  1. My dentist retired, and I had a dental emergency. I was able to get in the same day I called. I’ve been so hesitant to try a new dentist/place. I got lucky! Dr. Chou couldn’t have been nicer! Esmerelda, the assistant, and Taylor, the administrative person, were so kind, caring, and pleasant. I’m very happy and think I found my new dental provider! I let them know I have severe dental anxiety, and they were very sensitive to me about it. That, in itself, helped to keep my anxiety down. Going to let my daughter know about them, as she needs a new dentist as well.

  2. Alicia was very helpful with check-in and worked diligently to get insurance issues resolved quickly. Taylor thoroughly explained the finance/insurance side of my treatment options. Doctor & Alicia were both kind & concerned about my comfort. They were able to determine the source of my discomfort. Doctor thoroughly explained my treatment options and answered all my questions. This is the best dental office in Wichita because of their exceptional staff!

  3. Dr. Pierson and Dr B really care for their patients and want to make them as comfortable as possible. I came in for a crown and it takes a lot for me to get fully numb. Both Dr’s made sure I didn’t feel a thing. Abby was also amazing about making sure my experience was great and I was comfortable. She’d ask often if I was doing okay through the whole process. Dr Pierson also fixed a cavity really quick even though I wasn’t scheduled for that. This will forever be my favorite dental office and I will recommend everyone here. Thank you all for everything you do and for being amazing!

  4. My experience was great! I am petrified of the dentist and from start to finish the staff was caring and sensitive. I think I got a welcoming smile from all. Abby and Dr Brett are truly great and had all my best interest to procedures I’m am requiring. I did read reviews on Yelp the unfavorable reviews are simply not true.

  5. I will say that most of the employees were very nice but total confusion in that office. Other than the first appointment, we waited up to an hour before we went back. Once we waited 30 minutes to then be told we had to reschedule. We live 40 minutes away.
    My daughter had her teeth bleached in the office and was promised trays but never received them.
    Again, nice people just total Chaos.
    I would not recommend this office.
    We go somewhere else now.

    WOW! I have been seeing Dr. Volker for several years now but this last visit was beyond perfection. I chipped my tooth and had to leave out of town for a conference and was desperate for help! From the time I called to get in the same day, they cleaned my teeth and fixed my tooth! Every single person in this office went above and beyond for me. The professionalism and friendliness of the whole team is absolutely outstanding and I could not be more grateful for Dr. Volker and each person in his office. Thank you so much for everything you guys do, every visit is like visiting friends. I cannot recommend this team enough! GO SEE THEM!

    This was only my second experience at Wichita Family Dental West. My experience was pleasant and relaxed. The staff, the doctor and assistant all worked together in a very professional manner. They provided and answered all my questions with great care and detail in mind. They truly work together and provide the best care during your visit. I highly recommend their service if you’re looking to find a complete and worthy family dental facility in west Wichita. They did actually give me a fat lip but I may have objected otherwise😊

    I always feel valued as a customer when visiting the west office. There hasn’t been a single occasion where the staff didn’t try and make me comfortable. It is also worth noting that I have experienced the least amount of discomfort out of any dental practice I’ve ever been to. I believe in part this is a result of new and better dental techniques, but I also feel like Wochota Family Dental is extremely good at what they do. Thanks for the quality care.
