What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. Do it yourself car wash. You can purchase a car wash anywhere from 7 dollars to 28 dollars. Other folks purchase a membership and an go when ever they like. I am lucky to get a monthly car wash. The best park are the vacuums.

If you don’t want a car wash for two dollars you can use unlimited car vacuum. This is great to clean the kids mess out of the car and not have a limit in time.

Very busy on Sunday in April!

  2. This car wash is convenient. I do delivery, so it enables me to swing by right off the highway before or after work. Generally things are smooth but I like the other Chico Surf Thru on Esplanade. It’s far more easier to access the Forest Ave drive through once you know how. The Esplanade Surf Thru is very busy allot of the time except for on off-hours right before they close. They do close somewhat early but they’re open on Sunday. The monthly service is far more reasonably priced. It does require a two month commitment. I highly recommend it. The district customer service is wonderful so if there’s an issue they will fix it. Give them a couple of days to get back to you. I buy the cheapest car wash. I don’t know what the more expensive ones are like. Yes my car does sometimes still need a little more attention but to Surf Thru’s credit my car is sometimes very dirty to start with. Plus if there’s any dirt left on it I simply drive back through. Take the monthly plan. You’ll be glad you did.

  3. Not worth it. $17 dollar car wash, first car of the morning and I should of just washed it at home. Dryer doesn’t even take water off a basic vehicle and too much soap gets caught in spots. I dont know if tire shine is included at this price but the tires came out dull as well. Rip off.

  4. Great place to get your car washed! We got the rainbow wash. Afterwards we went into the vacuum area and they have the best vacuum area. Really easy to use very quickly.
I highly recommend Surf Thru for a great car wash!

  5. I went through the car wash the first time and pulled over to vacuum to notice that there was soap residue on my right side. After speaking to the attendant and going another 2 times through the car wash I went home to notice an employee stuck their price of gum on the side of my car. I never made a stink or problem about the situation but this is over the top. By the way I could not receive a refund.

What Services Do You Get in a Touchless Car Wash?

A touchless car wash is a type of automated car wash that uses high-pressure water jets and specialized detergents to clean the exterior of a vehicle without making physical contact. This type of car wash is ideal for vehicles that have delicate paintwork or for owners who want to avoid any potential damage that could be caused by brushes or other physical contact.

Here are some of the services that are typically included in a touchless car wash:

  • Pre-soak: Before the high-pressure wash begins, a pre-soak is applied to the vehicle’s exterior. This pre-soak is designed to loosen dirt, road grime, and other contaminants.
  • High-pressure wash: Once the vehicle has been pre-soaked, high-pressure water jets spray the exterior to remove dirt, dust, and debris.
  • Detergent application: Specialized detergents are used to help break down stubborn stains and remove any remaining dirt or grime.
  • Spot-free rinse: After the high-pressure washing and detergent application, a spot-free rinse is used to remove any remaining soap residue and leave the vehicle with a streak-free finish.
  • Drying: Depending on the car wash, drying methods can vary. Some touchless car washes use air blowers to dry the vehicle, while others may use a combination of air blowers and microfiber towels.
  • Additional services: Some touchless car washes may offer additional services such as tire and wheel cleaning, undercarriage cleaning, and interior vacuuming.

Overall, a touchless car wash offers a convenient and efficient way to keep your vehicle clean without the need for physical contact. It helps to protect the integrity of your vehicle’s paintwork while effectively removing dirt and grime from the exterior.

For how dirty my car was, it did a good job. All of the hand washers were being used so I went through the automatic. This place is usually pretty busy.

Great little car wash with affordable prices and easy access. It has a nice detailing section too if you need to do that after your car wash or just need to do some cleaning on the inside of your vehicle. I come here often.

Super cheap and lots of options for cleaning. For $2-$5 the self wash is great. Fast and efficient cleaning definitely worth the cost for a quick and detailed clean. I always go here when I need to wash my car and don’t want to spend alot or worry about automatic washes damaging my paint or soft top. Worth a visit!

I usually love this place, I have a red book card . Today was a major miss though, and it includes car damage to my brand new car… Today was a mediocre car wash job. I was pretty frustrated because I opened my car door and it was obvious that they didn’t vacuum my dog hammock… They typically always vacuum it and it’s no problem… I asked the guy about it and the guy said oh well it’s just gonna cause more trouble if we try to vacuum it which doesn’t make sense for so many reasons but the biggest one is that I come here often and they’ve never had an issue with it before. I thought it was weird that my car came back so quickly, but didn’t think much of it. I was gonna let it go… Then I walked around my car and found several instances of black smudges… The guy said it was from tree sap, but it was kind of surprising that no one tried to get it off… I called them over and they got it off within a few minutes. It was no big deal. None of these things are that hit or miss but then I got to my car and I noticed that they totally scratched the buttons on my steering wheel. It’s a brand new 2023 car and I’m super livid that the crew here would scratch it up. I don’t have any other scratches anywhere else but this pissed me off. When I was grabbing my car, the guy was paying extra close attention to the steering wheel, but didn’t say anything… Even acknowledging that they did it would’ve gone a huge deal but I’m pissed today was a terrible experience and I’m really frustrated. I would like the button on my car to be fixed.

