I come here very often, though I am a self checkout user mainly due to my social anxiety (especially during non working hours) and the fact I’m too shy to tell someone if a mistake has been made. But about half an hour ago I had milk bottles and the desk was closed so I used the regular checkout to reduce inconveniences for the staff (an odd priority I have when going places) and the young man that was the cashier was super friendly and made conversation less terrifying without causing awkward silences. Plus everything was scanned and priced correctly that I can tell. I wish I knew his name so I could shout him out, but I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Rick ErckBy Richard Erck (5 months ago)I have shopped here for 15 years and now I am done with this location forever – for a few reasons: First, the cashiers always act like you are wrecking their day when you come up to the liquor store side. Today was the third time I was insulted at this location. I walked up with 5 items (meat, 6-pack, potato’s, lettuce, and some carrots). When I got to the counter, the lady just stared at me for a long time and said “great, another person who can’t read – what is with these people.” Apparently, I had missed the part where she put the ‘register closed’ sign up on the OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE REGISTER. HOW WOULD I SEE THAT? I will go to Pick n’ Save forever more – which is a shame because I spent almost $600 every two weeks grocery shopping for my family there. They are also WAY overpriced for what you get. Festival WAS the place to get the freshest meat and produce, but now you just pay an upcharge for garbage. Lastly, they are almost always out of meat now. When I was there today, there was no pork on the shelf at all, and only top round beef. Can’t wait for them to close this location – because management and staff are terrible now.By Tim Leiser (a month ago)We love Festival. The store is always clean and well stocked. The staff is always willing to help and say hi as you pass. Today when checking out the staff member was so sweet. Offered to get me another basket and made delightful talk while I checked out. Additionally the alcohol section was great to check on a beer and even went to find the distributor to find out if the beer was available. Although not a part of the staff even the vendors are friendly. Coffee counter was great too, apologized for no nondairy but explained all my options. Finally the deli counter was prompt and extra nice- good job Festival! Lots of variety of everything. Wish they had fresh flight fish like festival (that is my only gripe). The staff are super friendly and store is super clean. Love the frozen food collection and ice cream selection. The birthday cakes look awesome and a lot of variety. I love the ten minute parking for quick visits.
OMG!!! I am from the south and was getting so very discouraged about the lack of fresh produce in the area. Then I went into this store and I am so very pleased with it. It is so clean and they have such a large clean well put together produce section. AND I only spent 16 bucks on what I needed. I had a store last night try to sell me celery at 3 bucks. Not here! You pay the regular price of 1.79. I have found my new grocery store!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
As someone who was born and raised in Michigan, it’s nice to have a piece of home here. The people are friendly and helpful, going out of their way to be of service.
I usually do a quick grocery pickup on my lunch hour. The employees are always very courteous and efficient.
Staff has always been very kind and attentive. I was a fool and left my phone on a shelf on accident as I was doing the scan as you go meathead, a member of the staff took it to the counter, but when they saw me in the area panicking the inquired and informed me that it was with the customer service people at the desk.
The pharmacy staff have almost come out to help if they notice someone is confused even though it very much is not their department and they may not be able to help.
Store is clean and normally well stocked.

Their prices are also very competitive, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious shoppers. It’s clear that Meijer prioritizes both quality and customer satisfaction. I highly recommend shopping at Meijer for a hassle-free and convenient retail experience. A resounding five stars!
