  1. When my daughter was 6yo she bugged me for months to get her into Karate. Summer 2021, I came across a trial offer with MX Martial arts. We decided to give it a try. She LOVED it. We’ve been part of the MX family for 10 months now. The coaches are fantastic with kids. They have a magical way to get them all to listen, but while having fun. My daughter loves the personalized handwritten postcards she gets in the mail cheering on her progress. The coaches even take time out of their day to call and see how my daughter is liking the class and if there is anything they can do to improve. These extra touches of above and beyond are definitely appreciated and noticed.

The coaches that work with the members are awesome, they are patient and spend quality time assisting, my child has learned to stay focus for longer times and has gained a higher respect for himself. He is very proud of himself and likes to practice to keep up the skills since the coaches make it fun, I would recommend this martial arts studio to anyone. They won’t disappoint you. They encourage the kids always to go outside of their comfort zones to try something new.

  3. We haven’t had children in martial art programs before MX but I can easily say this program is exceptional! The coaches are so good with the kids. They take time to teach, coach, and guide. Our son has struggled to find an activity he enjoys, UNTIL NOW!! He loves and looks forward to coming to class each week. Thank you MX team for all your awesome and professional work each time.

  4. The MX coaches and facility are awesome. This is the first thing my son has done and he loves it and loves his coaches. All the coaches make him feel special and great about what he is learning and his progress. It’s awesome that when each kid walks in they say hello and call the kids by their names. I would recommend MX to anyone.

  5. We LOVE MX Martial Arts! My daughter has been training here for about 4 months now and they have gone above and beyond to make not only her, but our entire family feel welcomed! 🙂 Everyone is so kind and they greet my daughter by name every single time she walks through the front door. The coaches (and front desk staff) are AMAZING with the kids and you can tell they truly love what they are doing and are happy to be there! My daughter was pretty shy when she first started and now she is raising her hand to volunteer and loves helping lead the class and demoing skills for the other students! Try a free class and you will fall in love too!

    Having a great experience at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. Great environment for learning. It’s defensive training not fighting. All the teachers and students are really nice and welcoming. Everybody wants you to learn. It’s not an ego trip to outdo somebody. You get to see the move demonstrated several times from different angles then you get to practice it with a partner. Its taking me a bit to get the hang of some of it because I am totally new to martial arts but all the guys I have partnered with have been patient and helpful for me to learn. This Groupon deal is a no brainer great deal. You get the uniform to keep and unlimited training for a month to really try it out to see if its something you want to continue with. My wife, son and daughter have all been taking these classes too and we all like it and look forward to learning more.

    My son and I have been a part of GJJ Chandler for almost two years. The instructors are very knowledgeable and take great care of their students. The gym is very friendly and welcoming to new students or experienced martial artists. I highly recommend it!

    After 7 years in traditional Korean martial arts I’ve always wanted to try my hand at jiu jitsu and the ground game. I started by signing my son up to get a feel for the school and instructors. Coach Michael is amazing with the kids and that’s what sold me. I then signed up for a trial and have thoroughly enjoyed the classes and all of the instructors are great practitioners and teachers. I’ve since been a member for a month and am learning a great deal. Also, my son loves it as well. While the martial art i practiced before provided pivotal self defense knowledge, it was lacking ground combat. And given most altercations end up on the ground it’s vital to have at least a basic understanding of this aspect of self defense. Only positives to note, no negatives whatsoever. -Nick

    Been to 2 other Jiu Jitsu gyms before deciding on Gracie Jiu Jitsu in chandler. I felt welcome here from the beginning and they have a easy to follow structure for the classes. Learning Jiu Jitsu is a really fun challenge and everybody here is super helpful.

    My kids have been to a few jiujitsu academies growing up and this one was by far their favorite. They have been training at MAJJ for almost two years and they are excited to train every time!
