  1. They were super nice!! I have very high anxiety when it comes to the dentist and they made me feel very comfortable and at ease. This was just a consult so it was very quick but they were able to get me in with the surgeon this Friday which is amazing!! I’m definitely looking forward to getting my smile back with them.

  2. I have no insurance and they were able to get me in on the same day I called for an emergency. The staff at the desk was so nice and welcoming. Dr. Matthews is my favorite now. She made me feel so comfortable and she was very nice and thorough explaining exactly what had happened with my tooth. I would definitely recommend this practice to others.

  3. University Dental group is the only area dentist I will go to! Dr. Kim is fantastic. He makes sure you’re comfortable and explains what he is doing. The dental assistants are all fabulous as well! Beautiful office great staff. I will be coming back for all my dental needs!

  4. I likely have a cracked molar #3 on the upper right side of my mouth with a short root canal already there. A deep pocket exists and accumulates debris causing pain. Dr. Kim explained the situation and recommends a consult with an Endocrinologist. I was concerned of course and made an appointment with a specialist. Dr. Albert Kim is an easy doctor to speak with and found him to be concerned for my well being.

  5. Having gone there for 30 yrs under the original ownership, I was worried that there could be wholesale changes in the patient care and way of doing business under a new owner. Quite surprised that they’re still very professional, and the new dentist I got after Dr.B finally retired is incredibly good, just as detail-oriented. Thank you Dr. Matthews!

    They called me the weekend before my appointment, which was Monday. They told me they lost my information and needed to setup my account again. They also happened to lose the receipt showing that I had paid for the services in advance. Luckily I had a copy. I emailed the receipt. When reviewing what was going to be done at my appointment there was a discrepancy. I need a certain procedure done that I was told was paid for. Now it’s going to cost me an extra $700. The office manager blamed me for the misunderstanding. I was very clear with the doctor and the manager what I needed and why. Now it’s an extra $700. Stay away from here! Especially Joshua!

    The first visit was nice. I opted for the dentures with the posts. I scheduled an appointment with the oral surgeon and received an over abundance of text messages and phone calls. You began to sound desperate for business. I came in Monday to see the dr. I went to financial counseling and couldn’t get a quote. I was promised a call back because he was unsure of the costs. I asked if it was more than $5000 and the reply was oh much more than that. I am still waiting for a call but I will go elsewhere as you seem desperate for money. My original quote was $3000. What a scam.

    Nurse took 100 unnecessary x rays but doctor didn’t come for 3 hours to see me had to leave for another appointment after all that waiting. Waste of time and money.

    Loved this place! I got a root canal done there and they gave me an appointment within 24 hours of my initial call and the staff is so professional and nice. I loved the fact that prior to moving on with any procedure they will talk to you about prices, insurance, & payment options so you can have a clear idea of what will happen next. The place is clean and has great technology. I highly recommend it if you need to go in for an emergency because they’ll most likely take you the same day.

    My hygienist, Jessica with gentle dental is the most patient, kind, gentle, informative, caring person I have ever met. I have been going to the dentist for many years and Jess is by far the best in the entire world. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. I am a bit fearful of the dentist and she walks me through every step of the way and makes me feel so relaxed and comfortable easing my anxiety. Thank you gentle dental!

    When picking a new dentist you obviously will look at the reviews because they are there. Here is mine.. when you get someone who has a genuine “chair side” manner. Being their genuine genius. Humanity with a heart for care and service. There aren’t enough stars for these professionals or this office. My Dentist, her assistant and the hygienist are all spectacular. Thank you all SO much.     My visit was EXCELLENT from start to finish. Greeted on the way in from the front desk. Minimal wait time and the dental assistant brought me in. She was very informative and helpful. The doctor came in and she was great. The doctor was gentle (filling) and kept me updated throughout the process, and made sure I was OK at the end. The doctor made sure to send me off in the lobby. The front desk was amazing on the way out as well. This Gentle Dental office should be the model for the rest. Thank you
