- Reviews:I’ve lived at Overture Cotswold since June of 2022 and still love calling it home. The apartments are beautiful, spacious and quiet. The complex offers many activities for the residents and, although I can’t participate in many because I still work, the events I have been able to attend were a blast! As for the staff, every interaction I’ve had with them, from the leasing office to maintenance, has been pleasant and helpful. When I was moving to Charlotte from out of town, I had to find an apartment fast due to starting a new job. Monica, one of the leasing agents, showed me the apartment virtually and went above and beyond in helping with getting me moved in, as she knew time was of the essence. I’ve had nothing but great experiences since I moved to Overture Cotswold. It is seriously a great place to live!By GA Sauer (3 months ago)I love the family atmosphere that we have here. We are cruising again! Getting together having more activities now is much better getting out of Covid progressively every thing is improving. The staff was exceptional in making my mother and I feel very comfortable and welcome on our tour of their residence and so my mother leased that day and is beyond happy to have moved into Overture Cotswold!! Everyone there, residents and staff, have done a great job in making her part of the community! Living here has been wonderful. There are many reasons that my decision to move here has been a good one. The number one reason has been the staff. Mary, Kim, Taylor, Stephanie, and Marcelo have used their expertise and experience to make this place a real home. The amenities are awesome: continental breakfast, sponsored activities, and special events. The resort style living includes a community clubhouse, beauty salon, two fitness rooms, a movie theater, and a swimming pool. The other residents are another reason I am glad I call this place home. They are warm and friendly and I have already made many friends. We are close to a mall called Cotswold Village, medical centers, and other businesses. The community manager Sherita Anderson, is curteous, caring emphatic and very professional. She is not over bearing but does enforce all rules that the company states that she should follow to maintain the the security and safety of the residents. John, the maintenance professional is,curteous,hospital always has a smile and does an efficent and great job at keeping the premises clean and doing the jobs that requires his skills. I want to say it was the best kept secret.
I am so thankful for being told about Dorchester.
Also, it’s only gotten better not worse.
Excellent maintenance, food. Not only that our management truly improved, I must give credit to Susan. She adds a whole other element to Dorchester. Not only do the tenants like and respect her, her co-workers do as well. She’s never too busy and always working.
We had the monthly birthday today. BTW, it was great fun, good music and dancing. Of course, as usual there was Susan cheering us on.

The Dorchester and The Manor have always been a great place for seniors looking for Independent Living Apartments. I recently toured again after a few years and the updates that have gone on are beautiful! The apartments are spacious and lovely! They have a lot of fun activities going on all the time and some major events every year that are so much fun to attend! Joy, the manager and Michelle, the activity director are always welcoming. I have recommended The Manor and The Dorchester to may seniors in the Community.
I have lived at The Dorchester over four years. I continue to be blessed and thankful to live here. It is a great community with a wonderful Staff. They truly care about the residents. When there is an issue in my apartment, a Staff member always responds quickly. This week my air conditioner was not working. With the heat index over 105, Luis came immediately to check the ac unit. He worked diligently locating the problem and now it is working! He has a wonderful and positive attitude and cares about the residents. Thank you so much.
My grandmother is 95 and lives at the Dorchester. She has had such a nice experience there. It is a lovely place and everyone is so kind. She loves the activities – bingo, socials, monthly birthday celebration, yappy hour, excursions on the van and many more. Lunches and dinners in the dining room are something else she really enjoys. I joined her tonight with my 2 year old niece. We had a great dinner and excellent service. Denise, Krystal and Que all took such good care of us!
I have just recently become a resident at the Dorchester. I am so enjoying living here and especially being greeted by the Receptionist, Lisa Honeycutt! She is always most helpful and friendly to all the residents. Thank you, Lisa!!
