My parents toilet was plugged for 4 days, they had to use the public one down the hall, ridiculous. They no longer deliver packages to the room, residents have to go downstairs and get them. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable. The entire place has an excellent atmosphere. Janet is AWESOME!!! We needed a place to live ASAP, as our house had sold much quicker than we expected and needed a place fast!. We applied on 8/18 and had a signed lease on 8/20. Just incredible and professional service from start to finish. Janet is friendly and personable and really cares about you as a person, not just a renter/buyer. GREAT JOB AND KUDDOS TO JANET!!!!
I can only give this Yes community 3stars. I moved in here in2019!! I rent a single wide mobile home here and since I moved here there have been 4 different managers and multiple maintenance people and right now June 20, 2022 there are NO MAINTENANCE STAFF!! The last few hired maintenance workers worked here for just a few months and the last two hires stayed only a couple of weeks!! Renters expect to have maintenance for any issues or problems that need to be addressed in a timely manner!! I had a wall cupboard in the kitchen at least a year and a half ago fall off the wall in the middle of the night that scared me out of my sleep!! This cupboard had glass doors that shattered along with many of my wine glasses, my grandmother’s antique dishes and Corning ware casserole dishes!! I have renter’s insurance but with a $500.00 deductible!! I didn’t know how to evaluate replacement costs for the antique dishes and the casserole dishes so I never filed a claim!! But I have called several of the office managers since this happened and still waiting a response to replacing the wall cupboard!! My washing machine has been making loud grinding noises for the last almost year and I have asked for a washing technician to come and see what is going on before it breaks down. No action had been taken!! My one bathroom toilet seat has broken and remains that way with no maintenance guy to fix it!! Since I moved in the water has been turned off quite a few times because of breaks in the waterlines which are probably needing replaced but getting patched work fixing!! Very frustrating at times!! Many of the streets within the village are in bad shape and need repair!! Yet this new Yes community has raised my rent and charges for pets a$25-00 fee and you have to take care of yard work, mowing and snow removal!! There are really no social activities, no swimming pool but I have been told years ago there was a pool!! Only a few residents here have kids because it’s supposed to be a retirement community for seniors!! Guess some grandparents are caring for their grandchildren?? This is NOT located in a very good area of the city off Reynolds Road!! Lots of car breaking hyssop was mine and security is questionable!! So unless many improvements are made people are moving t and out slot!! I am thinking about it myself!! Just Saying!!
I have family who lives here, their place is a gorgeous double wide. The management will cut the grass for 10. a month, and will basic do everything possible to help out their residents. Although it’s not completely a senior village just yet, but they’re working on it. Their rent also seems to be very fair, for the accommodations.
I would give no stars if I could did the same thing to my dad. Janet told him they took the section 8 voucher got him in there and later said they didn’t. It’s been hell going back and forth about it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this place they are deceitful. They are over priced purposely so your lmha voucher won’t get approved.
