  1. Removery is INCREDIBLE!!! I was extremely upset when my tattoo didn’t turn out at all how I wanted it to, and less than a year later I turned to getting it removed. The staff here are super patient, understanding and kind, and they explained the process to me so well. They gave me an estimate on how many sessions it might take to remove, but my tattoo is the most difficult kind to remove since it was rather new and the artist really drove the ink in deep. I am so happy with the progress that’s been made and can’t believe how much it has faded already! Jenny (the manager) has always taken extremely good care of me and is very gentle with the laser, making sure I’m really numb before starting. They also stopped charging me for my sessions once we got past the original quote they gave me, which is a very honorable thing to do (and understandable as this process depends on so many factors with the tattoo). I couldn’t be happier with my experience here and they’ve come to feel like family to me. I will actually be sad once the tattoo is gone and I don’t have to go back! 😂

  2. I had my first session today on 4 tattoos. The experience was far better than I anticipated in terms of pain and client care overall. I was really nervous, but the three staff members I interacted with were really welcoming and reassuring. The technician herself was amazing and I felt so comfortable with her. She took care to make it as painless as possible and was very responsive to my needs. The actual process went really quick – I was in and out. Highly recommend Removery on Butler for all your removal needs!

  3. Love this place, the staff, and the experience. They were super thorough with setting expectations and making sure I’m comfortable with the process. I’ve done tattoo removal before, so I was aware of what to do/what to expect, but they still made sure that I was set up for success. The pricing was great for my package of tattoos and I’m happy I found them. Had great conversations with everyone there and they are great at what they do. Thanks!

  4. Just went for my first appt, get a quote , understand the process and set up my sessions to get one of my tattoos removed. I’m delighted with how kind, friendly and very professional they were. The studio is incredibly beautiful, clean and comfortable. Also happily surprised that the investment is a fair rate and not as costly as I had anticipated – the studio offers different plans to pay which makes it doable without bleeding your pocket. I’m excited to have my tattoo removed with them! 💜

  5. The team here is so amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and accommodating —from John and Giovanna at the front desk to the technician herself. I had a horrible experience when getting this tattoo, and I think it’s somewhat cosmic that I have so many kindhearted people helping me through the process of removing it. Thank you guys so much!     I saw that Mohawk Jesse was attending the Richmond Tattoo Convention and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to collect one of his pieces. I filled out his inquiry form on his website, and was lucky enough he was still available to tattoo that weekend. I received an email not long after submitting the form with additional information. Josh let me know how many days he wanted to tattoo, the cost of each day, and the total cost at the convention, along with the deposit. I have plenty of tattoos, complete sleeves, but never sat for longer than 10 hours, so I sent my concerns back to Josh that I was excited, but wanted to hear more about how other people deal with the pain and Jesse’s tattoo process. Josh immediately put me at ease by explaining all of the techniques Jesse uses to put the client at ease. I was then concerned about CBD products due to my line of work, and was again reassured it wouldn’t be an issue. I sent pictures of my leg and the deposit, as explained by Josh, and waited for the convention. At the convention, Jesse went over everything again and was prepared to tattoo. Jesse has a good understanding of when his clients need a break and tattoos with incredible speed. Aside from areas you expect to be more painful, ankles, inside of thighs etc, it was an incredibly smooth process. I sincerely appreciate the effort Jesse puts in to making what is a marathon of tattooing, really effortless for the client. I made sure to bring plenty of snacks, water, books, and podcasts and the time really ended up flying by and the best part is you have an incredibly large tattoo and didn’t have to go back 7 times to get it done! The sleeve panel is beautiful. I get compliments on it constantly and am truly enamored by the work. As far as the cost goes, Jesse tattoos FULL days and he tattoos FAST. Both my boyfriend and I have plenty of tattoos, quality tattoos. I have more american trad tattoos that don’t take quite as long, but my boyfriends sleeves are realism and they take time, skill, and money. Jesse’s prices are in line with every other QUALITY realism/surrealism artist out there. If you like his style and appreciate his work, the cost of his tattoos are absolutely worth knowing you are going to get a flawless piece. I had so many people let me know walking around it was the best piece they saw at the convention. Afterwards, local artists that attended said the same. Overall it was a great experience, I’m glad he travels to conventions and makes his work accessible to those outside of PA. Jesse and Josh make everything easy through their professionalism and willingness to answer questions.

    I am a tattoo artist who recently came here to enjoy a seminar hosted by the owner (and arguably one of the best artists in the state). Let me tell you, this place is top notch from the artists, the artistry, the atmosphere , the experience, the staff…I could go on and on about how great this place is and how much love Jesse (the owner) has for this space. He carefully selects each artist who visit and work here to be of high quality, and the results are amazing. As a picky person myself when it comes to getting tattooed,’I would gladly be tattooed by anyone in this studio. Top notch place, highly recommended. Also, they use the best tools and sanitation in the business across the board!

    I had been following Jesse’s work for 3 years prior to reaching out for consultation. His tattoos were just too interesting for me to not eventually get one. From the immediate start his booking manager, Josh, was sure to fill me in on the details and anything he missed was available in automated emails. I was well aware of his required signing forms and full price just from the application process. After signing the consultation contract and paying the agreed upon deposit I received multiple reminders leading up to the appointment and Josh readily answered any questions I had within a day. As for the day session, Jesse works incredibly quickly and his attention to detail was amazing. I had sent him pictures of my target area and he customized a unique tattoo to fit the area perfectly. He worked like a true professional and was aware of keeping me comfortable and worked diligently but gently through areas I said were painful. After several months the tattoo remains colorful and phenomenal and I won’t hesitate to book him again in the future.

    I waited around 8 months for an appointment with Jesse Yunker, due to him constantly being booked up. During this time he stayed in constant contact, spoke about design details, gave accurate price quoting, and an accurate time frame for completion. He was very professional during the pre-tattoo time and stayed that way throughout the 6.5 entire day sessions needed to complete my whole right arm. Quality of work is phenomenal and absolutely worth the price. Had some fun conversations while being tattooed as well! Highly recommend him and his shop, the other artist were always friendly every time I was there.
