What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Let me tell you this place is a must try in Polaris. Food is french style but they have a little bit of everything for everyone. As picture we ordered the parmesan chicken, French style pot roast, French onion soup and corn chowder. All were seasoned very well and the portion sizes are really big. They play a variety of mixed music which I love. There’s definitely something there for everyone. They also have a daily desert menu which is a added plus.

  2. We came here for breakfast today expecting the food to look like the picture …. (It doesn’t). Despite the food not looking as appealing as the pictures the restaurant posted, it is really tasty!! The muffin was absolutely delicious and our server even warmed it up.. YUM!! Our waitress Fallon was AMAZING ! She even walked us through the menu as it was our first time. Have great recommendations, and shared which meals gave you the best bang for your buck. I would 100% recommend her if you want good service. Overall a great meal, expected a little better based off of photos but wasn’t disappointed.

  3. We had a breakfast birthday celebration for my son. 4 out of 5 of us enjoyed every bite. My son was given a warm muffin with ice cream which he loved! This place is huge so there was no waiting for a table and the service was good. The food came out looking picture perfect. My husband and I plan to come back for dinner.

  4. Went there first thing in the morning. They were obviously busy being a breakfast joint.

Loved the serving size of their food. Their chicken and waffles was good. The Purdue big breakfast was okay, wasn’t a fan of the very sweet french toast but the eggs and sausages were pretty good.

Good to try at least once!

  5. We tried this place as a whim and I am so glad we did. The staff there were so friendly. The place was clean and had a warm atmosphere. The food was so good and at a good price! I never had eggs benedict and wow was I impressed and now a lover of poached eggs. My daughter had the waffles and she said they were perfect (she is picky too). The muffins were big, you could definitely share and you can get them in a pack to go! Over all I highly recommend this place to try!

The Refectory’s service was above and beyond. Every person who came to our table knew why we were there (anniversary) and congratulated us. It was an incredible experience. The food was unbelievably good. By fat the best dining experience that Columbus has to offer by a long shot. The sommelier was knowledgeable and walked us through the history of our wines and the waiter was an expert at the menu and guided us on the perfect choices. It was just a fantastic experience overall. HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a perfect fine dining experience!

One of the few fine dining places we could find that has a vegetarian 5 course tasting menu. I was not sure what to expect, but I was very pleased with what we got. Everything was very good. The menu supposedly changes daily, so I would be curious to see what other vegetarian options they have. It is expensive fine dining, but the food is worth it.

Amazing. My reservation was accidently made for a week ahead, but they still accommodated us. We had 5 course meal that was outstanding, served by knowledgeable staff. The owner was present as well…a kind and elegant man. Fine dining at its finest!!

A very relaxing dining experience. Romantic if you want to bring your significant other (mine unfortunately could not come). All the food was beautifully prepared and delicious and the wait staff were all very helpful and kind. Definitely a place to dine if you want to get your money’s worth and have a great dining experience

My boyfriend and I went for his birthday and had a great time. He got the chefs tasting and I got the vegetarian chefs tasting. Both were great. My favorite was the butternut squash soup. The chef sent out an additional course on the house and we got bread. They brought out an additional dessert for his birthday with a candle too. The ambiance was great, intimate, and romantic. Service was fantastic as well. Very beautiful and spacious restaurant that was an old church! Some of the courses were just okay but I had plenty of food and was satisfied. Next time I will just order an entree. Would definitely recommend 9/10

I walked here with a friend to purchase a dessert to go. It was later in the day on a Sunday so there wasn’t an abundance of options but enough to have a selection. I got a vanilla yuletide log and eclair and my friend got a chocolate chip croissant and chocolate mousse. 🍫 🥐 We were only inside for maybe 4 minutes but the restaurant seemed French bakery inspired and cozy. I’d like to come here for lunch or dinner sometime. 🍽

The perfect place for a bridal shower brunch! I cannot say enough how amazing it was! We had so much fun. All the guests loved the atmosphere and the food was absolutely delicious. Gabby and Charlotte were especially a joy to work with. They made the planning process so easy, and created a beautiful set up for us. Thank you to you both for helping to make my bridal shower amazing!

Fantastic place. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Beautiful place, kind workers, good food. I included the menu as well in my review. The food was so fresh and delivered quickly. Affordable as well! Get the chocolate croissant when you go, it was amazing!

It’s a fun place to go too. Will remind you of French eateries. The only issue is seating. They seem to be short on staff so every time we go we have to clear a table for us to sit. Next there king cake isn’t the New Orleans style king cake . We didn’t like that much. However, get a seat next to the fireplace and enjoy the atmosphere of the place. Just know you may feel rushed when ordering for your first time there. But just take your time.

So delicious. I went with my teen daughter. We had coffee, fresh squeeze OJ, quiche Lorraine, almond croissant, plain croissant, omelet w. toast and a coconut macaroon. Only complaint is weak wifi and coffee but strong enough.
