- Reviews:I originally made an appointment because my husband needed his tooth checked out and when I called they said that the appointment would include a cleaning and an x-ray for $85 for patients with no insurance. Come to the end of it when they took the money and I asked him how it went he said they only did the x-ray and gave a referral. That is not what I agreed to over the phone. I gave them a call back and asked them to explain what changed and the receptionist said that there was no way that was said! She said that it covered an exam and x-ray, she didn’t say exam, she said cleaning over the phone. The whole reason I made it was because of the price and what was included! Now they’re saying there is no way that was said? Not even saying that there was probably a miscommunication? No, she flat out denied there was any possibility. Absolutely disappointing! What a terrible first impression and we will not be coming back. The staff in the back were pleasant but the front needs to communicate their words better! When I called Concord Dental Group it was the same situation, but… they could hear the pain in my voice and told me to come down and they would squeeze me in between patients if there was time to do so. When I got there the staff was very caring and attentive. Not only were they able to help me with my dental emergency, the skills of the dentist who helped me were a step above the rest. She was the only dentist who had numbed me well enough I didn’t feel the surgery being performed. She listened to what I had to say and got the job done in expert fashion communicating with me throughout the procedure. Even the dental assistants were awesome. Had some difficulties getting it out, the dentist explained everything while injecting anaesthetic 3 times. A bit painful, but everyone understands. I cannot recommend this place enough. While I never think I will be excited about Dental work, Brighter Day Dental does great work. Their staff is friendly and helpful, and the quality of the work is exceptional. Jannette at the front desk is thoughtful and thorough in ensuring I know what procedures are going to be done and how to maximize my insurance coverage. Gaby, the dental assistant is kind and comforting for the anxious patient, and the Doc is skilled and concerned about your experience. I drive in from San Leandro because when you find a place that truly takes care of you, it’s worth the commute.
If you are looking for a great dental care experience this is the place. 5/5 stars!
We have been going to this Dentist for years now and they have the BEST Dr and BEST Staff ever!!! Janette will take care of everything you need she is so efficient. She will make sure to take care of you. Rizza is also so nice and has gentle hands. They are all very kind. I love going to this place. My whole family is well taken care of. Best Dentist place yet I have ever been to.
The staff there are ALWAYS friendly and professional. They truly make going to the dentist a safe place to be at. The office is really inviting and the staff always make it fun while I wait for my kids to get done with their check ups. I truly enjoy going to the dentist because of them.
Dr. Dokko was referred by my orthodontist, he is an expert at crowns, he was able to squeeze me in the same day as my consultation, and my experience was quick, easy and painless.
I really appreciate that he’s up on all the latest technology and equipment, to give his clients the best possible experience.
His staff was amazing as well.

I have always been afraid of the dentist hurting me, I’m 33 and never had any cavities or teeth removed. This past weekend we filled cavities and deep cleaned and pulled a wisdom tooth. Let me tell you I sure didn’t feel a thing when that tooth came out. I was done quick! The healing after so far I’m on day 3 and never swollen a little sore.. This was the best experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Dr Dokko for any of your dentistry things. I was recommend to this place by a good friend who takes her child here. Thanks for being honest and caring doctor!!!
