I was supposed to have an appointment there this morning, but unfortunately Ms. Rühl hadn’t made the appointment. First she claimed that my appointment was last week. When I showed her (the date she filled out) the answer I got was “Then I must have forgotten to enter it”. The door was closed. There was no apology, nothing. The only way I can explain such behavior is that she doesn’t care about the customers, they are not important. The pharmacy itself is great and friendly too. Have been in Mulheim on and off for 6 mths now and would not go anywhere else. If there is anything they don’t have in stock, they are normally able to order it in the same or the next day. Staff are always polite, friendly and helpful and there is always somebody who speaks a little English which is a real boon for someone like me whose German is v basic. Fr Kutlu, Herr Franke and Herr Witte provide an excellent service. Herr Witte went out of his way to help me with VAT refund forms, and happily created an EU digital vaccination certificate for me using my overseas vaccination details- I have struggled to get other pharmacies to agree to do this for me. I always recommend Pelikan to others visiting Mulheim.
Very well stocked pharmacy, competent, friendly employees who always give good advice and are not out to only sell the most expensive things.
As a customer, I feel very well looked after there, always happy!
Urgently Avoid!
Very subhuman social interaction with customers. If you want to pick up essential medicine 10 minutes before closing time, you’ve come to the wrong place.
Already closed at 6:30 p.m. although they are open until 7:00 p.m. Impossible you can come out of eggs instead of others because you need something and you are standing in front of the pharmacy and nobody is there, thank you very much
In the pharmacy I had to seek advice on a specific matter. At that time Mr. Franke was present, who could really help me. If I should again seek advice on the choice and use of remedies, I will visit the Pelikan Vital Pharmacy again.
