I ran my car through the car wash and it came out clean. I have been through others that were actually starting to wear my paint, but no such problems here. I like the free vacuums and air to clean out the inside of your car.a week agoNo where does it say they close at 8pm I went through the wash no one said anything about closing in minutes and was extremely rude. The vacuums shut off mid use due to closing and no one informed anyone there. Waste of money.a month agoI signed up for the 3 month at 20 dollars a month deal and enjoyed my experience for the most part up until I called to cancel because I had no desire to pay over 40 dollars a month after those 3 months ended. A very nice lady told me well we can keep it at 20 from here on out for you and I was surprised she said I could do this and I happily said okay yeah I’ll keep it then. A few weeks after, I noticed that there was a charge for 40 dollars and so I called and got a rude older gentlemen that answered the phone (I’ve had a bad experience with this gentlemen before) where without looking at my account told me “no we don’t do that, it’s supposed to be 40 a month” and that’s when I decided I was absolutely done with this place and asked him okay I’d like to cancel then, can I get a refund for the unauthorized charge? Whereas he says “we don’t do refunds here.”Not a problem, I’m disputing the charge on my card and never setting foot here again.

a month agoI’ve been going to this place since before they changed the name. I prefer washing my car but now and then run it through a wash. The last two times I’ve had it done here is pathetic. The brushes in front never touch and instead go down the side of the vehicle. I noticed that with every vehicle going through the cycle. From headlight to headlight the brushes or anything never clean the grill. What’s the sense of having a car wash that doesn’t do the job?A young lady approached me and asked me if everything was okay. I explained to her that the brushes aren’t brushing and that more than half the vehicles are not being washed. It’s a waste of money. I don’t blame the workers, that falls on ownership to ensure folks are getting what they’re paying for. I pointed out the fact to other people getting their car washed and they were not happy.
If you drive it yourself or have choose the base package of having the interior/ exterior cleaned, go inside and watch your vehicle go through the brushes. It doesn’t work. The young lady apparently spoke to the GM inside and came out to tell me that the brush arms don’t touch and that’s what the bug spray is for?
Seriously, so the bug impacts and dirt is just supposed to fall off? I’ll wash it myself and save some money. Get a new brushing system or have a mechanical technician come out and service your system to work. Stop ripping customers off.
a month agoBuyers Beware (see photos below). Not pleased with the outcome of a $40+TIP interior/exterior wash.Interior: Floor mats not fully vacuumed, center console and cup holder area left extremely dirty, back seat area not cleaned or vacuumed. Rear cargo area left untouched. Exterior: Vehicle still dirty after wash in lower areas. It started to rain during my wash, my vehicle was left outside in the rain before being moved under covered section, wasn’t offered a rain-check.
All in all, high price, lackluster job, poor customer service. Will not be returning. There are much better places out there.
in the last weekI too have been a customer for years. The quality of service of late has been poor. The staff seems unhappy, there is absolutely no supervision, and my car and truck are not clean when finished. They move the seats and blast the air conditioning and make no attempt to return either to the original positions or settings.Time to look elsewhere for better service.
4 weeks agoI’m new to the area so I am only familiar with the Mister Car Washes in Texas. I didn’t realize they were any different than what I’m used to. I was expecting the same experience but I was sorely mistaken. The wash itself was at most 30 seconds from start to finish. I was so confused when I exited thinking surely there is more to it than this? The bird poop was still on my windshield and my car looked absolutely no different. The people who own this business should be embarrassed! I was also looking for the spot to vacuum out my car which is normally self service & free at other Mister Car washes.. yeah evidently that’s not a thing here? What did I leave a tip for? No one did anything for me.. except tell me I was good to leave. I was in visible shock upon exiting. I truly value my money and where I put it and I very much regret wasting it here. Get it together. This is shameful.2 weeks agoTerrible experience. Visited on 9/1 and car was not only not clean (like the reviews you see before this), it was also damaged. Before I left, a manager, who didn’t give me a name or contact, got my contact information and got back to me 9/5 with no definitive answer on what happened and no resolution. It’s now 9/11 and I still have yet to get any solution. I have called 8 times between 9/5-9/11 and have left one voicemail and yet to have anyone reach back out to me. I spent $47.80 (including tip) for something I could have done at home.

I’ve used mister car wash for about 2 years now with multiple cars I’ve owned with unlimited memberships and as of November 1st I have canceled my membership due to damages done to my wheels after going through and getting stuck mid way in the wash tunnel then reversing out of the and being sent back through by manager and getting stuck again and having to drive through the rest of the way. Claims department has denied anything to do with fixing damage done to my brand new $2400 in just rims on my truck. If you have a truck with wheels or anything nice at all do not bring it to mister car wash I have had no problem at top dog car wash or Clearwater car wash.
I literally just took my senior dads SUV through this car wash. I was always satisfied even it was Salty Dog car wash. This is the first time I used the car wash as Mister car wash. I just got home and wow am I disappointed!! $22.00 and the car is still dirty. Around the windows, especially the back window. Not worth the $22.00. Sanford is getting too big for its britches. This certainly is not worth the money 🙁 37 years old resident!!
The car wash was fine. What was uncomfortable was the sales associate at the payment center. He was very pushy trying to convince me to join a monthly plan even after multiple times of kindly saying no, he responded rudely.
Good car wash and some staff members are welcoming. However, their vacuums are nasty and it pretty bad shape. They don’t take well care of their equipment. Other than that decent car wash.
Been using Mr Carwash in Sanford for years and this last trip the other day it seems that they have reprogramed the wash equipment. I am fairly sure it is not doing as good a job as it has in the past and appeared to use much less water and soap.
Right before my car and heard there was a worker on a ladder adjusting something on the first bit of machinery that sprays your car. Maybe it wasn’t working correctly we’ll have to wait and see next time.
