What People Are Saying: 5 Customer Reviews

  1. It’s been a lot of years coming. I have not been a fan of most of Chef Chad’s previous ventures. We both know I wasn’t the target audience either. He remembers my views all too well. Last night, he proved he can make a restaurant where I am a target audience. Given the place was pretty full and it was only the second day it was opened, hopefully, many others are a target audience too.
We started with the French Onion Soup and Oysters. they were both excellent. Unlike so may places, the oysters still had the brine in the shell. Huge kudos for that.
I went with the Moules Frites. You can see from the pictures it was large, and the mussels in the broth were excellent. The wife went with the Duck à l’Orange. The orange sauce was not some thick sweet sauce like American places did in the 70’s. It was like the old school real sauce that enhanced the well cooked sauce.
We finished with the Crème Brûlée and a very nice conversation with Chad and his wife Kimber. We hashed out the old days and learned so much about where he wants things to go in his future.
We could not have had a better time. There are also a lot of dishes we still want to eat. Since Chef will no doubt see this, there was a $15 corkage on the ticket.

  2. Delicious and the environment is great. I love the open kitchen. I highly recommend the prime rib and the orange duck. The beef was cooked a bit well done at first, we told the server and he gave us a new one that’s medium rare.
Bone marrow is also good and oyster.
The onion soup is not the best I’ve had, too salty for me, but it’s cook correctly and you might like it.
    Dessert is great. Loved it.
Service is average, actually not quite satisfied when the waitress asked us whether we want the dessert menu the moment the entree was put on the table, felt like she wanted to rush us out.

  3. Great atmosphere and superb service when we ate here! The food was also very delicious! The ambiance really made the experience, as it was classy and very French feeling, considering it’s a French restaurant. There aren’t many French restaurants in the area, either, so it’s a needed addition to the area! Love the bar area, too.
We had the salmon, chicken, steak and fries, and I think the pork. All great 🙂

  4. We were a little underwhelmed by our appetizers (escargot and ratatouille) but we LOVED our entrees (salmon and steak). Like seriously, it was the best steak I’ve ever had. The service was good and it’s a great looking place. We also really enjoyed our dessert. We will for sure come back again!

  5. WOW WHERE HAS THIS DINING EXPERIENCE BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE?! 🤩
I truly cannot give enough high praises to this place: aesthetic transports you to the most gorgeous cafe (even going to the bathroom was an artistic experience!), the open kitchen allows you to watch the chefs at work, and THE FOOD! You are not even prepared for such a flavor sensation to enter your mouth!!!!!!!!!
Whatever you do, whatever you order, DO NOT (I repeat) DO NOT miss out on those truffle & Parmesan fries! 😤 I almost ordered a box to go home with! Hahaha my ham & Brie baguette was so complexly delicious for such a simple sandwich and the burger was phenomenal, top 5 on my best burger list!
I will say, this place is not for the faint of wallet (save your pennies to go!) but it is most definitely worth every penny you spend there!!!!
