  1. We stopped here for a late lunch and what else is there to say other than you gotta come here!

    Service and waitstaff was very accommodating and friendly! We ordered:
    – BBQ Brisket Sandwich with Coleslaw & Fries
    – Reuben Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries
    – Mocha Cold Brew Shake

    Love the cute decor and the little details of black bears in napkins, condiments, and all around the diner! Everything is very clean, but the diner is a bit dated in decor.

    Food was great, didn’t wait long for our food at all! We had a great lunch and will definitely be back! Come try out this wonderful local diner! 😄👍

  2. First time comong here with a coworker and it was certainly packed but thats expected on the weekend. One thing that got me by surprise was the portion sizes! Don’t let the proce tag fool you, you will get a good amount of food and quality at that. The chicken fried steak and waffles are on point. Will be coming back to try out the other dishes.

  3. Had a great meal with my son and his friend. We got seated immediately. The server, Evin, was very attentive and took great care of us. The cook also went the extra mile making the plates extra attractive. I’ve been to several Black Bear locations and this one stood out.

  4. Great place to eat. Great food. Clean restaurant. Very friendly staff. So many food choices it would take many months to try all. We have had the same server Clarissa several times. She is very sweet and always helpful kind and fun. We look forward to seeing her on our visits.

  5. My husband and I are here to visit my daughter and we were looking for a place for lunch, saw the diner, and decided to try it. Definitely family friendly. I was expecting something like Denny’s but Black Bear offered so much more! I don’t eat a lot of meat but will have fish/tuna so I order a tuna salad. HUGE portions! Very much like home-cooked meals! The prices are very reasonable too!
    Our adorable waitress named Pam was friendly, personable, and did a great job checking on us!
    I do recommend this restaurant!

    So delicious and flavorful! We had a very large group and we all loved our food! From the appetizers to the sides to the main courses, it was all cooked and prepared to perfection. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth it. The waitress was very patient with us and super friendly.

    Relaxed calming atmosphere. Great service. The decor is a whole experience in itself. I had the larger ribeye, mouthwatering goodness. My wife had the salmon and we both were very satisfied. Salad was fresh. Dinner bread was tasty. I will have to return to work through the menu.

    Thus is a different experience for us as far as going out goes. The food was great and Jone….our waitres was great. She was checking in on us every 5 minutes. The food was also great. The difference is the restaurant’s feel. It feels like a museum in the entrance and in their bar. Check it out and let me know what you think. We loved it

    We went to the Timbermine tonight for the first time and it was SO good. Our waitress Amber was phenomenal and made sure we had a great evening. The food was delicious and so was the atmosphere. I had the Ribeye, and it was the most tender, flavorful steak I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely be back.

    Fantastic atmosphere, service and the food!! My steak was done exactly the way I ordered, tasted great and my potatoe was done perfectly as well. It’s like having dinner in a museum which was really cool.. Love all the seating arrangements which ours was a private booth.. Highly recommend this restaurant for everyone!!!!!

    Waffles are so light and crispy. Delicious. Ham hash was also good. Paid $5.50 for Valencia orange juice and still not sure if it was worth it. The food is yummy but the portions were quite small for what we paid. Probably wouldn’t go back, but fun spot to try. Staff was kind and service was fast.

    This is such a great place to stop for a quick delicious breakfast. The food is always freshly made to order and the staff is very laid back. I haven’t had anything on their menu I don’t like yet. I like that their food isn’t over priced and their meals are filling without being too heavy considering its southern. Absolutely a must visit in Ogden.

    Dear sweet Lord the orange cream syrup was straight from heaven. The lavender blueberry jam was also magical. I love the ordering process, and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have the best hash in the state! I could not stop myself from eating everything in front of me all at once. It was so good! Beignets were also good, more scone like to me but it didn’t matter because I devoured them. The joys of running marathons.

    Cute place in gentrified Ogden. I ordered the Ham Hash, very tasty but way more potatoes than I like. Maybe deep fried ? And definitely well done vs what I’d expect for “hash” potatoes (baked/boiled then pan fried). Good flavor all around. Sausage gravy was tasty and the biscuit light – so that was a winner. I’ll go again and try the chicken sandwich. I didn’t order but saw the Belgian style Waffels – looked good but where can I find those thin ones???

    I have been here multiple times, and really enjoy going here on brunch dates. I enjoy their chicken and waffles, they are some of the better ones that I have tried at hip brunch spots in Utah. They also serve some alcohol but since we’re in lovely Utah, you’ll have to wait until like 1100 or something to get boozy. Love beer and bacon.
