They have a good selection of supplies (even though a little pricey) and really cool pets ♡ They had a couple cool lizards when I was there last and some really cute Guinea Piggies ♡ The staff was friendly and helpful!By qellez smith (3 months ago)I used to come here fairly often, but i’ve lowered that drastically. After seeing multiple dead mice, snakes with stuck shed, and just honestly pure animal abuse… I can’t bring myself to support this establishment. I came today, and it was my last straw. The cashier, i’m assuming was new; was exceptionally rude. She didn’t have any petco attire so at first I didn’t even think she was an employee. She had no name tag either. No greeting, or really any words from her. Also, Didn’t ask for my reward number, and when I asked her to enter it she got snippy & said to enter on the pin pad. I did, but she already finalized the transaction and my number never went through. - Reviews:Petsmart’s training program has been great! Jordan, was our trainer and she’s absolutely amazing! I love that you can go in there anytime they’re open to help social your pup too! They basically even guarantee their training programs. If your pup doesn’t graduate, for some reason, then as long as you came to class every week and actually worked on training they’ll help you redo the class.. of course that MAY NOT be the case forever, but the point is, they truly want you and your pet to be successful! (3 months ago)The staff are nice and they at least try to help even if they don’t know. I usually have advanced level questions though and I am impressed with there advice and service at times. I walked in at one minute to close and they not only smiled and greeted me kindly with seven other procrastinators in line but the employee that helped me at the register 10 minutes after closing time did her job as trained and took the time to try and get me to sign onto something. Then she informed the doors were shut off and instead of telling me to push hard, like every other time in my 45 years of life, she ran ahead of me with a smile opened the door for me. I am not good at names but everyone on shift Friday at closing was helpful and I would make sure and have them train others to behave in the same effective, respectful, and helpful way. This kind of service is lost now days and coming from a big chain company surprised me. I will take my business there from now on. My dog is very very timid and didn’t go to groomers the 1st 10 years of her life so has to be harder then the normal groom. These ladies do fantastic. Cuddles looks so good each time we get her back. We so appreciate all they do because grooming long haired dogs is no easy tqsk.. thank you for your wonderful care of my baby cuddles.By Leslie Allen (2 months ago)The new system is awful. I never get notification by email, text or call that my order is ready. Customer service kept me on the phone for 1.5 hours trying to figure out what happened to my orders they finally said it was because I did not pick up my orders within 3 days but they cancelled them the same day I placed order just go to the store there online system is awful. We have used this location for dog grooming several times. They always forget one of the paid for services or blame my dog for bad behavior. We’ve never had this issue with other groomers. In fact, most groomers compliment us on how lovely our dog is and how well trained and behaved our dog is.
I love the staff at this PetSmart. They’re always so kind and helpful. I haven’t actually met any employees who weren’t nice.
So far I have seen healthy animals every time I go in. They are all definitely not in the right type of enclosure or getting the light that they may or may not need, but they are being fed and like I said I haven’t seen any animals that look sick on the floor.
This is a great Petsmart. They had a great dog toy selection, which is why we’d gone in, to let our dog pick a new toy while we were in the area, and she found a couple winners. Also, as we were checking out, I saw these great compact, travel dog blankets that zipped up into a little pouch and had to get a couple.
Highly recommend.
Honestly the worst Petsmart I’ve been to. The crickets die within a day, the fish enclosures always have dead fish when I go. The poor birds need an actual cage not like the ones they have. It just doesn’t feel clean in there. I go all the way to the riverdale one from N. Ogden unless it’s close to closing if I absolutely need something.
These guys on 12th street always welcome people into the store and have things I need sometimes when others don’t! I’ve not had a bad experience with them yet!
