The entire team at CNY Dental Arts is personable, fun, and relaxing. They even sell cbd while you wait if you’re feeling nervy. The hygienist I saw was gentle and funny. Dr. Austin was fantastic. Not enough great words to use for this place. 🙂
Just had my first exam and cleaning here. My experience was great! The staff was so kind and I had no wait times whatsoever. My hygienist was so kind, which helped the anxiety I had previously had during dental visits at other locations. I leave my appointment feeling amazing and like I have brand new teeth!
Not even sure where to start! CNY Dental Arts has been a complete answer to prayer for my whole family, especially me. I have been anxious my whole life about dental visits and bad experiences and finding this place has taken that all away. Between the gentleness and patience of Dr.Julian and his wonderful staff and hygienist’s who are so pleasant and genuinely kind and funny it makes the experience here always great. I had recently moved to the Syracuse area and needed to change dentists. I went to CNY Dental and had an amazing first experience with the dental hygienist. She was friendly and my teeth never felt cleaner!
I had a few appointments with Dr. Austin and he was also fantastic. I understand things come up, and sometimes you have to put work on the back burner. I have had two separate appointments cancelled. 1. Dr. Austin was sick (understandable) and 2. Family emergency (again, understandable). So my appointments were changed.
After changing one appointment, I had a new appointment date scheduled, but woke up with a running nose and sore throat. So, I had to change my appointment. I called the receptionist and she was very rude. She told me I’d have to pay a cancellation fee or get a doctors note (I should have asked for a cancellation fee when two of my appointments were cancelled, the day of). I then told her I’d go to my appointment, but I’m sick. She then accused me of stating I was going to be 15 minutes late to my newly scheduled appointment. Only to realize I said I’d be 15 minutes early (because they asked if I would come in earlier than scheduled) She then told me in a nasty tone I was fine, and I asked if I could reschedule and she stated I could once my remaining balance was paid. I told her I’d call to pay and make a new appointment in a couple minutes.
Which I did, only to get no response. I left a message and have not received a call back and nobody has been answering the phone. I was able to find a new dentist in the meantime because I am not dealing with this.
Im disappointed because I really liked the people who worked on my teeth, but I am not going to tolerate disrespect from a secretary on a regular basis.
Everyone in the office treated my 83 year old mom with the best care. Mel at the front desk greets you with a big smile and positive energy. Helen’s gentle hands did a great job cleaning my mom’s teeth. Eileen pampered my mother as if she were her own. Dr Austin, thank you for making my mom smile again.
