What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Wait staff was amazing. The food was prepared perfectly. My fiance has a list of allergies and they were very attentive and took every precaution to prepare her meal. Definitely a top 10 restaurant.

  2. 14 of us went to this place for dinner. Wait time was really long for both drinks and food. I ordered wine and it still took 15 min to arrive. Other than the wait time, service was good. For such large table our server took good care of us. Everyone in our table ordered drinks and loved it. Food wise appetizers were very tasty. We got all sort of stuffs from crab dip to queso dip, fried green tomatoes, onion rings, corn bread, etc. Fried tomatoes were highly overrated. Corn bread was so soft and delicious. We also loved the crab dip.
For dinner I got the special. They had garlic stuffed steak with buttered marrow on top. As much as I wanted the steak since that’s what’s popular in TX, I was disappointed. I ordered medium steak. It was dry and chewy. I know I ordered buttered steak but it had overwhelming amount of butter, I felt nauseous. I couldn’t eat my dinner at all besides 2 bites. Other than the steak everything was pretty good including side of mashed potatoes and green beans. My friends who ordered regular steak and meatloaf liked their plates.
We got chocolate cakes for dessert. Most of us were too full to try but everyone loved it.
    Restaurant ambience is great.

  3. Dine in for two people. We arrived for an early dinner on Saturday evening and were seated right away. Love the atmosphere and seating was comfortable. Our waitress Alexis was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We had the Old fashioned with a Texas pour, and a long island iced tea, both strong and good taste. For dinner we had: Venison chili and mesquite grilled Caesar salad (the romaine lettuce was actually seared!) Also the chicken fried steak with jalepeno sausage gravy, chive mashed potatoes, and sauteed green beans. The steak was so tender it didn’t even need a knife! Everything was perfectly seasoned (there is no salt or pepper on the table because it doesn’t need it!!!) For dessert we had the pecan pie… don’t pass it up! My only request is PLEASE open one of these in San Antonio!!!! We will definitely come here again when I’m the Last Colinas area again!

  4. The Ranch was a wonderful farm-to-table experience. All products locally sourced from Texas farms and ranches and those vendors are credited on the menu. Food and atmosphere was terrific. Hostess and waitress were very pleasant. The only negative during our visit was that my wife’s side salad didn’t come out with her meal and we had to ask for it twice before it finally made it’s way to the table. That was a minor inconveniece for the quality of everything else. I also felt that the offerings were reasonably priced. Would certainly be possible to eat well for $15-20 a person. Would definitely recommend!

Pictured: Fried Green Tomatoes, House Salad, Chicken Fried Chicken, and Slow Smoked Short Rib.

  5. My wife and I came here for my birthday and we loved it. The atmosphere is nice and has a low light and rustic feel. The food was absolutely out of this world delicious. For dessert, you must get the pecan pie. We went outside after dinner to see the band playing (Barefoot Nation) . Outside seating is nice, just like the back porch of the ranch. We definitely have found our new favorite spot

I think this restaurant is going to be one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas/F.Worth from now on. Food was delicious, atmosphere was romantic, the server was very nice & helpful, the greeter lady was amazing with her charming presence & kind words she made us feel so good! Loved this place we would definitely come back again! P.S: if you’re planning to celebrate a special event with amazing food & atmosphere pick this place without any doubt! Just make sure to book prior if you’d be more than two person.

I recently dined at Via Real, a fancy Mexican restaurant, and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The food was delicious, especially the crab cake, lamb rack, and coconut shrimp, which were cooked to perfection. Our server, Raul, was extremely friendly and accommodating, helping us choose from the menu and even assisting with a birthday cake. The atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion and I would highly recommend Via Real for anyone looking to celebrate a memorable meal.

We were here on a Tuesday evening at 8 PM and this restaurant was buzzing with corporate crowd. We had a table for two and we ordered two meals. For the vegetarian we had the squash enchiladas. The tortilla itself was a little under cooked but the enchilada was very flavorful. we also had Taco de res, tenderloin tacos, which were really intense and flavorful. The corn on the squash enchilada was probably one of the best corns I have had. The best part was the dessert, we had a flan and a rice pudding made like a cheesecake, which was highly recommended by our host And we absolutely loved it. For two people we spent approximately $40 per head but definitely a place I would love to revisit and spend some time. Great ambience Great food and a great host.

The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that was both stylish and comfortable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and an excellent vibe. Five stars all around!

The service was outstanding! Gabe made my day. I did not expect such a welcoming and hospitable experience. I was feeling very indecisive about the soups so he let me sample the ones I was interested in to help me decide. I loved their signature tomato basil soup, but decided on Gabe’s recommendation – the creamy potato soup topped with bacon, cheese, and green onions. Yum. I picked the seasonal Strawberry Goat Cheese and Almond Sliver salad, but found out that it was no longer offered. Gabe made it for us anyway, which I thought was so sweet! His friendly and warm demeanor was so welcoming that my friend and I found ourselves talking about how great Gabe was and how outstanding his service was. I’d like to think we got special treatment, but as we were relishing in how amazing he was, we witnessed another customer go out of their way to tell Gabe how incredible his customer service was. We chimed in, “We agree! We were just saying the same thing!” Gabe, thank you again for making us feel so taken care of. You’re a gem!

A nice cozy place to hang out with friends. They sell festive cookies, jams, chocolate spread, and pasta sauce on the side too. I would be more appreciate if they have vegetarian (no eggs) pastries and cakes, and some gluten free option.

The place is nice and comfy. We visited this place after church and we’re surprised to see that they served breakfast. They have variety of French cuisine and we love it! The price is affordable as well.

I ordered the sampler: half a quiche Lorraine,Caesar salad, and a cup of their corn chowder. Food was good, the only thing in my opinion is the soup needs more seasoning. The staff are friendly when one walks in but the lady at the register was not in a good mood, not friendly at all, I almost asked if everything was ok because it just seemed like she did not want to be there working. I get it we all have bad days but when we’re working there’s ways to treat the customers.

My part of 5 had a great experience at la Madeleine. This French Bistro has an extensive menu with lots of delucious baked goods and all day breakfast. The restaurant was clean, service was great, and there was a table available when we arrived.
