Nothing really stands out about it but it’s normally clean and the shelves seem well-stocked. Parking is kind of goofy due to oddly placed stop signs and the pick-up area, but it’s always easy to find a spot even during the busiest times. Self-checkout is usually the only option (maybe one register will be open) and I’ve seen the self checkout lines get as long as a 10/15 minute wait but this is rare. They closed half the self checkouts on the side where the home goods were. Only the 4 self checkouts we’re open by groceries. There were no checkers,….only option was the 4 self checkouts by groceries. Super long line and a lot of very unhappy customers (see my 2nd picture I just uploaded.) Hopefully these guys get their act together,….I mean seriously, close half the self checkouts and have no checkers at all at 6:15pm on a Monday. Super bizarre. 6:30 pm on a Sunday…line wrapped around the aisles of people trying to check out. I’ve been in line for 15 minutes now for the self checkout. Lot of annoyed people in line with no manager in sight. The people watching the self checkout registers should be helping to check out but they are just standing there and watching. However, last time I was in for an oil change I was met with hostility coming from Joshua. I’m not sure if he is a manager or not but his emotional decision making and lack of emotional awareness toward others made me very uncomfortable. - Reviews:Whole Foods gets a lot of grief because of the high prices. That’s fair. The prices are indeed too high. But if you are careful… and judicious… and discerning, you can obtain some wonderful items there. And you can get most of your grocery needs met by King Sooners or Costco. So, yes, I admit it. I shop at Whole Foods. Carefully. I like the way I can find some things at WF that I can’t find elsewhere. The Whole Foods in Broomfield is a nice store, and the staff members are helpful and positive. But there is a part of the store that is always disappointing. The east side of the store, where the salad bar, hot bar, deli counter, and fresh food items are sold. At this store, this sections always seem disheveled and untended. The fresh food looks old, looks too dry or too wet. There are many empty shelves and basins. My photos show how dispiriting this part of the store feels to shoppers. I only buy my chuck roasts here because they are beautiful cuts and the butchers actually engage in the experience by asking what you’re cooking and show their knowledge. On a positive note, the young man who checked me out was absolutely wonderful! Very kind and most helpful!
On the other hand, I’m disabled and needed to use the ladies’ room before I headed home. It was CLOSED for cleaning, yet again! I can’t tell you how many times that’s happened. That’s not okay! I had to schlep all the way to the back of the store to relieve myself. Why aren’t the facilities cleaned AFTER the store is closed!?!
Finally, another recommendation would be that this store should consider that folks trying to get around in the electronic carts have an extremely difficult time navigating the narrow aisles that have been set up, without accidentally moving something or knocking something over.
We have used our own tote bags for a few years now. But being forced to unload, scan and reload your own groceries…. WITHOUT the aid of the metal bag holders is ridiculous. Takes 2 hands to hold a canvas tote up and open. The metal bag holders are already paid for…PUT THEM BACK! It would speed up getting out of there.
Went in to buy some items for a party and got most items just fine. I was denied using the MyColorado digital ID when buying alcohol despite the fact that I’ve used it just about everywhere aside from certain bars. I called the store operator who asked around. She was informed it was allowed for returns and alcohol purchases. I asked for the operator’s name so I could use as reference to go in and make my purchase. However, instead of giving me her name she hung up on me. Aside from their associates lack of knowledge on company policy and the rude way the phone operator handled the situation, it was an alright experience.
Store is dirty and the employee was rude and unhelpful. My wife and I are disabled and had to ask for the self checkout person for help. She acted like we were robbing the place because a bottle of finger nail polish didn’t ring up which is why we asked for help in the first place. Then a clearance item was $5.00 and she refused to sell it to us for that price.bwe even took her back and showed her several of the exact same item on the clearance rack with the same price tag of $5.00. She said “SOMEONE must have switched the price tags”. I said “on all of them”! We just left and won’t go back.
Because zero is not available.. Crazy Walmart has redefined what a unit price per each means. Absolutely crazy making at a shopping store. Does the #gaslighting ever stop!!!
@Walmart quit mind fu$ing people. I feel violated. Could be my ptsd was triggered. It’s infuriating to have someone tell you that the@words you see do not mean what it means in the real world.
