What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Hopefully new management has changed this place around. First problem you can hear everyone around you. The parking garage was under construction almost last 7 months of living there so never had parking. When the winter storm hit, I was given 15 mins to figure out where I would move to. Gave us a dirty apartment which was promise to be clean before we moved in(dusty, fire alarm broken, oven almost caught on fire due to dirt, and dead bugs everywhere, etc) didn’t clean until we complained 3 times which was 2 weeks later. Never gave us updates on our apartment being fixed. Promised we would move in before lease was up. It wasn’t. We found mold they missed in my roommate’s closet when moving out. If you are in our old apartment I hope they fixed it.

  2. We loved living here. Crest has the best staff in the world, Ida and Lacy were very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. The maintenance guys were always very professional and were very quick to respond to requests. The location of the place is excellent, it has a DART station nearby, as well as restaurants, cafe and ice cream shop; the walks around Lake Carolyn are excellent.

  3. I am happy to say I am a resident at the crest at Las Colinas station. As an employee for an airlines I move around a lot I’ve never been to a complex or management and staff go out of their way to ensure the community is taken care of. In this area, there is a very diverse community. They make it feel like a family with the events and you really get to know your, for example, this past week they had a chili cook off/dog costume contest bringing the community together, getting to know more people; the property has a good size community room where you can mingle games and learn about other peoples culture again it’s a very diverse property. Management has a very open door policy and so do the staff very professional the new management really go out of their way to get to know the residence. Again, I have lived in several properties moving around with the airline industry I have to say this is a 10 for me out of 10 I am glad to call this home the crest at Las Colinas; I highly recommend this property. The floorplans are amazing and right off of 114 Highway put you in the center of Dallas Lovefield and Dallas Fort Worth international Airport; many shops nearby and entertainment Property is really safe and so is the area. And not to forget the property is very pet friendly.

  4. I’ve been here 6 months and Honestly speaking, this is the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in.

    1. The elevators are dirty and constantly broken.

    2. There are no cameras in the building except a few by the leasing office.

    3. When I spoke to the front office they informed me that one of the few cameras that they have are not working. My car got broken into on the 5th floor of the garage and I needed the video for an investigation.
They told me that there was nothing they could do about it and that it’s my “personal problem”.

    4. My packages were stolen from in front of my door numerous times. No cameras on the property or in the hallways. Basically, if you get assaulted or anything happens to you, there will be no camera evidence or anybody to help you. This makes me extremely uncomfortable being that it’s a “upscale” area and “gated” community.

For as much as they charge and want to look like a luxurious spot, they are lacking incredibly when it comes to the safety of their residents. Do not lease here and pay outrageous prices for a filthy unsafe environment. Moving out as soon as I can.

  5. I’ve enjoyed my time at Crest! HUGE shoutout to Lacy for being super easy to talk to and to work with. She’s super understanding and genuinely cares about the residents. Everyone in that office is very helpful and welcoming anytime you walk into the office. Another shoutout to the maintenance team. During the winter ice storm/freeze this year, they came knocking on my door with space heaters since my heat went out. A couple of days later, they fixed the heat in my apartment. It was so relieving to not have to call the office 4, 5, or 6 times just to get them to fix it. I would highly recommend living here just based on the kindness of the people that run this community.

I can’t say enough great things about The Remington! I am a private home health care coordinator and have been in plenty of establishments. This is so much more…a community that makes people feel like they’ve moved into a neighborhood where they belong and are welcomed. The staff is so friendly and warm, they go out of their way to know everyone not only by name but personally. The activities are many and diverse. The management and support services professional, helpful and above the norm on what is offered in many other locations.

My father moved to The Remington March 15, just before our world changed in the United States. The procedures and restrictions utilized to keep all Remington residents safe were clearly communicated to my dad and to me as a family member. We were very satisfied at the safety precautions. We have found the staff and management to be professional, caring and responsive. The property is well cared for and clean. That said, my dad has really enjoyed the community, activities and food. He has made many friends and finds plenty to do. He even voluntarily got rid of his car because his day to day needs are satisfied nicely. We have had an excellent experience at The Remington.

I love the Remington at Valley Ranch. My mother has lived there for 6 months. Paula and Carol are fantastic. The front desk and other staff members are great as well. Everyone is so friendly and caring. They are all always there for us. My mother loves the food. The activities provide a great opportunity to get to know the other residents. It is so nice they have the affiliation with Borrowed Sisters and Klarus to make their services so convenient. My family is so thrilled that we found The Remington for my mother. She couldn’t be happier. We are so grateful to them for all they do!

I live here at West Fork and am proud to call it my home. If you like people and join in on activities you will love it here. If you are a grump and a nitpicker maybe not. We are a family here and do our best to welcome everyone. Come join us if you want a friend! We would love to have you!

This place is nice the staff is friendly small enough that you can learn the names of all the people who stay here food is good and they have tons of activities daily and off site trips to shopping restaurants and entertainment venues as well and the pricing is very affordable as well

Hot water off x 3 days. Not acceptable. This place is filled with seniors. Service and services have gone down consistently while the rent has gone up, since the start of the pandemic. Going to have to find a new home for our mother.

Our family member has been in the assisted living center for the past three months. The transitions from him living independently at home to being in the assisted living center was a wonderful experience due to the caring and very helpful staff. We feel the staff at Brookdale helped establish a routine and have been on top of the care my grandfather needs. They go above and beyond to communicate with our family when needed. The facility is clean and well staffed with caring nurses and aids. They encourage daily activities and social events. We feel Brookdale is the next best thing to family caring for him and peace of mind for our family that he is receiving individualized care.

This location is a hidden gem among retirement communities. We only had a couple weeks experience with the Assisted Living side of the facility, but the Independent Living side is absolutely excellent. My aunt only got to live there for a little less than a year before passing away, but she loved it there. The residents were very friendly and so were the staff. They really made the place feel like home. There were even members of the staff that came and attended my aunt’s funeral. Josh and some of the other staff feel like family. I ate lunch and dinner with her frequently, and the meals were always pretty good. The place had regular field trips and events, the expense of which was included with the rent. The location is in a reasonably safe part of town, near several churches and Krogers, and so on. West Fork was particularly helpful in aiding us as my aunt’s health rapidly declined. It was almost effortless to transition her from independent to assisted living, without too huge a change in price. I felt they did their best to meet all her needs right to the point where she needed a level of medical care that only a full hospital could provide. Irving in general has quite a lot to do for a small not-quite-suburb of Dallas that seniors would enjoy. The Senior Community Center has a very nice pool and the city’s libraries are great. The bu system (and the transportation provided by West Fork) make everything accessible. It was an entirely positive experience.