Update to my last review: I was contacted within an hour or less of my review and spoken to by the manager and asked if there was anything they could do to fix this situation. They agreed to take me this morning to finish off the job, turns out there was a minor miscommunication and there’s no true fault here. They did a phenomenal job on the final detail, very pleased and their customer service and ability to rectify concerns is phenomenal. Thanks again, Scrubbs team! My car feels brand new again ✨

Never again. Paid $300 for wash and interior detail. At first all looked fine. My mistake for not inspecting the work. First my driver rear door was left with some type of film I had to wipe off. Then I noticed a plastic flashing piece around my windshield was missing I can’t say for sure Scrubbs is responsible but I don’t rember it being missing prior to my visit. Then when I open the back passenger door the rubber seal fell . All but one of the fastners were gone. The rubber was still intact but fastners were gone. My car is very well maintained only 6 years old with 40,000 miles on it. I know this was in perfect condition before I left it with them. So now on top of paying $300 for a mediocre detail and bad wash, I have to pay for repairs. I’ll stick with the chevron car wash.

The manager, Makaela is straight up rude. Just straight disrespectful. Offered zero assistance. Everyone else is always wonderful, the counter girl very respectful and polite. . Gigi…I love it here, but you have to respect the person paying for services. After my car was washed and got all the extras for $65…I was told my car is old. My car is 4 years old with 70,000 miles in perfect condition. I had my car detailed 4 days earlier, but I drove over Donner Summit and it was dirty on the outside. They missed spots everywhere. When I brought to the ladies attention, she very quickly spoke to me in a language I didn’t understand. I left in order to not cause a scene. Never again Gigi. I have photos if your interested.

Follow their workers guidance when you line up for the automated car wash! They do a pretty good job. Check your vehicle any missed spots when they call you when it’s done.

The Best Time to Get a Car Wash

Keeping your car clean is important for both its appearance and its value. But with so many factors to consider, it can be hard to know when the best time to get a car wash is.

In this article, we’ll take a look at the factors that affect the best time to get a car wash, and provide some tips for choosing the right time for you.

Factors to Consider

There are a few factors that you’ll want to consider when choosing the best time to get a car wash. These include:

  • The weather: If it’s raining or snowing, it’s best to wait until the weather clears before getting your car washed. This will prevent the water from drying on your car’s paint and causing water spots.
  • The sun: The sun can be harsh on your car’s paint, so it’s best to avoid getting your car washed during the hottest part of the day. If you must get your car washed during the day, try to do it in the shade.
  • The traffic: If you’re concerned about traffic, it’s best to avoid getting your car washed during rush hour.
  • Your schedule: If you’re on a tight schedule, you may want to get your car washed during the day. However, be aware that car washes are typically more crowded during the day.
  • The type of car wash: If you have a luxury car, you may want to avoid getting it washed at a self-service car wash. These car washes can use harsh chemicals that can damage your car’s paint.

Choosing the Best Time

Once you’ve considered the factors above, you can start to choose the best time to get your car washed. Here are a few recommendations:

  • Early morning: Early morning is a great time to get your car washed. The sun isn’t as harsh, and there’s typically less traffic.
  • Late evening: Late evening is another good time to get your car washed. The sun is starting to set, so there’s less risk of water spots.
  • Cloudy days: If it’s a cloudy day, there’s no need to wait for the sun to go down. You can get your car washed on a cloudy day without worrying about water spots.

Tips for Getting a Car Wash

In addition to choosing the best time to get a car wash, there are a few other things you can do to make sure your car wash is safe and effective. These tips include:

  • Read reviews: Before you choose a car wash, read reviews to see what other people have experienced. This will give you an idea of the quality of the wash and the customer service.
  • Ask about the cleaning chemicals: Some car washes use harsh chemicals that can damage your car’s paint. Ask about the cleaning chemicals that are used at the car wash and make sure they are safe for your car.
  • Be prepared to wait: Some car washes can be very busy, so be prepared to wait.
  • Inspect your car after the wash: After the car wash, inspect your car for any damage. If you see any damage, report it to the car wash immediately.

By following these tips, you can get a car wash that is safe for your car and keeps it looking its best.
