A super nice open green gulf course to play a great game of gulf is always nice but I must say if you are moving to Heather gardens it’s a place of old lady’s being mean to each other and than their is that one big group of rich people that make it a living hell for the rest of the people their I would know my grandma and grandpa live there… but their is also a lot of different buildings and I can’t say it’s like that for every blinding their😉

  2. Nice Executive 9 hole course. Relatively tough greens, but mostly forgiving fairways. My Dad’s home course, so he manages to beat me every time I play him here. Would give 5 stars for a single win. (The last is in jest, in case it doesn’t come across that way). Seriously, the only thing that would make it better would be another good Par 5 hole, or making the one there is slightly harder.

  3. Very nice retiement community. Mix of midrise highrises, townhomes, & duplexes. 200 acres of beautiful grounds with mature trees. Played the 9 hole Par 32 golf course that winds through the community. Nice course & only $12 as a nonresident, using my own pullcart. Had a great lunch at the on site restaurant, Rendezvous. I will definitely be back again!

  4. I enjoy and frequent the “1st Saturday of the month” ballroom dance. These are held every 1st Saturday of each month for both their residents, as well as outside guests. Ladies If you do not bring a partner “Dance Hosts” are here to dance with you. And, light refreshments are served. Cost is $8.00 for outside guests.

  5. Visit with family ❤️ ate at the restaurant Randevu (spelling??) Excellent food,staff, atmosphere with live music. A lot of fun.

    My mom made her decision to move to Independent living at Garden Plaza this last summer. She lived alone for several years after my dads passing, and she started to feel very isolated. She is a young 86! Her best friend lived in Assisted Living there until her passing and we were all impressed with the care and attention she received. When you walk into the main entrance there is a feeling of warmth. Mom chose a one bedroom apartment and we all agree how cozy it is and how much we feel “at home” when we visit her! The staff are always very helpful and kind to mom and to us. Their staff is a huge plus at Garden Plaza! Mom can have enjoy all her meals prepared for her. When she attends the monthly staff/ residents meeting, residents may bring up concerns which are addressed and staff try to keep everyone updated on any changes occurring. There are many activities that mom can choose from, and she has been enjoying Bingo and Happy Hour. Her feelings of isolation are gone and we haven’t seen mom this happy for many years. Best decision she’s ever made!!!

    From the moment we drove into the parking lot and then entered the building, we knew this would be the perfect place for our mom. The grounds are immaculate, the buildings are resort style and the staff is amazing. They ask for the residents’ feedback on activities, the way the facility is operating and even the meals. Our mom is very happy here and we would highly recommend Garden Plaza of Aurora.

    In 2010, my Mother moved into the Independent Living Facility at Garden Plaza of Aurora. My Mother, brother and sister have been extremely pleased with the quality of the facility, the professionalism of the staff, excellent entertainment and activity options available and the quality of the food. It has been important to us that my Mother was able to quickly get involved and find wonderful people and activities. In late 2014, my Mother had to move into the Assisted Living Facility at Garden Plaza of Aurora. The staff made this transition smooth and uneventful for my Mother and the family. The quality of the assistance to my Mother has been outstanding. We have no worries about her getting quality care or being safe and we receive feedback as necessary from the staff. The staff cares about the people living there. I find it a pleasure to visit with the staff whenever I am in the facility visiting my Mother. She has been able to continue with the activities and entertainment she got use to and is able to take occasional shopping trips with the other residents. My family and I recommend you take a look at Garden Plaza of Aurora if you are looking for an Independent or Assisted Living Facility for yourself or a family member.

    My mother recently moved to Garden Plaza and our experience has been fabulous – the assistance I received in getting her moved in (she came directly from a rehab facility after a hospitalization) was great, and the residents are very friendly and helpful. The staff’s responsiveness to my questions and concerns has been prompt and often beyond my expectations. There are many great activities, and a well-kept facility. Mom loves the food, as well. We’re looking forward to many more years of enjoyment at Garden Plaza!

    My parents moved into Garden Plaza almost two years ago. I had looked at several other facilities and felt the facility was the best when comparing quality of amenities, apartment sizes, and staffing. We have not been disappointed! It is a great retirement community. My Mother is now in the Assisted Living side and is getting outstanding attention, services, health monitoring, all in a beautiful setting and facility.

    Overture Central Park is the best place to live. I’ve lived here for 7 years and it’s the best decision I could have ever made. We have the very best Manager without a doubt. She always goes above and beyond to make her residents happy. If any Overture Central Park Resident is bored living here it’s their own fault. We have weekly mix and mingles, daily cards, ping pong, bingo, mahjong, monthly birthday parties, grab & go breakfast Monday-Friday, wind down Wednesdays and I’m sure I’ve left out many other activities. I must remember that we. also have the best Leasing Agent in the Overture Central Park Office. She is friendly, and always greets everyone with a smile, that’s why we keep our residents for years and fill any vacant apartments quickly. Additionally, our maintenance department is ready and willing to repair any residence’s work orders quickly and professionally. Also our Maintenance Chief is called on several times a week to repair maintenance problems at the other Overture Facilities. Overture Central Park should win any awards and contest without a doubt. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live.

    I’m a new resident at Overture, and as such, my experience here has been nothing short of wonderful from the application process to the move in and now getting to know other residents. Any problem we had were immediately addressed by Chamine, Sarah or maintenance. I have never lived anywhere where the staff has been so friendly and responsive. Both Chamine and Sarah interact freely with the residents and make us feel like one big family. I moved from an apartment where there was no interaction with management and no sense of community within the place. This is just what I wanted. I’m only sorry I didn’t know about this place several years ago.

    Great place to live! Lots of nice people and our staff is really special! They really care about us and do all they can to be helpfuul to us-when things break, they fix them as quickly as possible and are always friendly and nice! When a pipe breaks or there is an unexpected leak, they try to get things fixed as quickly as possible and always apologizing to us for the inconvenience!
