What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. I’m absolutely impressed with Genesis. Coach Bert has cultivated such an awesome gym. The moment you walk in you feel welcomed and part of the team. The community is second to none, it definitely has a family vibe. I’ve been blown away with the coaches and classes. The lessons are thorough and thought out. The coaches are intentional and patient. I’m so happy and humbled to find such an awesome place to train. There are many great gyms to train at in DFW. Genesis is definitely one of the best. If you are looking to try Jiu Jitsu for the first time or a seasoned upper belt I could not recommend Genesis more. Come train with us!

  2. Awesome place. Great place to learn, Jui Jitsu, or kick boxing. They teach ages from 4 to adults. They give you one week, try out for free!

  3. Professional, welcoming and fun! Highly recommended taking a class here. My son loves the coaches and learning and having the discipline that comes with the art of Jui Jitsu

  4. I dropped in to roll here while in Fort Worth for business. Bert welcomed me to visit the 6AM class on a Friday. Huge amount of mat space and lots of windows. We worked for a half hour on the single leg takedown before open rolling began. Every round with someone different showed the wealth of experience they have here. Great family environment and felt so welcomed. The guys were absolute beasts but were totally safe. Totally recommend this gym! Thanks,

  5. Me and my brother started a week ago and have had an absolute blast training, the coaches are awesome and the atmosphere is very welcoming to newcomers

A lot of gyms focus on techniques that are impractical. At Travis’ gym you will only learn techniques that actually work. There are many students who drive an hour or more, passing up other gyms along the way, to train on this mat with these people. I can’t think of anything else that speaks more to the quality of instruction, environment, and training partners than that. I’ve trained here for 6 years.

I’ve been training here for 3 years now and I’m so happy to have picked this gym. Travis and all the coaches here are highly accredited and will push you to be as great as you want to be. I loved having the beginner class as an option when I first started to get a good introduction to the sport and learn the basics. We have a lot of girls at our gym, which is one of my first attractions here. I’ve meet some of my bestfriends here and so glad I get to share this journey with them. As a retired college athlete this was the best thing I did to get to have a purpose to workout again. Best thing I’ve done for myself physically and mentally! Only wish I would have started sooner. #Needtotrain

My 6 yo son is maturing and developing in so many ways from training at Team Lutter. The coaches are amazing and strike a balance between fun and discipline. It took about 5 classes for my son to settle in but once that happened, he went all in with his training. Now some of his closest friends are the kids he trains with. Team Lutter has made me into the ultimate helicopter parent with my head exploding with pride for my son’s hard work and accomplishments in Jiujitsu. I love the community element of Team Lutter and the vested interest that all the parents share for all the kids out there on the mat. I recently started training too. (As an older adult) The fitness element is next level and the Jiujitsu training is elite (which I am not). I’m over my head and on a steep learning curve but loving every class. I highly recommend team Lutter for children and adults.

Travis Lutter gym is an incredible place to learn martial arts from an experienced team. As someone that came in with zero martial arts experience, the team at Lutter gym were very encouraging as I jumped into this new endeavor. Every single coach I have had at the gym has been phenomnal. They train hard at Team Lutter but everyone treats you with respect and dignity. Can’t recommend it enough! Great for beginners and vets alike!

I’ve been training here for 6 years now and it’s still the best decision I’ve made regarding physical fitness, self defense, and mental health therapy. Travis Lutter is a world class and well respected coach who mentors and develops you to achieve whatever goals you may set for yourself; he doesn’t just give you his opinion, he also practices what he preaches and embraces the training with his students. When you join this gym you will be training in a great facility, learning top notch techniques, able to choose from a wide variety of class times, and gaining a great gym family (the kind that holds you accountable and picks you up when you’re down). The atmosphere here is so welcoming and diverse that it’s suitable for families, hobbyist, and world champions! Start your legacy today!!!!

I trained here for a short time around 2020 when I was a purple belt and it is a great place to train. Roberto is a great methodical instructor with a unique approach teaching body movements and then tying those movements into the move or lesson of the day. I really liked this. Plus he is an absolute beast on the mat! And Tracy is an amazing black belt who really knows her stuff. She is very tough on the mat! She has a wealth of knowledge and is an exceptional teacher and communicator. She is a great adult teacher but also is fantastic with the kids program as well. Overall this place has a great atmosphere, whether training for competition or for family fun. I really appreciate them and think that the training is top notch but also a great value compared to other facilities. Plus they have a great black judo instructor and judo classes.

A fantastic school to train at! I would say what ultimately drove me to choosing Keller Elite, after trialing 4 different schools, was the way skills/technique were taught. The way skills are drilled and taught in a continuation manner/flow into the next skill has been one of my best experiences as a student (previously trained TKD 10 years). On top of this the people here are fantastic. From the instructors to the students – all are very willing to help new guys! Thank you, Roberto and Tracy!

We drive over 40 minutes to go here. This gym has been our home away from home for 4 years now. We originally started to help my son behave better and as a way to burn off extra energy. Never did we think it would turn into what it has, another family. He has made some amazing friends here. We love the instructors and my son loves the classes (there are days we are there for 4 hours!) We are so lucky to have found a gym where the students recieve so much attention from the instructors and really help them grow a love for Jiu Jitsu. You wont be sorry if you make the choice to try this place out!

I cannot say enough good things about Keller Elite Martial Arts! Our 12 year old son joined recently and the atmosphere and the methods they use to teach are fantastic. We are so proud that our son is now part of the family up there!

I’ve been training at Keller Elite MMA for a little over a year and a half. It keeps getting better and better. Not only are there a ton of classes that make it easy to get training into my schedule, the prices are very affordable, but also the value is incredible. Every time I’m rolling with other grapplers I do quite well and when I mention training with Prof Tracy or Prof Roberto they not only know the name but they speak of them with respect. It’s an amazing family environment and I would recommend it to anyone in my capacity as a parent, a grappler, and a doctor.
