  1. My family and I have been coming to Active Dental for years. Each time I come in, I feel welcome and taken care of. Dr. Patel, all of the front desk staff, Rita, everyone here is kind and so helpful. Dr. Patel is thorough and incredibly knowledgeable. He makes an effort to make sure you’re comfortable during any procedure. I can genuinely say this is the best dentist office I’ve ever been to!

  2. This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had a dental practice. The entire staff makes you feel very welcomed and at ease. They are extremely knowledgeable and walk you through each step during your visit. Rita and Dr. Patel took care of me during this visit and they are amazing!! I would highly recommend anyone to this practice!

  3. I honestly do not like going to the dentist but I always have a great experience when I come to Active Dental. The ladies at the front desk are always so warm and pleasant..which is very very important to me. They are flexible and their hours are super convenient. The doctor and staff are always able to answer any questions I have and they even hold my hand when I’m a little nervous. I just love this office! Thank y’all so much!

  4. I have been coming to Active Dental for a couple of years now, and they never disappoint. The entire staff is welcoming and helpful. They take the time to let you know what’s going on with your teeth, and make sure you’re comfortable with any procedure(s). Overall a wonderful dentist office!

  5. The experience from start to end was great. The staff was very welcoming. Rita gave me a full tour of the office since it was my first time, and it’s very clean and modern. She took the time to make sure I was always comfortable during my visit. Karen did an amazing job into the cleaning of my teeth. Dr. Sam was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process, and the why behind I needed the fillings. Thank you all for an amazing experience and painless one!

    I booked my appointment at this location in less than 12hours after suffering excruciating pain overnight. My wisdom tooth had a terrible cavity and so painful that no Tylenol could help. I was booked in and when I got that numbing cream I felt like I could just walk right out. More numbing cream and injections made the extraction less than 5 mins. Even though I was very nervous, the dentist and the staff made me feel very comfortable. They assured me that I was in very safe hands and indeed I was. I carried my painful souvenir for bitter sweet memories but one thing for sure Dr H is the best. I will be going back for my exam and cleaning because he is an expert at what he does!! Thank you again for your service!!

    I had a wonderful experience at Urgent Family Dentistry. I came in with quite the emergency and felt confident in Dr. Hamdan’s expertise when he put me at ease with his bedside manner. His team ended up doing a root canal on me and approached it with utmost precision, even though the job proved to be tricky. I had a temporary crown put on before my permanent came in and while it fell out a few times (which I hear is common for a temporary) the office was flexible with having me walk in during different times of the week to come in and fix it very quickly. Special shoutout to the dental assistants – very professional and just genuine humans, made my experience much less traumatic than it could’ve been.

    I walked in on my lunch break with a broken tooth and in a lot of pain. I needed a solution at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. The receptionist was efficient and polite while handling patients on the phone and in office simultaneously. The staff seemed to work together very well and made me feel comfortable and confident in their ability to help me. The doctor was informative, gave options, and empathized with me. He was also very fast. In and out in under an hour for an extraction. Now let’s see how this healing process goes.

    Wow wow wow! I cannot express enough how much I LOVE this dentist! The staff are so kind and friendly… I legitimately look forward to going to the dentist twice a year because I have such a great time! Their dental care is quick, efficient, and painless. I experienced my first cavity while going here (something I’ve been fearful of for years), and when I walked out afterwards I remember thinking: “Wow, I did not expect getting a cavity filled to be that much fun.” Seriously. Not only do I enjoy my time at The Plano Dentist, but I also appreciate how knowledgeable and top-notch they are. They do an extremely good job and have taught me a ton about my oral hygiene. One final point: A few year’s back my dental insurance changed and no longer covered visits to The Plano Dentist. I began seeking out other dental options, and was disappointed every time I tried a new dentist. The staff at these other dentists were either cold/stiff and unfriendly, or the dentists would hurt my mouth or get my face super wet and messy—I missed The Plano Dentist so much and really learned to appreciate their premium care even more! One year later when my insurance changed again, I was ECSTATIC to learn I could return going to The Plano Dentist. I remember the phone call like it was yesterday… I called them and was so excited to learn that they were in my insurance network again and booked an appointment immediately.     I definitely will make The Plano Dentist my permanent dental office for all my dental needs moving forward. I moved here from Austin two months ago and had a great dentist there. I have extreme anxiety regarding the dentist office to begin with and I was experiencing significant pain. Finding a compassionate, caring and knowledgeable dentist was a top priority for me. I did my homework and found The Plano Dentist office and I was NOT disappointed upon my first visit. Dr. Mejia and her staff are very gracious and welcoming. They put my anxiety to ease as soon as I was in the dental chair. The office staff is very knowledgeable and efficient and they are a great source of communication between Dr. Mejia and her clinical staff. Dr. Mejia is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everthing to me as well as eliminating my pain. Dental pain is the worst and the last thing you want to worry about is the dental experience you will be receiving to address that pain. You will be happy with your experience at The Plano Dentist as well, I promise!

    The Plano Dentist with Dr. Mejia and her team earn a solid 5 star review. The whole experience was literally life changing. As someone who struggles with extreme dental anxiety, I have had a lot of difficulty finding a dentist who can make me feel comfortable during appointments. But Dr. Mejia was able to do just that! From the moment I walked in, I could tell that the entire team at The Plano Dentist specialized in dental anxiety patients and the staff was focused on my comfort and well-being. Dr. Mejia’s clear communication and fun, playful demeanor helped to put me at ease right away. She even sang during the exam, which helped to distract me and make the appointment feel less intimidating and while the laughing gas did not make me laugh, she sure did. Dr. Mejia also used a variety of tools and techniques to help me stay calm and relaxed. She offered me nitrous oxide, which helped to alleviate my anxiety and make me feel more comfortable during the procedure. She also used numbing gel, provided me with glasses, and played music to help me feel more at ease. Thanks to the entire team and their compassion and expertise, I was able to complete a full dental exam for the first time in five years. Dr. Mejia gentle touch and caring approach truly made all the difference.
