me what I desire and respecting my wishes of “NO PORK.” Also, no apologies from the gentleman offering us pork; he was very RUDE. WE ASKED FOR MEDIUM WELL MULTIPLE TIMES; SEE THE ATTACHED IMAGE TO SEE WHAT THEY BROUGHT US. IF I COULD LEAVE 0 STARS, I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD!!! I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE MY HARD-EARNED MONEY HERE AGAIN! I ADVISE EVERYONE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE VISITING THIS RESTAURANT!!!

    Second Brazilian Steakhouse we have been to and this one came out on top of the two. Me and my wife were a big fan of 95% of the meat brought to our table by the gauchos. Service was lacking a little by our server but I can’t really count off much for that during Covid. I realize everyone is short staffed and what they have are overworked. The salad bar and cold bar was excellent and they had a large variety of choices. We used Groupon which was a great deal. We will definitely return, Groupon or not. Would have taken more pictures with the meats that were available but once they started coming the feast took over my camera time.
