- Reviews:Busy, but there was only one clerk up front. So I rang up my elderly Aunt in self-checkout, which she did not understand at all, then my own purchases. The anxiety that self-checkout gave her gave me anxiety. There are still people in this world that are not tech savvy and need a cashier. I’m glad she didn’t want to write a check, provide a letter of credit, or something else equally distant from modern life. The store was out of a lot of things we need. If you don’t have product A, I’m not going to buy B, C, or D. Lack of customer skills and service. The amount of people who shoplifted in front of these people are staggering. I brought it to the attention of the attendants and they said oh well, they don’t pay me enough. Oh wow, what can you do with that. I’ve said for years since self checkout started and Walmart, that this corporation should offer people a 10% discount to check out themselves because then people don’t get upset about doing it. - Reviews:I like the bulk section, fresh veggies, and the hot pizza and occasionally the salad bar. Outside of that it can get rather pricey here, but i think that’s how they roll. Sometimes there are only a few options for Vegans and Gluten Free needs, here everyone has a lot to choose from that’s hot and ready to eat, or the salad bar is amazing! The employee at the customer service desk and the store manager, Jeremy, were kind, efficient, and helpful. They take customer service seriously. While I was there another customer was downright rude to the SM. He handled her without missing a beat. He let it slide off his back like it’s a common occurrence. What have we come to people‽ We’re all doing the best we can with what we’ve got. Customers need to be nice, too!
Great products. However many customers and employees are very rude and can’t seem to mind their own business. A couple months ago as I was checking out, I saw a register. I was then shoved out of the way by another woman, and she took the register. I even apologized to her, and she gave me a dirty look. My sister was there with me, and I turned to her, asked if she had seen what just happened. The woman then started aggressively slamming her groceries into bags after she scanned them. She quickly left and said something under her breathe to me, I didn’t quite catch what it was. Another incident, I was here to return something. This day I was wearing a white halter top. A very large woman in a pink shirt on a scooter drove by and shouted very loudly, “you forgot your shirt!” And drove off snickering. I am sure that she was just jealous because she was old and fat. I came here with my mom one day as well, and we stopped by the deli to get something to eat. My mom wanted some chicken, which she stated, to which the employee replied “OK when you say chicken, there’s 5 or so different kinds of chicken, so which kind of chicken is it? It’s not that hard.”
I have had multiple experiences where I’ve been looking for something specific and have had no clue where it was located, and every time I talk to an employee they are always able to help. The younger employees in particular are usually pretty quick to help, and every interaction I’ve had with the employees in the electronics section has been very pleasant and sometimes even enjoyable. If you treat the employees like actual people and not just workers, they will be nice to you and will actually make an effort to help you out !!!
I just to go here a lot for lunch. It was close to work and had decent food in there deli. But for the last 4 times I have gone in for lunch (Noon) they have had barely any food even ready. Some sides and maybe some hot wings or orange chicken but that is really it. Nothing in the hot cases. I do like going here but I can’t keep wasting time for lunch in hopes they might have something ready to eat.
Clean, bright. Hot, need to have the air conditioning on! Inventory can be a low or none available sometimes. Some departments such as the Money Center close early due to staffing issues.
